We stayed a whole week, part of it for work, but one can't be in London in summer and not have fun! We enjoyed an executive king room with air conditioning (learned from previous experience that it's a good idea). The room was large and comfortable and the executive breakfast superb (made to order). Above all, the service was of...

Being in the Strand and within walking distance of so many attractions makes this hotel perfect. Plenty of buses outside the door taking you wherever you want to go. It is an older hotel and rooms are standard but well maintained and serviced and the price was reasonable for London. Tea making, in room safe etc. A full breakfast was...

I have visited London many times and the Strand Palace Hotel is definitely the best choice, all considering. Spent a lot of time on the internet, TA among others, to decide where we wanted to stay this time. The SP is a very good choice in this expensive city. Location cannot be beat. Walking distance from almost all the main...

I have been staying at The Strand in excess of 30 yrs. Definitely my hotel of choice. Value for money, friendly, clean, perfect location for theatreland, Covent Garden, Leicester Square, Picadilly, Trafalgar Square & so much more.

OMG! Awful, awful place. Ultra noisy broken boiler or something and sticky carpet. Worst hotel I've ever stayed in London. Should knock it down and sell the land. Great location just gives it a terrible rating. Don't stay there.

Had great sleeps when stayed here even though you could have great sleep anywhere after the walking you do, hotel was much nicer that expected, 2 min walk from the mall (the long road towards Buckingham palace) and trafalgar square, good location for night life as its just 5-10 mins walk away
