Last minute booking, staff were helpful about getting there via public transport. The hotel is a period building which has positives and negatives. It's nice to stay in a piece of London history but of course - no lift to the fourth floor, narrow staircase and uneven, creaky floors. I don't mind this because I've always lived in older buildings...

Close to Victoria station and within walking distance of shopping centres and parks. Tired but classic Georgian building with large picture windows and creaky stairs. It's basic, but reasonable and the breakfast is OK. It's a great budget hotel if you want to beat the misery of Southern Rail strikes. Simply present your hotel receipt to The RMT and ASLEF...

We were booked in for four nights over Christmas. Chosen for it's location which I can't fault. The level of cleanliness and breakfast however were not what I had expected. Towels were grey and smelt unwashed. Beds were comfortable but We found the carpet dirty and the it was impossible to control the shower temperature. To be fair when we...

We were there for two days. The service was friendly and very helpful. But when it comes to the comfort of your room, it's simply not good enough. The rooms are very tiny, it was like 4m2. Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
