Danubius Hotel Regents Park is often commended for its spotless premises and the cordiality of its staff, despite occasional lapses in service. Nestled in a desirable location, guests enjoy proximity to attractions and the tranquility it offers, although some question the establishment's value, pointing to steep prices and varying room qualities. Very nice communal areas, marble and shiny reception and what appear to be newly refurbished and carpeted corridors. We were told we’d been upgraded from a King to a deluxe King but as far as I could see, the only difference was a padded headboard rather than a hardwood one. The word “spacious” is used in the loosest sense of the word as the room was only fractionally bigger than what I’d consider a double.
Comfortable enough bed but tiny bathroom. The shower is a wall mounted head over a narrow and tapered bath so spraying at you rather than down on you, and rubber anti-slip mats at required in the bath.
We dined in the Pavilion bar where the food was quite good but the servers, although attentive, seemed very bored with the whole process. A friendly smile while serving goes a long way. They may have just been fed up as it was the day of a test match and the proximity to Lords meant the bar (if not the hotel itself) was extremely busy. The cricket also meant that the room prices were effectively double what they would normally be. I may have been slightly less judgemental had the room rate been its normal price.
With the main lack of satisfaction being the tiny bathroom and shower over bath (and the elements of white painted chipboard bath panel is already showing signs of deterioration) I’ll probably go Premier Inn next time.
Aiming for 5 star, graded 4 star but some decidedly 3 star elements.

Rooms clean, beds firm and very comfortable, pillows also hard or soft, not top quality feather, but good, carpets clean, no smell, television large, good choice of channels although the BBC needs to be shut down they no longer transmit the truth but rather a twisted antisemitic nonsense, coffee machine, kettle and fridge all worked well, fridge was not noisy, heating perfect for cold winter, bathrooms 4* standard (toilet seat doesn't have slow close) very hot strong water for shower or bath, no toilet brush, sink very basic, no drawers in bathroom, lighting mediocre, no place to shave with magnified mirror, great desk to work at, comfortable chair for work and extra armchair for reading next to nice open window with view of lords cricket ground and a cemetery :) I asked for a low floor due to Shabbes away from lift, which they gave me. Considering I was facing the road the noise from the road was really minimal. Only down side! Every 10 mins you hear the train going by, but considering I slept well and the trains stop from 11pm to 6am, so not terrible. Overall, great friendly staff, cleaning of room, excellent, recommend if you are need a good quality hotel in that location. It's not the Ritz, it doesnt look fancy, but very practical and clean. My score over 4.9* only downside is train, which you might not hear if you take a higher floor.

Very large and comfortable hotel in an excellent location, 5 minutes walk from St. John's Wood tube station (Jubilee line) and 10 minutes from Baker Street, also well served by several bus lines. Our room, 1 family suite for 3 people, was comfortable and equipped with all comforts: bathrobes and slippers for everyone, always replenished supply of bath soaps, kettle, tea, coffee and bottle of water every day. Comfortable bed, although for me any bed other than mine is a problem, and double pillows. Super breakfast for quantity of choices and quality (the scrambled eggs were amazing!) both sweet and savory. We spent a week in London, which I love, and where despite it being the third time, I will continue to return and will definitely stay in this hotel again which I absolutely recommend! Staff always very kind and available for every request. Special thanks go to Jude, Edina, Alex (who is Italian if you have communication problems) and Dainius. Truly congratulations!

I stayed at this hotel during my visit to London, and overall, it was a positive experience. The hotel is very clean, and the check-in and check-out processes were quick and smooth. The location is excellent, situated in a quiet area and just a 10-minute walk from London Business School.

The room I stayed in was very clean, and the housekeeping staff visited daily to tidy up and replenish tea, coffee, water, and even biscuits. However, the coffee machine in the room wasn’t working, so I relied on the kettle to make tea, which wasn’t a big issue for me.

