My husband and I stayed at the Mandeville Hotel during Christmas and had a great time. The reception staff were all very polite, friendly and helpful. Our room was nice, and comfortable, and the cleaning service is done daily. The hotel location is perfect, just around the corner from St Christopher's place with all the fabulous cafes, restaurants, and shops... More

The hotel is located in the city center, within a walking distance of Oxford Street. The rooms are clean, well equiped and modern. Breakfast buffet was also very good. I definitely recommend this hotel and will come back again!

The Mandeville Hotel's best features are its friendly and welcoming front desk staff and its location - with Marylebone high street and the farmers' market on a Sunday morning a short stroll away. Mayfair, Hyde Park and Soho slightly longer but all still extremely convenient walks to the south. The rooms are clean, modern and comfortable, if on the smaller... More

Am writing this from my room. I was first staying in their most basic room which was quite small with a tiny bathroom-only a tub. I upgraded to a larger room still on the second floor and the bathroom was better with a separate tub and shower. Free wifi was excellent throughout the hotel. Breakfast was good though a bit... Great location near oxford street. Variety of cafe , pub and restaurants near by, very popular area for evening beer. Tube near by. Room ok. Good bed. Nice and clean bath. Aircondition is noisy. We didn't try the food.

we arrived very early due to attending a course in London and the receptionist at check in didn't seem to know what they were doing and it took a long time to check both us and our luggage in. Once we returned to the hotel after lunch to collect the room keys we were asked for ID and then given... More

Let's say I'm compelled to write this review right now. Been here for one night so far and I'm dreading the rest of my stay. When I checked in I expected someone nice and helpful but I was attended by a very stern receptionist who was the very brief and not so friendly. She did her job and that's it.... More

Rooms need updating. Single glasing therefore loud from the outside. Superior double on the small side, especially the bathroom. Staff very friendly. Restaurant and bar good. Good location. Good breakfast possibilities on Marelybone High Street outside/opposite hotel if you don't want breakfast in the hotel

I strongly recommend the Mandeville Hotel. Highly professional staff in every department, very clean, superb food and a great central location. Nothing was too much trouble from any member of staff, they made our weekend memorable and actually quite special, I would like to thank them all - just brilliant.

Staying in Marylebone

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
