The London Marriott Hotel Regents Park garners praise for its cleanliness and modern atmosphere, with many guests enjoying the pristine facilities and the hotel's convenient location near metro stations and attractions. The amenities, including a well-kept gym and pool, also receive positive attention. However, some guests have faced issues with room maintenance and noise, and service experiences vary from exceptional to disappointing. Despite the comforts offered, a number of travelers question the hotel's value, finding it overpriced.

Absolutely shocking - manager at 16.00 on 25th Feb said his name was James - honetly the worst manager I have ever encountered in hospitality. The hotel downgrades guests from a Junior Suite to a room with sofa bed which is on sale for £300 less. They say you pay the additional £300 for the included breakfast and terrace. Reservation confirmation said 40 Metres squared, room was 26 metres squared - the advisor answering the phone said it was a separate living and sleeping area (James refused to give this advisor's name for the purposes of this review) - the hotel lies and quietly downgrades customers - see previous reviews on here confirming that. "James" was incredibly rude, hung up, said "don't call back" and said to take it up with expedia. The room was tiny - we took a video which we will share in escalation, it is a box of a bathroom - nobody can call it a suite. Without doubt the worst customer service I have ever encountered. Luckily expedia have agreed to refund the difference and moved us to a cleaner, better hotel but the Marriott Regents Park should really be avoided until they sort out their management team and their use of the word "Suite".

We had the best stay at this hotel as a family of four. Our room was so spacious, cleaned daily and all items were replenished. The buffet breakfast was the best we ever had. Dinner in the Italian restaurant was superb. The pool and gym were an added bonus. The staff were so friendly and professional. We highly recommend a stay at this hotel.

Room was spacious we had a family room 2 double beds and didnt feel cramped was on the 2nd floor there were building works going on over the road but wasnt to noisy. Would definitely return.

I am a frequent traveler and a Marriott Titanium elite member. I will preface my review, as I usually do, by stating that I rate hotels based on the brand and its expectations. This was my second trip to the London Marriott Regents Park and once again, I was pleasantly surprised at our stay. The hotel is situated a little more than a block away from the Swiss Cottage Tube stop. It was easy for us roll our luggage from the tube to the hotel (the only exception being the set of stairs from the station to the street. Our check-in process was good. We did have to wait for our room a bit, but we were provided access to the executive lounge (as a titanium elite member). We did get an upgraded room (without having to use an NUA) which was very nice and spacious. The food and drinks at the executive lounge were good and we also quite enjoyed the extensive breakfast buffet. The hotel is a little less than a mile to Camden Market and it's a bit farther than a mile to the zoo. If you don't mind the distance, they are both very enjoyable and safe walks. We needed the exercise, so we walked to Camden Market. You could also easily take a bus or taxi just outside the hotel. Its also an easy walk to Abbey Road studio (also about a mile), if you head in the other direction. The area around the hotel is nice. It is mostly residential. There are some convenience stores nearby and various shops, especially if you walk north up Finchley road (past the Swiss cottage pub and tube stop). We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return to this hotel.

This hotel gives Marriott a bad name. From their refusal to allow our son into the room before we arrived even though his name was on the reservation, to their refusal to acknowledge any issue with that, to the noise from the other rooms at a very early hour in the morning to the failure to make up our room all day despite having a sign on the door requesting service, it was abysmal. We used to live nearby and now I know why we never heard about it or had it recommended to friends. This is a lousy hotel and is also very, very overpriced. The taxi stand was the only good thing I can say for it.

Dear Guest Thank you for sharing your feedback from your recent stay with us. I am really sorry that the hotel was not able to fulfill your special day request when you checked in to the room, I will need to follow up with my team as to why this was note alerted earlier. We apologise for the disappointment, we would never want any of our guests to have a bad experience and we once again apologise for leaving a bad impression during your time with us. In regards with the room cleaning, I have passed on your comment in regards to this to our housekeeping leaders to look into this matter and also to ensure situations as such do not occur as our guests comfort always comes first and this is below our standards. Once again, I apologize for any frustration or discomfort these issues may have caused. We value your feedback, and it is through such communication that we can improve our services. My hope is the next time you are in the area you will give us another chance to provide the customer service we strive to deliver. Should you wish to stay with us in the future, do send me an email and I will ensure you have a memorable stay with us. Best Regards Sachin Padmanabh

We stayed almost a week at this hotel as we discovered London. We initially thought we are a bit outside of the city, but we realized this was a much better place to be within the residential area away from the crowded touristic areas but still very close with the tube to anywhere we wanted. The hotel is well maintained and very clean. The room was very spacious compared to London hotel standards. We could fit a king bed and a sofa bed quite comfortably and still had plenty of space. We initially chose this one as they accept traveling pets, but then we could not bring our pet due to the UK limitations on international pet travel. It was however still a great experience with great service by the hotel staff. Highly recommend.

The hotel is very conveniently located just a short walk from the Swiss Cottage tube station which, in turn, is just three stops away from the famed Oxford Street. As for the hotel itself, it's a modern building with an on-site restaurant, gym, swimming pool and lounge. Parking is available also. The rooms are well designed but rather dusty which the housekeeping team could tend to better. The bathrooms are compact which isn't that much of an inconvenience but for the fact that the ventilation is pretty much non-existent. Service was erratic to say the least which I put down to the fact that the staff kept changing so frequently, one could not catch the same person twice. This meant that ownership to any type of request made was lost in the abyss. At times, it almost seemed as though both the management and staff required managing themselves. Nontheless, we made the most of our stay and would pick the hotel again but, hopefully by then, everything will be running much smoother.

We were in London to celebrate the other halves birthday, so we stayed here for a couple of nights as it is easy to get from the centre of town on the Bakerloo /Jubilee Lines. Check in was easy and straight forward, with the reception staff being hospitable and sociable at all times. The room had been refurbished and all the furnishings were in excellent condition. The aircon worked well and kept the room at the right temperature throughout our stay, without any excess noise. The room and bathroom were both spotless providing a high standard of housekeeping. The room is of a modern design with full T&C facilities with some nice biscuits. The bed was large and of the expected "Marriott" comfort, providing two excellent nights of sleep. There is a safe in the room. The bathroom is "compact" to say the least, however, it does the job with a nice big walk-in shower with a complete suite of L'Occitane products. A nice touch was that on the Sunday evening there were mince pies and mulled wine on the front desk, really set the spirit for the festive period. This was our second visit here and I’m sure it will not be our last as it is great for a few days in London.
