    Brilliant Birthday Trip
We came down to visit family and to celebrate. Gary and the other members of staff where absolutely phenomenal. Considering we are here during a global pandemic, the hotel has done its best to cater for us and ensure that everything is sanitised to a high standard. The bar was open until 10pm (the new curfew) and the drinks are reasonably priced. The hotel is the perfect location with the tube station on the doorstep, Tesco, Waitrose, boots etc so it’s easy to nip out and get the essentials if you have forgotten them. Lovely hotel, welcoming staff, would definitely come back again! Just want to say also that Gary is a credit to the hotel, such a lovely, chatty gentleman that instantly makes you feel comfortable from the moment you step foot in the door. Thank you.
Dear ChelseyandSam, Thank you for your recent stay at the Bailey's Hotel London and I would also like to thank you for taking the time to write a fabulous 5 stars review. It is such a pleasure to receive nice and warm feedback and I am delighted to read that you found the hotel location to your convenience. This is what the Baileys Hotel is all about. We pride our selves in excellent customer service. Your feedback will be shared with the team and I am sure Gary and the team will be thrilled to read your review. I hope we have the opportunity to look after you again. Kind regards, Kim Tian, General Manager

    A lovely hotel
We stayed here for three nights at the end of August. The hotel is ideally situated just opposite the Gloucester Road tube station. With COVID the restaurant and bar was not open but we were offered a “bag of breakfast goodies” we declined as there are an array of eateries in the location. The hotel is clean, reception staff very friendly and they have COVID proofed the hotel: interestingly some village idiot aka a guest was shouting at the reception team on one occasion saying the hotel did not comply with government guidelines - pile of nonsense, he just needed a good wash and gain some manners! I would not hesitate to to return here as: 1. Good location 2. Clean hotel room with air conditioning 3. Amazing staff 4. Tube station across the road 5. Complies with government regulations around COVID Well done Bailey’s
Dear Jon, We are honoured to receive such kind words from you. Our staff take pride in all they do and to receive such lovely words as yours provides great motivation for them. They continuously endeavour to surpass our guest’s expectations of service and it is satisfying to hear that these efforts have been noticed. The team and I very much look forward to welcoming you back with us again in the future. Kind regards, Kim Tian General Manager

Rajesh greeted me with a huge smile. My reservation was complicated but Rajesh made sure my stay was easy. Nick helped greet me as well, ask me many questions to make certain my stay was easy. Luibomyr assisted me many times up and down the outer steps with my wheelchair, as did every single staff. The housekeeping was amazing and honored my do not disturb signs. I had never explored Chelsea but this time that is all I did. It was so wonderful and everybody i encountered was absolutely wonderful and helpful, even Magic Mike. This hotel is not well equipped for wheel chairs so i made a few suggestions that would help us differently abled persons navigate: 1. Electric fire doors, 2. An exit out from the hotel that does not require stairs, 3. Identify rooms easily accessible from elevator. However, i was not inconvenienced once with all the assistance I was offered. Thank you so much to the wonderful, kind, helpful people at Bailey’s Hotel, Kensington, London, England.

A lovely stay was had at the Baileys Hotel in the Kensington Area of London. Based on other TA’s reviews, we chose this hotel and it did not disappoint. Our room and bathroom was immaculate. The lifts responded promptly all the way to the fifth floor. The location is hugely beneficial as it is a one-minute walk from the Gloucester tube station. Popular museums and pretty parks nearby. Should you need anything, there is a convenience store across the street. The two concierges, Nick and Gary were awesome. Their advice was appreciated. The hotel photos are accurate. Recommend.

