Overall, this is a hotel with a great location (across from the Tower of London). It is not a hotel where is it easy to find a taxi, but it is near a Tube station. We stayed at this hotel beause it was part of a tour. The room was fine, and the morning breakfast had a nice variety. The only negative was when we checked in. We were early (which we knew we would be based on our flight). Our room was not ready, but there was a very hard sell for us to upgrade to a room that was available. I had to be quite assertive to get the person to stop pushing me to spend over 200 pounds more. This happened to at least one other couple with the tour.

Very dated rooms and just manageable bathrooms with mold around the bath/shower. The bed was comfortable, pillows were not however. Unfortunately noise from above including slamming doors and scraping furniture meant sleep was interrupted also.

I would like to express my appreciation and gratitude to Kadigia Sahel, the hotel receptionist. As a highly professional, she greeted me in the most wonderful way. Not only she checked me into a great room with the fantastic view, she also added a complimentary breakfast for the duration of my stay and even arranged a bottle of red wine as the hotel present for my birthday. Kadigia is an amazingly friendly, wonderful and energetic person. She is willing to do her best to make your stay pleasant and unforgettable! I will highly recommend the Tower hotel to all my friends and will always mention Kadigia Sahel! Thank you, Yelena.

This hotel has every appearance of being a high-class establishment, but that is a bit deceptive. On the credit side, our room was kept very clean by a wonderful lady from Romania. The downside was that the temperature was showing as 26 deg C (too warm) and this could not be changed. the AC system was unalterable and defunct. This appeared as a common problem throughout the hotel. Their solution was the provision of electric fans for rooms along our corridor. The en-suite bathroom's air extraction system was not working either (with predictable results!) On the TV, of all the available BBC channels only one worked (BBC2). Days and nights were disturbed by the loud banging of bedroom doors (all fitted with restrainers that didn't work). Strangely (for a hotel of this size) the Bar was only open after 5 pm. We used it only once. It had all the charm of a disused warehouse and we were charged £28 for a glass of Chardonnay and a pint of Guinness. We bought them at the bar, and the price charged was greater than that shown on the drinks list. When we queried this we were told there was a Service Charge added. Perversely, the story was that had we sat at a table and been waited on there would have been no Service Charge. That seemed a kind of Alice-in-Wonderland logic. To be fair, all the staff we encountered were wonderful, polite, and helpful, and in response to our various complaints about facilities, we were given a complimentary breakfast for two days; and they were very good breakfasts.

What can i say!! this hotel was our most go to hotel in London, when we go down and stay... But i can say we will not be going again!! The last time we went the staff were so friendly and bent over backwards to help us and make our stay fantastic.... this time it seemed like they could not be bothered!! ...the staff need some training in customer service and manners...its a real shame as its location is fantastic... next to tower bridge, from a customer who remembers as it was 😢

My granddaughter and I had an excellent stay at the Tower Hotel. Staff are excellent, caring and very helpful. Excellent location next to Tower Bridge, what a great view whilst eating your breakfast. Highly recommend booking in for breakfast as there is a wide variety of food to choose from to help you start your day in a good way. Walking distance to Tower of London, Hop on Hop off buses, the Tube and boat rides on the Thames. Rooms are serviced each day and are a nice size to stretch out and relax. I would like to say a big thank you to the Concierges who helped us book our outings for the day, nothing was too much trouble for them and I loved their sense of humour. I would definitely return to the Tower Hotel next time I am back in London.

We absolutely loved staying here, and our view of the Tower Bridge was incredible!! We spent more time in a hotel room than we ever have on vacation, and our friends joined us to enjoy the view as well. We were also grateful that the Velocity restaurant was still open and serving food after 9pm -- not as common as you'd think in London!
