Stayed here years back, the location is amazing, room ok size, clean, busy busy busy, never ate or use bar there, I am not a fan of room key having a big fob attached to it though, and, well, at the moment there is massive building work taking place right outside, no chance of a sleep. That's not the hotels... More

I've stayed here a couple of times, because the prices are very good compared to other hotels in the area. The location is terrific, very close to Tottenham Court Road tube station, Oxford Street, Soho, Covent Garden and the British Museum. The rooms vary quite a lot. They are clean and adequate, and fine if you're not expecting luxury. I... More

We went to London for a hotel and theatre break. On arrival the welcome was friendly and the book in procedure was also quick and efficient . I am afraid that's where the niceties stopped. The room we were in was only just big enough to get a double bed in . You could only swing a cat if I... More

Had to book at very short notice, after being offered Rabbit Hutch room at the Gower House Hotel. As mentioned the room is a bit small, but comes with the usual amenities, except for air conditioning, they do provide a fan, which was very used at night. Staff are polite, friendly and courteous, and hotel is ideally placed for Covent... More

We stayed at the St.Giles as part of a theatre break. On arriving at reception I was dealt with very quickly and politely. I explained that my wife doesn't do lifts and asked for a room not too many floors up. The best available was on the fourth floor. Fine. The room was a small double, but adequate. The shower... I have stayed at the St Giles before on a few occasions. It is OK. I thought I knew what to expect. I know the place is tired but it is clean and it is not too far from our office. I booked late and could only get a single room. It was the smallest room I have ever stayed... More

This place is in a great location, very close to the underground, opposite a supermarket and not far from the main 'sights' but it is fairly run down and old. The staff were nice and helpful but the rooms are in serious need of an update. We had an air conditioner but it was so noisy that we switched it... More

Visited in May, four girls on a hopping and tourist trip! ; ) Perfectly located near Oxford street, and with Primark just around the corner... I think we had good value for our money and would stay again next time we visit London. Lifts were not very efficient, we waited for a very long time when going home. Staff were... More

I was looking for a hotel in a great location for a 2 night stay and this was perfect! The room was an ample size, a few people exaggerating on here...staff were helpful and it was clean. The location is incredible, cannot recommend enough. Looking to book again already!

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
