Our stay at Henley House was very Pleasant!! We came off 24 hours of travel and arrived at 730 am. Immediately we were told to help ourselves to the breakfast this was a lovely start!! Roberta at check inn was fabulous and held our bags and off we went. Hotel is clean Location is spot on. We were in a single room which had a lovely balcony but very tiny. A couple of nights I would stay as a maximum

Hotel's Favorite
This hotel turned out exactly as shown in the pictures and was lovely. The location was so convenient to Earls Court tube but tucked around a corner on a lovely sqaure with gardens in the middle - so quiet! The room was spacious and had a balcony. All the ameneties in the room worked. The continental breakfast which came with the room rate was exactly what was wanted. Truly a lovely hotel with friendly staff - I would go again in a heart beat.

This Bed and Breakfast is a gem. It was my birthday and they had a banner, cake and sweet card waiting in our room. Very thoughtful indeed. Although the twin deluxe was small, the hotel thought of everything. There are plenty of USB outlets, a converter, small refrigerator, wonderful bed linens and towels, wardrobe closet (small), ironing board (with iron of course!), and a satisfying breakfast included. Because the rooms are small, I recommend getting the deluxe room size, even for a single traveler. The staff is so kind and cheerful. Great location since it is literally around the corner from the Earls Court tube station. The corner pub, The Blackbird, serves excellent food. We ate there 4 times during our one week stay at the Henley House. The only thing I think they need improvement on is the use of these tiny stools in the breakfast room. They supply absolutely no back support and it's easy to trip over the square base. Having said that, it's still a gem of a hotel. We will absolutely stay here again on our next trip to London.

Recently stayed at the Henley House Hotel in Earls Court in London. I chose this hotel due to proximity to Chelsea Flower Show which we were attending. When we arrived at the property we quickly realised that the images etc. online did not represent the property well. I booked a small double room but was shocked to actually see the room and bed size, the bed being a four foot bed with really only enough room for one. Straight away I asked for an upgrade but was met with a dismissive attitude from the receptionist. We were stuck with the tiny room for 3 nights so decided to make the most of our stay. However, the first morning for breakfast we were met with a very limited breakfast experience and the cheapest of offerings for breakfast. Coupled with this, the staff were limited and looked extremely 'put out' by any requests for assistance for basics like milk for coffee, boiled water for a cup of tea and so on. All in all I would not recommend this establishment for the money charged. I know London is expensive but this was a lot of money for very very little in return.

Small rooms, yet everything necessary for comfort is there. Small fridge, air conditioning, place for luggage, closet for clothes, shower with toiletries, provided. Room made up and cleaned daily. Staff most helpful and pleasant. Quiet for London. Tastefully furnished. Close to Earl’s Court Underground for District, Circle and Piccadilly lines. And last but not least a super continental breakfast.

Great location - very close to Earlscourt tube stop. Easily accessible...but 4 stairs to main level. Continental breakfast was as advertised. Unit was small and compact - but had everything needed. Only complaint - the A/C would shut off after 4 hours...thus it would not stay on overnight.

We had a magical experience. Located in a classically beautiful building and neighborhood in front of a garden with blooming cherry treed and tulips, every other aspect was equally wonderful- kind and helpful staff, very comfortable room, delicious breakfast and an unbeatable location. Sigh. Would love to return there.

This was one of the most horrible experiences of my life. I have been traveling for years and have come to London before. On booking.com Henley House is rated 4-stars but the cleanliness, hygiene and service of the hotel is the worst that I have ever seen. My room had not been cleaned before check-in, and obviously there was no inspection done of the room beforehand. There was urine all over the cistern and the bath-tub, plus lots of hair everywhere (see photos). Immediately, I went to the reception to inform them of the state of my room. and the situation. Instead of offering to change my room, they said they would clean it. I trusted them but when I returned after spending the day outside at around midnight, the bathroom was still dirty - they had cleaned the seat but not underneath the seat of the cistern - so when I lifted it - there were urine stains (see photos). I had to wait till the next morning because no one was available at night. When I spoke to them in the morning - they offered me a 10 pound refund for all the trouble I had to go through. When I refused and asked for a full refund - they said to speak with the manager who had not been available during the entire period of my stay. The receptionist called the manager over the phone who did not bother speaking with me or addressing my concern and rudely said no for any kind of refund or adjustment - needless to say, i did not receive any kind of apology from the manager. I have not seen such poor behaviour, disregard in the hospitality industry after bad service. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone because it's management treats their customers like a joke and is clearly overpriced for the kind of services it offers. Despite being located in one of the best areas of London - it is a shoddily run establishment, that does not maintain basic cleanliness and hygiene and look after its guests. If the toilets were visibly dirty, I cannot imagine the sheets and the towels. I am surprised that the hotel has passed the UK national health inspection standard test.
