    Fine, but ..
Fine for an overnight stay, but extremely expensive for the quality of accommodation. By comparison, I usually stay closer to Bank, and the accommodation is cheaper (by at least a third), fresher and generally feels better value. The room was tired, with stained carpet, air conditioning that made an horrendous racket all night, and poor pillows. The water pressure from the shower was low, although the shower itself was reasonable, if tight, with oddly low ceilings. Access to the room was circuitous, and not straightforward. In short, nothing to particularly recommend this hotel other than location, if you need to be in the City.
Dear Becassaux, Best Wishes Thank you for staying with us. We appreciate your feedback which will assist us towards betterment. We will address and focus on the concerns raised. For future, you will be glad to know that we have a Manager on Duty available 24/7, had you advised us at the time we would have rectified the issues immediately, for example maybe by offering you an immediate room move. We do hope and look forward to being able to welcome you back soon. Kind regards, Prashant

    Good Hotel, good value
We stayed here for a few nights late Dec, room we were given 217 had a separate bedroom which also has a sofa bed so if you need a room with extra sleeping options as we did then this is a good room. The room was in good condition including the bathroom and it also has a kitchenette which has a sink and microwave plus kettle. Only one issue we had was being woken up about 5am from what sounded like bins being emptied however not sure if this is usual or from any building works nearby? The hotel is positioned in the business district so do consider this as after hours not much is open nearby however, it is close to the Monument and Bank tube stations which are great for any exploring. Between them you have many tube lines at your disposal to visit the major tourist areas such as Westminster etc. I should mention the Leadenhall Market is across the road and there is a Sainsburys up the road too for supplies after hours. It is also good for the Borough Market which is a short walk from the Hotel across London Bridge, the Tower of London and Tower Bridge are nearby also. Overall I would recommend this hotel if you are looking for good accommodation nearer the east end of the city.
Dear Jason T Thank you for staying with us. I'm so very glad that your stay was pleasant overall. I am sorry that you were inconvenienced by the noise from outside. For future you will be glad to know that we have a Manager on Duty available 24/7-had you advised us at the time we would have investigated the situation immediately. Also we have options for rooms at the back of the hotel which may be quieter for some of our guests. We hope to be able to welcome you back soon. With kind regards Prashant

    Average.
Few good and bad points about staying at this hotel unfortunately. Firstly we were given a nice room very bright and airy only to have an issue with the air con system loudly buzzing away… waking us both up at 0630 on a Saturday morning when all you are wanting is a lie in! Then having to move to a another room so having to repack only to unpack again in the new room. The new room not bright and airy at all if anything quite dark and dim with only a small window and the air con system barely working. Very very hot and stuffy room even with air con on full blast and windows open which was a shame. The air con obviously doesn’t work properly in the hotel. We got told our bags and belongings would be moved to the new room automatically so we packed everything neat and tidy crammed it all back into our bags and left them by the door. We went out for a few hours which we told them we were going to do, came back only to explain the situation all over again to another staff member and then having to go back to the old room and move our bags to the new room ourselves which was fine, no issues but just would have been nice to know from the beginning after having been told this was going to be done for us?!? However saying that, the positives are….. A very comfortable bed, great facilities (microwave and fridge in room) excellent free coffee machine downstairs. Nice decor and lovely free toiletries to use if desired. One thing to note though would be the milk sachets as part of the tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms. Neither my partner or I have milk in our drinks we have black tea or black coffee, but the milk sachets were over a year out of date. One went off in 2020 and one in April 2021. So might be worthwhile to check before you use them. No point flagging it up to the reception desk as we don’t use them but I did put them aside date facing upwards away from the tea making facilities, hoping they would notice.

Club Quarters London City is the most run down place I have ever stayed in. Bathrooms are old, plumming and bath amatur are weird. Restaurant was moved into next doors pub. Fitness Center is put in a tiny squezzed room. Equipment does not work properly.

Clean, comfortable, quiet (may depend on room location), no-frills business accommodations. Excellent bed. Very friendly, helpful staff. 10-minute walk to my company's headquarters. Club Quarters on Gracechurch is a few blocks from Bank tube station. Plentiful amenities nearby such as Pret (and similar), Boots, etc. Historic Leadenhall Market across the street is worth a walk-through. Included in breakfast time amenities: Coffee, fruit (bananas, oranges, apples), box juice (cranberry juice blend), Kellogg's Nutrigrain bars (and a few other similar products). Room amenities are very basic: Bar soap, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion; hair dryer; ironing board and iron; instant coffee, carafe for hot water. Paper products (facial tissue, TP) are a bit rough. There is no safe for storage of valuables. I appreciated the water bottle fill station in the elevator lobby of my room floor. Ask hotel staff about the flat rate taxi fare to LHR. In my case, on 2023-09-21, flat rate from Club Quarters Gracechurch to LHR T2 was GBP 95, which provided some peace of mind for a weekday morning commute hour trip to LHR, which (I was told) may take anywhere between 1-2 hours depending on traffic. Taxi driver mentioned that fixed fare to BA terminal is GBP 100. Tip: If you don't have much luggage, consider the tube plus Heathrow Express for a much cheaper option. Note you will encounter tube connection points where you'll need to carry luggage up some stairs. Tip: Request microwave and fridge, if that's important to you. My room didn't have microwave and fridge whereas my colleague's room did for the same room rate.

I was struck by the mixed reviews when deciding which hotel to book. I ended up giving this hotel a shot as despite the price tag, it was still more affordable than the other options in the area. The hotel overall is indeed a mixed bag. The exterior of the hotel looks impressive, but lobby is very dated. I was a bit worried upon arrival. The room was thankfully clean, modern and comfortable. The hotel tries to be efficient by going paperless in their check in process and not providing water in the rooms - they don't even provide a teaspoon in your room. They also don't provide any toothbrush/shaver and you'll have to buy one from a vending machine in the basement if needed. I found this a bit jarring and it felt like a hostel in that regard. They do try to compensate by providing free coffee and snacks in the lobby. I'd rather they just give me a toothbrush if I needed one. As many have noted, the hotel's restaurant is under renovation, but there is an Amazon Fresh, Sainsbury and M&S nearby with plenty of breakfast options you can take back to the room. Should you leave your luggage there and need to change later on before hopping onto the plane, there is a bathroom in the gym where you can do so. In all, I would stay in this hotel again if it turns out to be the best available option at the price point. The staff are friendly and helpful, so it's more about the decisions taken by management that end up giving guests a bit of mixed experience as evidenced by the reviews you see on this site.

No restaurant. The bathroom light didn't work. I called the front desk who said maintenance would take an hour. Someone showed up, confirmed the light didn't work, but also that it couldn't be fixed

This is an expensive hotel for the quality of the accommodation. My room was, at best, tired. It was hot and the air conditioning was noisy all night and didn’t really cool my room. I wouldn’t stay again. I stayed two night (room 408) and my room wasn’t cleaned on day 2 - not attempt to change towels etc. Having said this, the reception staff were always friendly and helpful.

The staff were so helpful and friendly, loved the room and facilities. The family room was sectioned off so there was still some privacy un two separate parts of the room. The additional facilities were great and I loved the water pressure of the shower!

Paid more than £200 for a mid week one night stay. Awful - not any better than a Travelodge. There ought to be much better hotels at similar cost. in desperate need of refurbishment across the entire hotel. And no room service, yet they still ask to charge your card for extras.
