Location was the best thing. Very short walk to Leicester Square, Casinos, Theaters, etc. Full sized bed nearly occupied the entire room. Numerous locations of mold in shower tile grout. Old windows with plexiglass cover over.
Great hotel, extremely central, professional and friendly staff. Ideal city centre base for a leisure stay. My wife and I are previous guests and would thoroughly recommend. We will be returning again soon.
I booked 3 rooms via hotels.com 2 weeks in advance on hotels.com, paid fully in advance. When we arrived we were told they were fully booked and didn’t have two of the rooms available. The check in team didn’t nothing to help us and hotel.com support was just woeful. Won’t use hotels.com or the thistle chain again I can’t leave a review on hotels.com because since I selected the unhappy face it won’t let me leave a review… I can leave reviews for other recent stays though at other hotels.
Average rooms are very small but if you can afford a jnr king suite, this hotel offers all you could want at a fair (for central London) price. We've stayed here many times when in London and found no reason to shift elsewhere.
Although the room had "London-size" (small) with limited space for luggage, the room is very nice, cozy with a very good bathroom (with walk-in shower) and good light (for shaving/make up). Water in bottles was provided (and refilled) und a water heater (boiler) with tea bags and instant coffee. Clean and fresh towels each day.
We recently stayed at this hotel and would certainly stay again Staff were wonderful and room was fantastic Location cant be beat near many attractions As travel agents we certainly would recommend this hotel
this was a business meeting held at the hotel, a good central location for us. the Hotel and staff were good and helpful, no issues and the breakfast and lunch were good. as several attendees are travelling in for the meeting it provides a good, centralised stay and conference facility

We decided to spend a little extra to stay in a nice hotel. We were very wrong. The entrance was hard to find and not welcoming. The entire hotel felt outdated. The hallway to our room was more like a hostel and our room was very outdated and TINY. It looked nothing like the photos. The shower was a poor design so we soaked the entire bathroom floor every time. We are disappointed we wasted our money.
We were in London for 3 weeks and chose this hotel. Best decision. The location was fabulous. quiet street but a 10-minute walk from activities on Leister Square and Piccadilly Circus. Our room was so comfortable. Large and spacious, so welcome after a full day of tourist activities.
