Just back from a four nights stay in the Rosewood London this is our go to hotel in London. We’ve stayed here 5 times now we absolutely love this hotel. Found it and I can say it’s a hidden gem in London. 1 min walk to Holborn tube station so very handy and 10 min walk into Covent Garden. Would highly recommend this hotel staff are amazing and welcoming and professional nothing is too much hassle. Stunning building and rooms you have to when staying in London choose the rosewood.
Stayed at the Rosewood which was fabulous. What a lovely hotel, our arrival under the arch of the building with the beautiful outside garden bars to both your right and left are lovely. The staff were friendly and helpful and our room was superb and spotlessly clean and super comfortable. Breakfast was amazing, food beautifully presented, well cooked and well presented with friendly and efficient staff. We will definitely return.
We stayed for 6 nights.. and felts at home. *Everyone was so wonderful and attentive: -Be sure to pop i the the pie room and say “hello” to Nox in the pie room- she went out of her way to explain how the pies are made so nice to see them kneed Md mold pies. -My 7 yrs old. He received a well thought color/sticker-book upon arrival and a doll at the end of the stay. -wave to Roy at the. Entrance to the hotel. Cars were parked safely, taxis ordered and arrive within 5 min. -Food- The breakfast at the mirror room were on point. Meat pies were delicious! Breakfast at the restaurant not that good service and taste wise. Fast and great room service. Too bad they did not elicit that the minibar is free of charge- which by the way was packed with top notch alcoholic beverages and organic soft drinks for kids. The tube is litraly 3 min walk around the corner. We will definitely be making this our go to. *** Mind the price, not affordable to all***…
This is our second time staying at Rosewood London. It's a great location with absolutely fantastic service, from check-in to check-out. The concierge staff are second to none (left our theatre tickets in the room, they brought them to us at the restaurant). The staff are all very engaging, very personable and seem genuinely interested in making your stay the best it can be. We highly recommend Rosewood London, wouldn't consider staying anywhere else.
I've booked a few nights at Rosewood London while I was in town. Excellent location, 10-15mins walk to Covent Garden, 3 minutes from tube stop. There's superdrug in the corner if you'd need anything. Room was dated, smart TV does not airplay/mirror. Each floor was like a maze, signage wasn't quite clear/visible. Lack natural light in rooms, rare in London but I'd still appreciate having more windows. To keep it short My uber dropped me off at the hotel entrance. I opened the car door, popped open the trunk, lifted my first luggage, before anyone even initiated help. The whole time there's 2 or 3 guys standing right at the door. Interestingly throughout my stay these gentlemen at the door never extended any greetings or acknowledgement while you're there. Very odd considering they are right at the door and you've to physically walk in between the two of them to get in and out of the property. Check-in took a while. I booked a few consecutive 1-night reservations since I was not sure about the dates I was travelling. Turns out I would have to renew my keys at the front desk every day. Very bizarre to me. I quite often would make reservations like this with uncertain travel schedules, never had this "you'd have to update your key at the counter every day" problem. Went to Scarfes at 10, was told they would close at midnight. Gentleman at the door stopped us and said it's for room guest only. We said we were room guests and he asked again before letting us in. I guess we didn't look good enough for the bar? It wasn't full in the bar and I overheard another couple was also asked the same question. Drinks were good, band was a great vibe. Would recommend the bar, if they let you in that is. Lifts on my floor, when I press on the buttons on one side, the buttons for the lift on the other side of the hallway would lit up the opposite direction. Very confusing. Hallways are quite gloomy, candy bowls in lift lobbies were cute. Housekeeping tried to enter at least twice early in the day throughout my stay. Room service also get out the plates from the hot tray before popping up the table. Afternoon tea was good, great selection of teas if you're into that. Family next to us was offered quite a lot of kids amenities, very considerate.…
We booked four rooms post-cruise for two full days in London and this hotel was fabulous...a highlight of the trip! The rooms are beautifully appointed, quiet and spacious by London standards. We enjoyed breakfast both days and the food was delicious. Centrally located to Regent Street, the Thames, theatres and The British Museum, the Rosewood London is a must-stay hotel!
From the mini te we drive into the courtyard, the rosewood experiences started. From the gentleman who opens the taxi to check in to the rooms, tue check in, concierge. the restaurants, the bar, room service, the very amazing housekeeping. I could go on and on. Probably among the few my best stays till date.
We loved our stay at this hotel. It is super close to the Holbrn Tube station and was easy to obtain a Taxi if needed. Of all the Hotels on our stay, this bed was the most comfortable (obsessed with the sheets) with the largest room. Only odd things were that the iron and board are not in room (needed to call for delivery to room) and any hairdryers/Curling irons needed to be plugged into bedside area as bathroom doesn't support voltage (but I notice typical of some UK hotels), not a big deal for us. Turn down service was lovely, but there does not seem to be a way to easily set a "do not disturb" for the room. Also enjoyed the Bar (very fun cocktails) and had tea in the Mirror Room which had excellent tea/scones/sandwiches but watch out for Champagne add-on as was GBP80 per glass!!!…
Had a week’s stay in July for summer vacation: room was well-appointed and the shower was especially wonderful (both in terms of water pressure, not having to wait for water to get to the right temperature), housekeeping and front desk were helpful with everything we needed. However we had some issues with the safe in our room even after two engineers came to fix it. On 1 or 2 days, the room wasn’t cleaned even though after we asked for it. The hotel is far from Harrods etc but are near some supermarkets - which was nice.
I stayed at the Rosewood Lonon hotel for two weeks in April 2022. It's a lovely hotel with amazing customer service. The building architecture is beautiful, and I felt like royalty every time I entered the courtyard and was received by the hotel staff. I had access to an array of amenities and services, including a spa, restaurants, and a fantastic bar with exceptional creations by director Martin Siska and head bartender Yann Bouvignies. I was fortunate enough to be in town when they changed from their personalities menu to their new menu, and I am happy to say both were excellent. As a solo female traveler, the best part was knowing the hotel staff was vested in ensuring I had a great experience. They were constantly in contact with me every week before my arrival. Every question was answered timely, and when I needed to make day trip arrangements to Paris and other locations, the hotel provided me with contacts that handled all my arrangements, including car services. So by the time I arrived at the hotel, I knew I was in good hands. The staff is very attentive. The location was great too. There are so many things I liked about this hotel. The best thing I can say is that I only want to stay at the Rosewood while in London. I had a memorable experience, and I can't wait to return.…
