I was in need of a central London hotel at the last minute and found this gem. Fantastic location, beautiful room, great view out of my window, and the most wonderful friendly staff. Would stay again!

I stayed at the Mandeville for 4 nights and chose the hotel based on location. As you walk in, it’s very clear how dated the hotel is and how it hasn’t been done up probably since the mid 2000s. The reception area and hallways are exceptionally clean and they have taken covid measures too. The room I stayed in which was upgraded from a standard double to a deluxe, this rate also included a free full English breakfast. The room was tiny. It made me really wonder how minuscule the standard double was! The room was clean, but like the reception area was dated. The air conditioning would randomly turn on and off throughout the day despite me turning it off, the noise was incredibly disruptive and caused me to have pretty bad sleep. The mattress and pillows felt cheap and were not supportive. The biggest issue Near the bedroom is that there is only one plug on one side of the bed. Room service is incredibly overpriced and the menu was totally uninspiring and they will charge you a £5 “delivery” fee, I think this is them taking advantage of covid where restaurants are closed. The breakfast I got varied the two times I had a full English, the amount of food, the items on the plate - zero consistency. The staff were pleasant. I’d say avoid this place and head somewhere much nicer.

Stayed 3 nights. Arrived and greeted by warm and welcoming staff. I cannot fault anything in this elegant luxury boutique hotel and the top quality of staff. Fortunate to be upgraded to a Riviera room, transported to 3 nights of luxury and immaculate spotless housekeeping. Dining experience at Reform Social was remarkable with excellent service from all staff and even going of their way to whip up drinks not on the menu. Excellent Covid-19 industry standards making it a safe environment at all times. Can’t wait to return for another stay and still look on my October experience with such fond and feel good memories

A very good hotel at the best location. Just steps from Oxford Street and Selfridges, and a few minutes walk from Soho and Hyde Park. Not far from metro station, although I’d rather walk- museus are also not that far. With several great restaurants nearby, the only thing missing is a gym and a spa, so I could get a back rub after carrying my shopping bags and a treadmill to burn my extra calories.

Our family of five (two teens and one toddler) were delighted to enjoy a wonderfully pleasant and relaxing 4 night stay in the Mandeville Hotel. The location is perfect. Within walking distance of the major attractions in the West End, in the calm and elegant tranquillity of Marylebone. The staff at the Mandeville Hotel are absolutely welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us. It was a cinch to unload our luggage, into the hands of the concierge Ian, who kindly whisked our bags to the 8th floor, where we found our bedrooms. Thanks to the amazing Lidia, on reception, we enjoyed a double upgrade to interconnecting suites. Lidia and Ian also arranged a really nice birthday surprise for us, with balloons and cake. Ian also kindly picked up flowers on his way to work. All the staff were so friendly and welcoming. The food in the restaurant was varied, generous and delicious, and we were spoilt for choice for breakfast. We also enjoyed room service, and the staff obligingly took away the dishes afterwards very promptly. The staff in the restaurant, bar and room service were extremely helpful and obliging, and the service was very quick. Every day the bedrooms and bathrooms were cleaned beautifully, and the beds made immaculately. The rooms were luxurious, spacious, pleasantly decorated with a nice view from the windows, and we all slept very well. The TVs also had a good range of channels including foreign language channels. There are various parking options nearby, with the underground parking at Q-park being particularly secure. We very much hope to visit the Mandeville Hotel again in the near future. Thank you to all the staff at the Mandeville. Sushma, Ian, Lidia, Elias, Ken, Audrius and ALL the other staff, without exception, for a perfect five-star customer experience from such a friendly, professional and service-oriented team. I can honestly say that if you are looking for a place to stay in London, then stop searching and book the Mandeville. The Marylebone neighbourhood has a lot to offer. So much so that we regretted not spending 5 nights. The hotel is only a short walk from Marylebone High Street and beautiful Regents Park, wetlands, Japanese and rose garden. Great food locally including Fischer‘s Vienna Bistro for cake and hot chocolate, 2-Veneti for Venetian fish and pasta, Crazy Pizza with its 12-inch ultra thin crust pizzas, and Honest Burgers. Daunt Books is an amazing book shop. Very convenient shopping on Oxford, Regent and Bond Street. Selfridges, John Lewis and Zara are particularly close. Relaxing and enjoying a coffee in the elevated gardens at Brown Hart Gardens. We also enjoyed walking through Mayfair, to Park Lane and Hyde Park, and Grosvenor Square and Berkeley Gardens. to Fortnum and Masons, Green Park, Buckingham Palace and St James Park.