If you're looking for a quiet place close to the training institute, this hotel is a great choice.

Very clean, well appointed rooms (stayed in Deluxe), good facilities, good attentive and friendly service from all staff, convenient parking available on site (for cost), good wifi. Only drawbacks : food was served cold both in restaurant and for in room service so perhaps management need to look at how to keep food hot from kitchen to table/room. Cleaning staff woke me twice early morning which was hugely annoying, so use Do Not Disturb sign if you want your sleep. TV really rubbish and gave up working on second night. Streaming service limited to Google.

Stayed 6 nights there, my room temperature was around 16.5 - 17 celsius max. during my stay. I asked the reception many times that the AC was blowing cold air and that room was very cold. They kept saying that they would send a technician to fix it but it wasn't fixed till I checked out.

As per the room, once you open the door you met a quite narrow stairs of around 13- 14 steps. Carrying the luggage all the way up was difficult. If my suitcase was a little bigger, it wouldn't fit down those narrow stairs.

The bathroom was too small when you sit on the toilet your elbow would hit to the wall. The bathtub was separated from the bathroom by a curtain. On the first day, when I closed the curtain and got out of the tub after taking a shower, I saw that the entire bathroom floor was filled with water and I cleaned up that water myself with a towel. In the following days, I closed the curtain by inserting it into the bathtub, so that the water leaking from the curtain flowed into the bathtub, not to the floor. Taking a shower in the bathtub with a curtain was not very enjoyable. They could have covered the tub edge with glass instead of curtains.

Apart from that, the room and all the furniture, carpet, etc. it was already too old.

Overall this is a good hotel just outside the hustle and bustle of central London. Rooms are smallish, and depending on if you have an updated room or not can be quite nice or dated. The hotel occupies an odd piece of land and therefore feels stitched together.

I was there on business for one week using many conference rooms and facilties. All were functional, but by no means state of the art. Conference staff was very helpful.

The biggest issue with the hotel is what I find an odd practice of making you prepay for your entire stay at check-in, and a default of charging a la carte for services like laundry and bar. In other words, the default is to NOT allow room charges. In order to enable this I had to ask the hotel to place a hold on my cc for a 100 pounds to cover these. But still everytime I picked up laundry or bought a drink at the bar the default was to ask me to pay for it and only after explaining each and every time that I had a set aside against my room was I allowed to do a room charge. As a business traveller I like to have everything on one invoice when I check out and can’t understand why the hotel preference is to NOT allow this.

We stayed for one night to attend an engagement party in central London.
The hotel is a little way out and about 10-15 minutes walk from St Johns Wood tube station.
We were staying in a basic room which was slightly old fashioned but very clean and comfortable.
The shower is over the bath which is very slippery and has no handhold in the wall to help steady yourself which felt somewhat perilous!
Our friends were staying in a deluxe room which had been recently refurbished and was much better lit and furnished.
The hotel was good value but if it is not too much more I would go for the deluxe room next time.
We did not have breakfast there as we were meeting friends for brunch.

My wife and I stayed here for the first time. We had a very small room with a double bed, but it was sufficient. The bed was comfortable and the room service was excellent. The breakfasts were good and offered a wide variety of selections. The main dining room needs to offer more selections for people who are lactose intolerant. Our waitress tried very hard to assist and had to jump through hoops to accomplish getting her rice and 2 fried eggs at lunch time, since neither was on the menu. When I asked one morning if I could order Eggs Benedict “to go”, I was told NO!

I recently stayed at this hotel to celebrate the wedding of my nephew & his wife. Golnaz along with Barbara, General Manager & Selz in HR had everything arranged for our arrival.
Jude & the reception staff were extremely welcoming & attentive. Our room was spotless with all the amenities you could wish for.
Breakfast had a wide variety of options to choose from & the staff were all very friendly & helpful. The bar has a lovely atmosphere with excellent staff.
I could not fault this hotel & found the location perfect.