This hotel's appeal to me was that it was next door to a tube station - Gloucester Rd. station. Attached to the station was a nice sized Waitrose and Boots. Also nicely located on a street with a Paul's, Gail's Bakery, Pret-a-Manger, a pub, and a couple of nice Lebanese kebab restaurants. However, do know that this tube station is not step free, so if you've got heavy luggage, you've got to climb a number of steps - a solid workout. Check-in was smooth. I'm a solo traveller in town to visit relatives and take a side trip with my London cousin to Paris. So there was going to be 2 nights where I wouldn't be sleeping in the room. I informed reception of that as an FYI. I upgraded from a single room to a bigger double room. The room was very nice sized for an extra 30GBP per night. I thought it was worth it since I was going to be here for 7 nights. The room had room for me to put my luggage on a stand and to walk around without bumping into furniture. Bathroom was small and tight fitting, but had all the necessities - toiletries, towels, rainfall shower. There was a kettle and tea bags, instant coffee (decaf and caf), and milk. Also had a safe in the room for my passport and slippers - nice touch! I had breakfast in the hotel restaurant for 2 nights. There were decent choices and it really set me up for the day. Only nit-pick I had was that on my second breakfast, the server gave me such weak tea. It wasn't what other people had in their teapots...why was I give such a weak teabag? I sent it back and the server said something like she didn't think I'd like the other tea and thought I wanted that tasteless tea...um...no, I said English Breakfast and that didn't even come close. You can see I'm very serious about my morning tea...lol. It took a while for me to get the replacement tea, and I was already half way through my breakfast. Check-out was smooth and quick. I ordered an Uber, and the doorman was very very nice to help me with my luggage. Overall, this was a good stay and I was well taken care of by the hotel staff. I felt safe in this neighbourhood, and with the station just next door, I never felt out of sorts at night time coming back.

Stayed here prior to a cruise. Lovely older hotel. Well maintained and very clean. Bed and pillows are comfortable, room and bathroom are well lit and towels are thick. Front desk staff is efficient, polite and friendly. In particular, concierge named “Magic” is outstanding. Breakfast is a lovely affair and the staff is excellent, as well. The TV remote failed and we informed front desk when we checked out. We didn’t miss it at all but other guests might. Bailey’s is near 2 of our favorite restaurants, Light of India and DeMario. Stay here when you visit London and enjoy both restaurants.

We needed a hotel room unexpectedly when our flight out of Heathrow was canceled. We found the Bailey's from an online search looking for something close to a tube station. We did get a "classic double" which we found fairly well furnished with a good-sized bathroom. My only complaint about the bathroom is that the tub floor was not at or close to the same level as the bathroom floor. This made it feel slightly awkward (if not unsafe) getting in and out of the shower. Despite that, the hotel was very clean and had an elegant charm about it. We did have dinner at the Singapore-inspired restaurant which we found very good as well, although the waitress did not take much time to explain the portion sizes or what would make a complete dinner experience.

We would highly recommend the Bailey's Hotel. Rajesh was so helpful in making sure that we had a corner street view room which was lovely and had great windows for light. We stayed in a luxury double room including breakfast for 5 nights. Our daughter's family of 4 also had a luxury room with 2 double beds with a street view for 3 nights. The breakfast buffet was outstanding and you could order omelets and hot chocolate also. The breakfast room was elegant. There was a water station in the lobby and water bottles in the room as well. The location is excellent being across the street from the Gloucester Rd tube and near the Tesco Grocery, Starbucks, and the Hereford Arms. We were able to walk to the Victoria and Albert Museum and Kensington Gardens from the hotel also.

Wonderful staff, very supportive, and assisted with great sightseeing advice. The hotel has all the charm of a time gone by and has been updated with modern amenities. There are things that are worn and in need of replacement. However, Rajesh and Samson made everything work perfectly. Ramesh and Samson, I cannot say enough wonderful things because they resolved every issue or question we had, they are amazing! Also, the doormen were super nice and so helpful.

We booked the superior luxury double room, supposedly spacious and luxurious. Sadly that was not the case. I did do a feedback and told them but no one got back to me. We paid a lot of money for the three nights. They just don’t want to know!

Fantastic stay with family. Staff were very service oriented, brought up our bags and responded promptly to any requests such as for water bottles or extra towels. Excellent location for transportation via tube. Lovely boutique hotel with an old world elegance. Because of its age, some things will not be perfect as they would be in a modern build. So floors may seem slightly off, the bathroom layout may be slightly odd. But overall those are minor for the charm and value.
