Very basic. 2 small single beds called a double with no space to walk around bed to window.Had to pay for WI FI. Lobby seating torn and old. Average staff. Close to Earls Court tube & Kensington. Lovely area with restored buildings but unfortunately this hotel is not one of them

We stayed for 2 days in a small but clean bedroom with a modern bathroom. Room had no fridge or safe and breakfast was very expensive for continental! Location is good for local shops/restaurants and close to underground. Good value and ok for short stay.

We were so relieved to only have to spend one night in this hotel. The rooms, hallways, bathrooms, and bar area were so small. Three women shared one room and the beds were okay, but it was so small, we had to close our suitcases up and only open them on our beds when we were not in them. It... More

The accommodation was very disappointing. It was nothing like the pictures on their website. We were in room 605. The room needs updating. Carpet was old and dirty so was the furniture in the room. The only nice thing about this hotel is the outside appearance, reception and foyer. Too bad we can't use that space as a bedroom!

The hotel was awful, staff unhelpful due to the lack of understanding basic English, room was tiny and damp smelling, carpets filthy and stained. We chose this hotel as part of a package by Events Travel thinking we were getting a bit of luxury!! Forget that and dont ever book with this company or chose to stay in this hotel. On... More

This hotel is not the type of hotel you want to stay in on a special trip. The room size we were given for $145 was only a foot smaller than the room. No drawer space except open shelving. A desk that can't be used because you can't pull the chair out. You have to pay extra for WiFi ($6.75.day)... More

The hotel is very well-located in central London, near two Underground stations (Gloucester Road and Earl's Court). The room was clean and spacious, as well as the bathroom. The personnel was helpful, polite and very careful. I stayed for 3 nights for my studies and I felt very comfortable! The price-quality ratio is very good! Surely I would recommend it... More

I must have spent 100 nights at this hotel in the past year. Things people need to be aware of, if you haven't got an umbrella (it frequently rains in London) then the hotel will see you one for £15, yes that's correct an eye watering (no pun intended) £15. Check out in the morning but want to leave your... More

Plus: - The hotel is situated at around 400 m from Gloucester Road Underground Station and around 150 m from 74 Bus Stop. - Not far (walking distance from the Museums and Albert Hall). - Variety of restaurants in the area and also supermarkets. - The personal is in general kind and helpful. - Coffee maker in the room. -... Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
