We stayed for 5 nights at this hotel and enjoyed our stay. It is very well located to all the central London attratctions. Its very close to the Gloucester Road Tube. Very easy to get here if you hop on the picadilly line from Heathrow. There is a waitrose super market close by if you wanna grab something quick. The... More

My wife went on a conference there, so I joined her for a fantastic 4 days in sunny London. This hotel is in a superb location, 1 block from Gloucester Road tube station, and from the street, where you can find fantastic breakfasts, large supermarket, pubs, restaurants, and the line of museums in just about 15 minutes walk (if you... This hotel is in a great location, direct tube from Heathrow to Gloucester Road tube station which is literally around the corner from the hotel. Also near the hotel is a Waitrose, Tesco express, Starbucks etc if you need to stock up on snacks etc. We arrived in early and were given a room early which was unexpected, check in... More

Was looking for an hotel choice in town to lodge during my business mission, near to the Piccadilly line in order to reach easily Heathrow airport for some meetings (as I preferred to avoid staying at the airport hotels). I'm always very happy when I stay at the Holiday Inn so I'm glad again having chosen this one in Kensington... More

We 3 adults stayed for 11 nights in adjoining rooms. Personally I wouldn't have chosen this hotel, but it was chosen for me as it suited the needs of my fellow travellers. Others have summed up this hotel quite well in saying that it is a Holiday Inn and there are no niceties, no lovely extras to make you feel... More

Good location, close to many major attractions. You can even walk to West End if you like and are not in rush. Morning run in Kennsington Palace near by. Great public areas, lovely the pub. Even found free parking over weekend. Nice views from top floors.

This hotel has rather larger capacity thus many group tour people stays here and bit noisy sometimes however the room rate stays rather reasonable and rooms and other functions are well equipped. Close to tube station and convenient for Heathlow, Gatwick and London City airports through public transporation. Some times the quality of reception staff is disappointing

Cannot fault the hotel, brilliant location and very clean. Food in the bar was a bit disapointing and £76 for the underground car park is having a laugh. Would definitely stay there again but next time I will arrive via the tube.

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
