Detailed Reviews
This used to be a really luxurious hotel, but now it seems a bit tired (and over priced). The room was a good size for me, my husband and my 12 year old son (with a comfy sofa bed for him). Bathroom door was an ill fitted sliding wardrobe door.
Latch on door fell off over night. The whole place needs a refurb.
Little things could have been improved. We were 3 guests.. so please provide 3 bath towels, 3 waters etc.... We had to play hunt the power points as these seemed hidden in the room.. and finally found location under a table...Staff were void of personality, and the check in experience was basically non existent - Staff seem really uninterested in their guests. Also, I was disappointed to be charged a service fee when getting a drink from the bar!! Good points: Location is great. Bed was comfy, Shower powerful and breakfast offered a nice variety.

Dear Sazfr, Thank you for staying at the Millennium Hotel London Knightsbridge and for taking the time to share your experience. Having received such positive feedback recently regarding the Front Office team, it is always disappointing when a guest does not feel they are being welcomed. We strive to provide outstanding and consistent service to all our guests and I apologise this was not the case on this occasion. I greatly appreciate your comments about aspects of the room that need updating. It is a pleasure to announce that we will be implementing many of these upgrades to the property within the next couple of months Should we have the pleasure of you visiting us again, we look forward to welcoming you back and redeeming ourselves. My partner and I stayed for 1 night in a superior plus room.
The room was lovely and spacious with a balcony with outside seating (not the weather to enjoy in December).
The heating in the room was easy to control and worked quickly and effectively.
We both had a comfortable sleep, and enjoyed the cooked breakfast.
For a hotel charging those rates however, some aspects are in need of a refresh.
The bathroom had cracked and damaged wall tiles and the silicone around the sink was in dire need of replacing. The door out on to the balcony had seen the best of its years in another decade. Not what you would expect from a 4-star hotel in Knightsbridge.
That said it didn`t ruin our stay and we would recommend to friends and family.

A lot to digest? Read an AI-generated summary of recent traveler reviews.
The Millenium Knightsbridge has two impressive things in its favor: (1) the location on Sloane Street provides superbly convenient easy walking access to Harrads and myriad luxury stores; (2) the included breakfast was simply amazing, with generously diverse offerings in a lovely dining room. The downsides: the rooms are very small, with tiny bathroom. The drapes were coming down. The carpets were old and filthy. We had to call Front Desk 2-3 times for any issue to be resolved. Worse, the A/C has ancient controls and our room was always very hot and stuffy. Finally, be specific in asking what size bed is in the room; we got a standard room which has a full size, not even a Queen, for two adults. Did not make for comfortable sleeping for our 2 night stay. Staff attirude was perfunctory. We loved the location and the breakfast, but the overall vibe was mediocre.

My mother and I were planning on staying here for 4 nights during a visit to London. The first room we were given was extremely noisy, so we asked to change rooms. They informed us that they did not have any rooms available with 2 beds for that night, but if we wanted to stay in a room with a “king bed” (it was a double at best) for that night and move to a room with 2 beds the following day, we could do so. We opted to go with that option. The next day we were moved to another extremely noisy room, so we requested to change again. We went down to the reception desk, where the manager, Amir, was and requested the change. He was rude right off the bat and was extremely unwilling to help. It became clear after seeing him interact with other guests that were men, that it was because we were women. He continued to be extremely rude, unhelpful, and misogynistic. I made a comment to my mother about his behavior and he proceeded to demand an apology and refused to give us a key to the room that contained all of our belongings until I apologized. We collected our belongings and booked a different hotel. When we went downstairs and asked for a refund for the additional 3 nights we were supposed to stay because of the unsafe conditions we were now in. Amir proceeded to act like child, refusing to speak to us or make eye contact, and pretending as if we did not exist. If you are a woman do not stay here, it is not a safe environment and clearly management has preferences over the type of clients they are willing to service.
In addition to that heinous encounter, the rooms were extremely outdated and shabby. Wires were taped to keep them functioning, the sheets were piling, and there was mold in the tub and rust on the towel rack.
We moved to the Lime Tree hotel and it was so lovely and in the same general area. The staff was kind, attentive, and most importantly, not prejudice. Stay at the Lime Tree instead!

From the outside, the Millennium Hotel London Knightsbridge looks like a run-down dump that hasn't been renovated for many years.
When you enter the entrance hall, you are greeted by a friendly luggage service. The staff at the reception are more or less superficially friendly, but always need a supervisor to solve problems.
The room was small, the breakfast was good. And the location in London was quite convenient.
In the hotel booked through Eurowings Holidays, however, we had such bad experiences with the hygiene, room maintenance and cleanliness of the air conditioning that it resulted in severe allergic reactions. In the last 30 years, I have never experienced such a dusty room and such a negligent, sometimes completely or partially missed cleaning service. Sometimes the room wasn't cleaned at all, sometimes just the bathroom, sometimes not at all. Now and then there was no toilet paper, etc.
The furniture was covered in dust, which was not removed despite complaining three times, and it was even worse when you opened a cupboard. There was a thick layer of dust on the minibar.
The air conditioning is the only way to heat the room, it has obviously not been maintained for a very long time, in any case we got a bad, long coughing fit after it was switched on. As a result, we preferred to sit in a room that was too cold from then on.
The windows had not been cleaned for a long time.
In the breakfast room there were shelves with decorative items that were also thickly covered in dust, and there were some leftover food in the niches of the barriers.
There was a large construction site in front of the house, the stone drills were in operation from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
All in all, we can only strongly advise against this hotel!

