Everything was great from the room to the 24/7 club lounge to the restaurant. The room was spotless. The only complaint is that the "Premium" internet that elite guests get was only 15Mbps. That's barely usable.
My first stay in many years at the Marriott Regents Park. what a pleasant surprise. The hotel seems to be fully booked but still service is excellent and very generous. Rooms are specious and the one i got facing King Henry’s Rd has a beautiful view of London and very quite. Room was cleaned to a very high standard, good water pressure in the shower though it is top floor. Very generous breakfast, nice executive lounge with most friendly and kind team working extra hard but still very friendly and willing to accommodate any request. Benedetta was exceptionally helpful and easy to spot that it is very important for her to keep guests happy. What a nice attitude to have. Marriott should be proud of having such a team member. Gym is well equipped and comfortable. A good word and many compliment to Lydia Schulz of taking care of my booking and being so helpful, kind and considerate. Answer to all of my requests was positive be it late check out, extra bath amenities, keeping deliveries etc ( and i admit to be very difficult guest to please …) Nice to see a Marriott property that honors Ambassador members’ benefits in such nice, generous and kind manner. You gain quite rightfully my trust My stay exceed any expectations and no doubt i will be back soon.…
This place is okay, not great. Certain elevators wouldn’t stop on certain floors and you would have to get off on the wrong floor then take the stairs to your floor. Staff were informed of the problem but it wasn’t fixed our entire stay (over a week). They rent out the pool so half of it is always in use by a swim instruction company and there are limited “reservation spots” for guests to pre-reserve pool time; even when it was a record breaking heat wave in London they made no exception! Worst of all, I paid 11 GBP extra PER NIGHT online on the Marriott website for a rate that said “daily breakfast”. At check-in they told me that breakfast wasn’t included in my rate and I could purchase daily breakfast for an extra 20 GBP per day for the two of us. Really? Either the Marriott website was wrong or the hotel was wrong but, either way, I was forced to pay twice for breakfast and nobody at Marriott seems to care when I bring this up to them. By the way, breakfast is exactly the same thing every day so you definitely get tired of having the same thing for a week. The food is fine but they could offer at least a little variety over the course of a week.…
Great hotel. staff very welcoming and polite. Foyee very clean Room looks clean and welcoming bed very comfortable but they do need to replace there duvets as you can see the light through them and the down that is in them is clumped. There is a large step onto the balcony need to put a warning regarding this Great shower ensuite beautifully clean and bright. But a little to warm in there Lack of tea bags and milk phoned down they said they would send some up but never got any so could not make a drink. Restaurant wonderful food fir the evening out of this world. Breakfast outstanding with lots of choice
Well located hotel, easy walk to tube, good service , well equipped fitness room, M club well stocked. Had an issue checking in, but was resolved quickly and was upgraded. Will definitely return , enjoyable stay
Stayed for several nights with family (had two rooms). Rooms are of good size and generally in good shape but front desk is disorganized and really frustrating to deal with. Property is weathered and not in good shape; they have done some superficial reno's in the lobby but core is very dated. Good location - close to swiss cottage tube. Rooms are really dry/air flow not great. Overall mediocre
I stayed for 2 night for 4 people very comfortable big and cleaning room and every staff are so kind and helpful especially Miss Ann Im so impressive such a lovely hotel we’ll be back again next time! 🌟
Having Stayed at this Hotel for many many nights in the last few years, the steady decline in levels of service in the last 12months is astounding! The staff turnover is massive, there is a constant new stream of Reception staff that have no idea what they doing. It’s a continuous battle to get your points and nights awards with Marriott. The Housekeeping isn’t good, you have to beg for your room to be cleaned, then it’s done half hearted! It’s time that Marriott pays some attention to the complaints and rectifies the situation.
Stayed for 3 nights lovely hotel, we had one room which slept 4, plenty of room, tea, coffee, fridge, in room, had breakfast in hotel was good choice but was expensive but easier than having to look for somewhere to eat, so close to bus and tube was ideal, zoo 15min walk was ideal for our trip
Pros: 1. Fantastic location just a few minutes walk away from Swiss Cottage tube station (13mins to Central London), Primrose Hill, and Regents Park 2. Located on a main road, but noise is minimal 3. Our suite was super spacious and had tons of places to work 4. East-facing rooms on the upper floors have an amazing view of the entire city 5. Friendly and welcoming staff 6. Decent value for money Cons: 1. The "patio" in our room was inaccessible and didn't look much like a patio anyway, more like a rooftop HVAC storage area 2. Pool was too small for the size of the hotel and was constantly full of people 3. Maintenance needs to be improved, wear and tear was very visible 4. The one restaurant in the hotel only serves Italian options, so if that's not your thing you have to go off site…
