After much searching for the perfect place to stay in London, my sister helped me find the Pelham in South Kensington. It was a fantastic choice! The communication from the hotel before our arrival was extremely helpful! They were able to arrange transportation to and from the airport and after a long (direct) flight from Phoenix, the driver with our name on a board in the arrival hall was a great sight! Only about 30 minutes from Heathrow, the hotel is situated in a lovely and safe neighborhood. Thomas, the bellman/concierge was extremely welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. He always called us by name and was anxious to serve our every need. Thank you Thomas! You were great! We were on their 1st floor (2nd floor in US) that we could access by elevator or stairs. Our room (an executive double which had a king bed) was a very nice size for a European hotel with a lovely en-suite largish bathroom, nice sized closet, small fridge and storage for folded clothes. The very high ceiling was a great and the bed coverings and window treatments were gorgeously tailored out of exquisite fabric. There was a small table, comfy chair and desk with chair as well as a large tv. Our room faced Cromwell Place, not a real busy street, but there were buses and trucks. The window were large but we NEVER heard street noise, which was great & totally amazing! The front desk is staffed 24/7 and there is a lovely library where one could sit and read or enjoy a drink. They offer a full English breakfast (not included), which we did not try, but I would expect it to be very good. They also have an Italian restaurant on the lower level that we also did not try. I believe they offer room service for extended hours. There is another lovely, cozy room off the lobby where they have an honor bar. The place is beautifully appointed, making it very inviting to come back to the hotel. The tube station is right across the street with three different train lines and excellent signage-easy to read & figure out. There are many excellent restaurants in the area, all walking distance. We enjoyed Thai food, Indian food, Lebanese food, Georgian food, and of course The Hoop & Toy pub fare across from the hotel! The hotel was quiet and the other guests were friendly. The front desk staff was very accommodating. Before arrival a member of the concierge staff was able to make a hair salon appointment for me at a nearby, walkable, salon. Our experience there was fantastic. I would recommend it highly! And when we return, we will definitely stay there again!

I have been lucky enough to stay at The Pelham Hotel a number of times recently both with my family and on my own. The hotel itself combines beauty and elegance with a really cosy, warm and homely feel. Every room I stayed in including the exquisite mews room which is perfect for a family visit are beautiful, incredibly comfortable and spotlessly clean and wonderful attention to all the details that make your stay out of the ordinary. I cannot praise highly enough Luca and the fantastic team of staff who are so welcoming, attentive and go to every length to make our time at the Pelham so incredibly special. I have stayed in many hotels in the world and never have I received such warm and personal attention. I have loved my visits to The Pelham and won’t consider staying anywhere else in London going forwards. Management of COVID is very efficiently managed with sanitiser stations throughout the hotel. Location is fantastic, close to shops, public transport links, museums and wonderful restaurants nearby. Hyde Park is close by for walks. This said the hotel is incredibly quiet and a real oasis to come back to after a busy day. Breakfasts are so delicious and delivered promptly by room service or eaten in the cosy dining room. I cannot recommend The Pelham Hotel highly enough! Beauty, home from home and the most accommodating and fantastic staff to welcome you. I can’t wait to return!

As a Birthday gift to myself, my sister and I arrived on January 12,,2020 (the day of my birthday!!) and after flying for nearly 10 hours we arrived safely. Our excitment of being there completely masked our exhaustion!! From the moment we walked in the lobby we knew that we were going to enjoy our stay here. The staff was the most friendliest and welcoming that I have experienced in years. I travel extensively). I told them that I was celebrating my birthday and that I would love to have a little "Tea Party" that evening! Later that afternoon, they provided me the most exquisite tea party in a wonderful reading room complete with fireplace!! My sister and I had the best time chatting,reminiscing, relaxing sipping tea and eating a delicious array of hors d'oeuvres and pastries that evening. The location of The Pelham was very well populated with the "hustle and bustle" of many people going to and fro!. I love this and felt safe! The shops were plentiful and transportation (we were across the street from the "underground" transportation system) was great! We did call Uber several time and never waited more that 7 minutes for them to arrive! During our entire stay, the customer service, the cleanliness of rooms, the attentiveness, the food in the restaurant, even welcoming us back in the evening after touring all day and having our bed turned down was absolutely more that amazing!
