I stayed at this hotel for about five days for business. Was relatively easy to get to from the airport. I took the train and was able to walk to it easily. it is definitely centrally located in the downtown area and was descent walking distance to the most places I was interested in seeing. I got a single room...

We stayed here for three nights in May. I had booked in advance via the Strand Palace website 2 cosy doubles. When we checked in we were advised that cosy meant the bed was against the wall which is not ideal for people of our age in the middle of the night! So we had to upgrade for £30 per...

Our short stay at the Strand Palace was perfect. The double room was a good size and had no issues with noise. Could use a bedside clock. The pre theater dinner in the Carvery Grill, which is buffet, was ok. There are many restaurants in the area that would be a better option. The location of this hotel is what...

As many other travellers concur, the location of the Hotel is spot on. Right on the Strand, next to Covent Garden and a 10 minute walk from Leicester Square, Bus no 176 and 22 right in front of the Hotel which go to Leicester Square and Trafalgar square respectively. Plenty of options to eat within a 2 minute walk from...

The Strand Palace Hotel is close to about 4 tube stations, but what isn't in london? Close walk over the bridge to get to the dungeons, eye etc. Fine. The Hotel it's self is clean, free from tat. The room we had was big enough, plenty of storage space. But our friends had very little in that regard, depends on...

The hotel is very well located. It is surrounded by theaters, restaurants and nice pubs. Trafalgar Square is within walking distance and so is the tube. I occupied an executive single and the room was clean and so were the bedding. I was, however shocked with how small the room was. The breakfast was acceptable but the buffet dinner was...

It's an old tired hotel with below average restaurants. But it doesn't matter it's in Covent Garden so you are spoilt for choice for places to eat. Plenty of better hotel options too. Nothing else to add

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to review the Strand Palace Hotel and for your feedback. Many thanks for highlighting our fabulous location, which is indeed within walking distance of Covent Garden. Being a Historic Building, we understand that we need some TLC, hence why we are in the initial phase of a Major Refurbishment plan. I do...

Introduced a new friend to the Strand Palace Hotel Carvery restaurant. Situated on the ground floor of this old and well established hotel on the Strand opposite the Savoy. You have a choice of starters, main and/or dessert. The starters are from a large salad bar with a very good selection of fish. Three roasts - rib of beef, turkey...
