I really enjoyed my 10 day stay at Henley House Hotel. From a solo traveller's perspective I felt incredibly safe staying here. The hotel is about a 3 minute walk from Earl's Court tube (very easy connection to Heathrow) and is situated on a quiet...More
Stayed here for a couple of nights with a friend. Modern interior, comfy beds, great breakfast ( lits of choice and friendly service) and lovely quiet street despite being a couple of minutes from Earls court underground station. Would definitely like to return. Good value...More
The main minuses were that my room in the top (4th) floor was tiny, and I had to haul my heavy suitcase up 17 steps. That said, the room has been recently modernised and was almost Japanese in its inventiveness in making use of what...More

With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming
and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.

There is a pub just on the corner that received great reviews from TA but I was never hungry enough to go and eat in though I wish I had. There is a M&S express across the road from the pub. There is a Greggs right across the road from the tube station.
This hotel is totally within walking distance from the tube station. Going the other way are small restaurants, a Starbucks and a bit of a walk away is a Tesco superstore.
On a personal note I have no issues going back.
