Just returned from a couple of nights stay at St Giles. I visited with my mum and we had a twin room which was a great room. It included hairdryer, fan, safe and tea making facilities. The breakfast was good, well laid out and plenty of choice. The location of the hotel was fantastic, short walk from Tottenham Road station... More

I stay at this hotel on a regular basis when I'm working in London. It is so convenient, not only for work, but for shopping and theatres within walking distance. And if you don't feel up to the walk, Tottenham Court Road tube station is just around the corner. Rooms vary from small and basic to larger executive style, but... More

Good position, very helpful staff, the room was small and there was very little natural light however it was quiet and the bed was comfy. Not impressed with breakfast the orange juice was disgusting, there were no milk jugs available for your tea, poor selection of fresh fruit only apples. Bacon and toast ok. No fried or poached eggs available.

The location is great just off Oxford Street, near the underground, loads of restaurants of varying prices. I have stayed at many budget chains including Premier Inn and Jury's Inn. i think St Giles should at least upgrade it's room to the standard of these two chains.

Stayed one night and the hotel was ok. Clean and tidy, but very small standard room. Breakfast was not great and the coffee was appalling, but it was somewhere to put your head down after a theatre visit, so it did the job.

This is my second visit of the year. The location is excellent. On the corner of Oxford Street, 15 minute walk to Covent Garden & The Strand. Only downside is the lifts and lack of WIFI. I mostly used the stairs as there was always a massive queue for the lifts. Also on this visit, my room was quite near... More

This is the second time that we have stayed at St Giles and on both occasions we've enjoyed our stay. The rooms are fairly small but perfectly adequate for somewhere to stay for a long weekend...after all who goes to London to stay in their room all day! Rooms are clean and beds very comfortable,we had breakfast included and found that... More

Nice hotel, good location clean and tidy , only Complaint rooms and so hot! Door man very helpful had quite a wait for the lifts at times, good Pice for a central hotel in London tho also with the option of breakfast. Was also able to leave bags there on our last day until we ready to collect.

Brill hotel in good location. Had no faults with the hotel. The only down side is they took part payment a week before so we then phoned and they told us it was one night's payment they had taken. Online it said you could cancel up to the day before, which i thought was odd. Once we arrived are room... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