Great location is the primary benefit of staying at this slightly dated boutique hotel on Sloane Street sandwiched between a huge Gucci store and a stones throw from Hyde Park, Harrods and Knightbridge Station. I loved it for this reason plus the low key nature of the staff ie they leave you in peace. I wouldn't necessarily stay here for a special occasion, more as a great base to explore this side of London.
I stayed up on the 14th floor which was quiet and the view was spectacular, in fact I left the blinds open the first night so I could wake up to that view across London. Yes the room could do with an injection of modern to it, but in a way..I also liked this. I stay in so many hotels that have adopted a hotel generic uniform hotel look, that I found the gilt epgyptian looking lamps and the brown pieces of furniture quite old school and oddly comforting. The bed and bedding was very comfortable and the room quietly made up every day again with no fuss, all low key as if no one had ever been there.
Breakfast was a buffet with all of the usual things you expect to see there, I am not a huge breakfast person so I don't get too excited about this meal but I enjoyed the mini croissants and fruit and coffee. I tried the cooked breakfast one morning which was good enough, wouldn't win the breakfast awards but I enjoyed it.
I was on crutches for the stay so had room service rather than hobble outside and I liked the Chinese restaurant option which is quite unusual for a hotel. Nice singapore noodles and soup and had a couple of items from the other menu too which was also nice.
For me, this is the type of hotel I like...old school, low key/discreet, good sleep and great location.
I would 100% return.

Absolute disaster from check in to check out. Old hotel with staff who seem incapable of executing basic functionalities of their job. From not being able to find my reservation, even with the confirmation time, to old mattresses and pillows that lacked support, to room service lack of quality and significant "additional fees" being tacked on to each order, to not being able to have cabs ready and making me walk with a lot of luggage to the next block to be able to get a ride to the airport, it was an experience that was not worth the price of the room. I highly recommend you choose alternate accommodations.

Yasmin at reception and the manager I think they where very helpful I appreciate their excellent service
Housekeeping: First one housekeeping staff entered the room without knocking the door without my permission and 2 minutes before I wasn’t covering my body this is not acceptable at all, second how i know he is really a staff ?! I didn’t see a uniform, third: his English was poor he couldn’t explain to us that he is a housekeeper I didn’t feel save in this hotel after that.
And guess what; the label(DO NOT DISTURB) was there !!!
(let’s say a rational person, a person with ethics should know this without training)
We are paying too much for a very very old hotel not worth it, everything in the room is very old even the carpet is not clean I walked with my white socks on the carpet for less than 1 minute and it turned to a dirty socks!! Plus the dust it triggered my sinus allergy quickly , one light wasn’t working , the first room they gave us once we used the toilet it broke immediately!! How dangerous is this!!
The door hinges of the cabinet was unfixed also the curtains were not fixed and hard to open and close, again dust on it that when you close or open it triggered the allergy.
They even stingy!! Paid much and providing only 1 bottle of water a day!! Have to call and order.
When they changed the phone device they even didn’t attached the dial label.
Another thing: we were a couple so a double room with 2 twin beds locked together is not nice at all the area at the midd of the bed can’t be used so no different if we slept separated on 2 beds, as has been told that this is the only option as their room are designed to be flexible!!

Whenever we travel to London for the weekend we always stay at this hotel due to the location and great value for money. The staff are ALWAYS extremely helpful and attentive when checking in. There is a friendly atmosphere and always a smile from the check in desk. On the last two occasion we have visited the service we received has always been exceptional. This time we were greeted by Navneer, Payal and Mahmoud who gave fantastic customer service.

Arrived in London and checked into the hotel. The location is incredibly convenient, making it easy to access all the attractions and restaurants in the area. The counter service staff, Jagruti, was exceptionally helpful and patient, which made the check-in process smooth and pleasant. The hotel is also one of the best-priced options in this area, making it a great value for the money. After settling in, I ventured out to explore the city and enjoyed a lovely evening.
The hotel has truly been a comfortable and convenient home base for my adventures. The impeccable service from Jagruti and the affordability of the hotel have made it an easy choice for my future visits to London. I'm already looking forward to returning and creating more cherished memories in this incredible city.
Overall, my trip to London has been nothing short of amazing. The hotel's prime location, excellent service, and affordability have significantly enhanced my travel experience. I can confidently say that I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting London. Until next time, London!
