This hotel is a beautifully renovated Victorian London townhouse, located in the heart of fashionable South Kensington. The Bailey's Hotel London combines style and character, and is one of the most traditional and popular hotels in the area. The hotel has completed refurbishment of all guest rooms in October 2015. Quintessentially English in décor and style, the rooms have been designed with the comfort of our guests in mind, and combine unique features and furnishings with modern amenities. The interior of the hotel is extremely elegant and retains many of its original features, with its sweeping staircase, stained glass windows and intricate stonework. Situated opposite Gloucester Road underground station, this hotel offers access to many transport links and is perfectly positioned for guests visiting many of the British capital's most popular attractions. These places of interest include Hyde Park, the Royal Albert Hall, Kensington Palace and the Victoria and the Victoria& Albert Museum.

My staying in the hotel was wonderful. My room was big, modern, very clean and cozy. The bed is big and very comfortable. The location is excellent, near the tube station Gloucester Road, very easy to reach an each area of London. The most important to say about very professional and friendly staff of the hotel: in these so non-easy times Kim manages to hold a such big hotel in order, very clean and safe. I want also to thank Gary: he makes so much for the guests and always with jokes and smile. All people need this now!!! And it's so pleasant to stay in the hotel with such a big and rich history!!! Thank you, James Bailey, that you built this beautiful hotel in the centre of London more than 140 years ago!

Wonderful, elegant, spacious and very comfortable hotel, in excellent central London location, next to Gloucester road station, with easy access to all necessary amenities. Everything one could want, along with professional, flexible, responsive management, doing their very best to take into account one's individual needs. Stayed on previous occasions and happily stay again, in the future. Recommended.

I was made to feel so welcome from my arrival at the front desk, where Derya gave a detailed explanation of the hotel and it's amenitites that were available during lockdown in London. The staff at this hotel simply cannot do enough for you and it actually feels more like staying with friends or family than a hotel. The bar is well stocked (great cocktails), and old school style. The food in the hotel is also excellent. A short walk from Hyde Park and a slightly longer walk from most of the main London attractions.
