Me and the Family stayed 30/5/2023 to 2/6/2023 on reception Khadija was very helpful when we checked in and out. We loved the location go left or right we was near all the attractions, restaurants, the theatres. The left is Trafalgar Square and The Strand the right Leicester Square then to Chinatown bringing us to Shaftesbury and Soho. The room was very comfortable with fridge, expresso machine and kettle with safe. The breakfast was excellent and staff very attentive with very good choice. Tip breakfast between 7:00 to 8:00 is bets time, as not many guests and not having to queue. Locally went to Honest Burgers and these was really good, Pizza Pilgrim has very good pizzas. Outside the hotel is a shop selling drinks and chocolate and sandwiche shop. Overall excellent trip to London and go see Mrs Doubtfire it was excellent and very funny.…

Have had many enjoyable stays here previously but last weeks stay was most unsatisfactory. Bedroom furniture shabby and desperately needs replacing. Bathroom was also in dire need of overhaul with cracked and stained handbasin, mould on tiles and other tiles shoddily repaired. Reception staff who have always in the past been extremely pleasant and helpful seemed harried and were abrupt. Breakfast also not as good as previously experienced, very slow clearing tables, skin on baked beans and no marmalade one morning. One morning in dining room staff were moving tables and chairs for a lunchtime booking whilst people still eating breakfast.

Great location which was the highlight of this hotel. The hotel itself is very dated and a little unclean. The rooms had a dusty smell. I’d rate the location a 5 but the hotel itself a 3. Breakfast was a buffet and was quite nice with lots of hot and cold options.

Nice hotel in a brilliant location near Trafalgar Square .The room was a decent size , clean with a comfortable bed. The bathroom had a bath/shower and was clean but the shower pressure was poor. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice.

Great location for central London. Spacious feeling on arrival compared to some other hotels. Staff friendly and helpful. We had an executive king room which was spacious and clean. Breakfast has plenty of choice. Would go back.

The front desk staff was welcoming when we arrived. The location is excellent near Trafalgar Square, the National Gallery, SOHO, easy walk to Palace Theater. The lobby was welcoming.. Having a coffee maker in the room is excellent. There's plenty of food at the breakfast buffet but the poached eggs were hard on top and the scrambled eggs were mediocre. The buffet also had lots of cereals, fruits, meats and cheeses and yogurts which were very good. One day I couldn't eat the pain au chocolat since it was so stale. The fellow in charge of the breakfast room was cold, unfriendly and rude. Instead of asking parties of two to take a table for two (the views were better from the tables for four), he snapped and ordered folks to "take a table for two". The shower was dangerous if you are short or have any mobility issues - I was concerned every time I went into the shower. There was mold on walls and ceiling as well as paint coming off the ceiling. There was hair on the shower wall and on the bed. No on asked us if everything was okay until we checked out. The bed was sloping so I ended up in the middle of the bed and had to crawl uphill to get out of bed. Every once in a while, a spring in the bed would make a noise for no reason at all. Our first afternoon, someone came to our room to dro off new towels. My husband ask them to hand him the towels as I had just gotten out of the shower and wasn't dressed (I was in the towel). She insisted on coming in and put the towels on the desk. We were very tired so ordered room service and the same thing happened. My husband answered the door and said he would take the pizza as I wasn't dressed (again, still in the towel). The fellow insisted on coming into the room to put the pizza on the desk. This is very off behavior and a total lack of privacy.…

We strongly recommend this hotel! It was in the perfect location in London to visit nearby areas or catch the Hop On, Hop Off bus. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly for every request we made - especially how to travel to a specific local destinations. The rooms were very comfortable and the morning breakfast had many delicious choices.

This was my birthday treat a night in London with a show. Reception area was pleasant to the eye and dining area was ok (evening in restaurant the lady serving was very friendly, attentive and happy in her job). Our double room was something else…. in desperate need of decorating and big issue’s with the plumbing in bathroom. Bath tape the water hardly ran out, so took ages to get enough to bath in. Toilet seat broken and didn’t flush properly, had to keep flushing several times to clear toilet paper away each time. Sink water didn’t run away quickly. Both sink and bath plug holes had loads of hair stuck in them! I doubt if they or any other part of the bathroom had seen any bleach in a long time…. Couldn’t get my head round it was a 4 Star and the Price my husband was charged……… !! Would not recommend at this point in time. …

The hotel is very well located right between Leicester Square and Trafalgar Square. Check in was smooth and despite arriving early our room was ready. The room was compact but perfectly adequate and was clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, everything you could possibly want, fresh and plentiful. An excellent base for exploring London right in the heart of the action and certainly reduced our need to use the Underground.
