As the title says, if you're in London for a West End show, this hotel is in the perfect spot - a quick 5 minute walk away from all theatres! But don't expect luxury. The rooms are quite small, and the bathroom is tiny, there was no air conditioning (not that you'd need it most of the time), the lifts... More

We booked this as a theatre break, so room and show with breakfast included. Very small room with very small window which had fixed opening and no AC.The temperature was 27 degrees outside I think if we were a dog the RSPCA would have been called! A fan was provided but just rotated the warm air around.Far too hot in... More

Small, basic but clean. We stayed on the 6th floor and waiting for lifts was ridiculous. Hot rooms and only a fan no air conditioning. Cheap and clean though. One nights stay is long enough, location is excellent though. So not bad but doesn't excite

I will not be staying at this hotel again, although the location really could not be beat. The hotel is badly in need of repairs. It has a very small lobby area that is permanently congested. Waiting time for the lifts is always long and one broke down, with me in it. The rooms are very small and the shower... More

This hotel was perfect in location for pretty much everything central! Reception staff helpful and toms clean and comfy other. Only downfall was lack of aircon, although we had a little fan, it didn't do much good on the hottest few days of the year. Overall, great and would stay here again!

We stayed here for two nights in July. The location is great, very central right on the corner of Oxford street. Tottenham Court Road tube station is a short walk away. We parked at the underground car park at a rate of £25 per night, very good for London. The room was adequate, reasonably comfortable double bed, a small safe... More

I stay here all the time on business The location is great and the car parking once stamped by the concierge is a great price for central London The facilities and bars around the hotel are great. The rooms are average but superior to others in the area within the price bracket The internet is not free which is annoying... More

First around wasn't a great success, but tried it again because of convenient location and budget price. Having said that: the personnel really do need to treat there customers more friendly. They don't give the impression they are there to please you. They are there because they a job......And whereas the English concierge is extremely friendly, the concierge 'from abroad'... More

We stayed here for two nights and we were pleasantly surprised! The location was good as we were going to the theatre on both evenings. We stayed on the 12th floor at our request. we were offered the first floor. The room was small but it was enough for our needs and more importantly it was quiet-even though there is... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
