The hotel is in a very good location with the tube and madame tussaudes a five minuite walk away. Plenty of bars and restaurants very near and within walking distance of the west end. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The staff are very helpful and friendly and check in and out is so easy. We will definatley stay here again.
We arrived in London on an early train from Paris and went straight to the Holmes Hotel where we had a room booked for one night. Although our room wasn't ready, which I expected since we arrived at 9:30 am, the staff was very accommodating and allowed us to hang out in the lobby (they actually had 2 beautiful lobbies with fireplaces and super comfy chairs). They allowed us to store our bags while we explored and visited Madame Tussauds (just around the corner!). When we came back just before lunch, they offered the entire family free drink tickets to have a drink on them while we waited. And that is all before we even checked into our room! Once we arrived in our room (which they allowed us into around 1:30, with no additional fee) we were so pleased with the size of the room and the comfort of the bed. They gave the kids a scavenger hunt to complete to find delicious macrons in the fridge. What a treat! The breakfast was included with our package, and it was absolutely delicious, and very generous. The staff was incredibly friendly at every turn and very accommodating to any need we had. I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel and I would stay here again in a heartbeat if we ever make it back to London.…
Was looking for accommodation last minute in Marylebone and chanced upon this gem of a find! Everything I love in a boutique hotel: quirky, cosy, elemental (pun intended) design aesthetics, in my fave hood, so convenient and moreover reasonable! After a long journey, my stay was made even more special from top notch service from Danial, the Manager and Ash at Reception. Leading me to even upgrade my room for my 9 night stay! All my friends who visited me and my rooms loved it too! Will definitely return! THANK YOU Izlyn
This hotel is amazing! I stayed here the night before our wedding, used the room to get ready with my bridesmaids and then myself and my husband stayed here together the night of the wedding. We were upgraded to an amazing suite upon check-in and were gifted bottles of prosecco as a congratulations. The staff were very accommodating and responded immediately to every little request we had during our stay. The breakfast in bed was delicious, the bed comfortable and the robes and toiletries lovely. Highly recommend and thank you to everyone for making our stay so memorable.
We enjoyed staying here as a family. Clarissa at the reception helped us map out a room that would be better suited than the one we had originally booked. She and the staff took excellent care of us during our whole stay. The hotel is located very nicely in an area you as a guest could see yourself wanting to live permanently. Great for walks. Madame Tussauds right around the corner. Sure, I've stayed at hotels that have been more fancy ( and more pricey too), but yet it has a sense of charme that more than compensates. Comes recommended!
The moment you walk in you know this place is special. The check in process was quick and seated at a table. The lobby has multiple spaces for you to spread out and enjoy all themed to sherlock holmes. The gym is well decorated and appointed. Basically this hotel has a great attention to detail. The rooms were much smaller than expected. with a small window hidden behind thick decorative curtains. There was not much space to place the luggage and walk around. The rooms are New York small. If you stay a night or two it is fine but any longer and you will likely feel cramped in their standard room. This hotel is hard to define. I loved the little no fog mirror, the plush bathrobe and slippers, the attention to detail. I didn't like that there was 2 bugs in my room and how small it was. The elevators are also in an awkward spot by the restaurant and far from the check in desk. overall though it was a great 1 night stay in a unique hotel.…
I booked an upgraded room for I knew I'd need to spend some time in my room for work. It was a deluxe room, and it was spacious and beautiful. The only enmity they miss is a box of tissues. Other than that all was crisply clean and really really lovely! The bathroom is tiny, and won't give the privacy one needs (if you need), but as I was staying alone it was perfect. All felt very clean, and the bed was heaven, with the most pleasant sheets ever. The staff were all so very nice! some were exceptionally nice. The location was a little bit far from where I like to be, but still quite nice, close enough to Oxford street and Hyde park.
Our stay was very good, comfortable and welcoming.Beautifully designed and planned.Very good breakfast with a flexibility, while ordering food.I would like to especially commend Alberto, from the restaurant and Ashel from the reception. We will deffinitely be back!
I stayed in four different hotels during my last visit to London and Holmes Hotel was by far the best! The rooms are very chic and modern, and the staff are exceptionally kind. Special shout out to Bogdan (the front office manager) and Miran (the night manager) who empathised with my situation and took a step further to help me out. I will definitely be back!
The general ambience and culture of this hotel is summarized in the statement HOME AWAY FROM HOME. All the staff are friendly and courteous. The location is perfect for the business traveler and rates are also POCKET FRIENDLY.
