Comprised of four beautifully restored Georgian buildings, the hotel is inspired by Baker Street's most famous resident - Sherlock Holmes. Like the man himself, the hotel is a witty blend of heritage and playfulness, with 118 guest rooms and luxurious loft suites, a sumptuous lounge, tranquil library and a gym. All-day casual dining is enjoyed at Kitchen at Holmes, where London's melting pot of culinary cultures can be explored. Holmes is filled with a mix of antiques, curiosities and artefacts, nestled alongside contemporary furniture by leading luxury designers. Amenities by Gilchrist & Soames' Guild & Pepper collection are included in every guest room, with Molton Brown's luxurious 1973 range of products in every suite.

A lovely hotel, calm atmosphere friendly staff and an overall fantastic stay. The rooms and the hotel are really clean, the beds are comfortable. The attached bar is a bonus and I can recommend the breakfast. This is served at your table and not buffet style. The hotel is a minute walk to Baker Street tube station. We’d definitely stay again.

Hotel's Favorite
Great great location. Really easy place to stay with a young family. The hotel is a nod to Sherlock Holmes but not overdone or schmaltzy. They got it just right. It is quirky and interesting and just luxurious enough. Good value for money. The best gift for our kids that we have ever gotten... Sherlock Holmes books on their bed with a teddy. My 8 year old walked around London with his nose in a book thanks to them. Really lovely touch. They just get it. The restaurant menu is really child friendly too with proper healthy meals that my kids loved. And it never hurts to have a bar in your hotel! The best part about the hotel was the staff. Even when they get stuff wrong they are quick to help remedy it and they go out of their way to make life easy. Will be back for sure. (I mean where else does a hotel give your kids books to read before bed instead of chocolates?!)

Amazing staff, Charmane was very welcoming and wrote us a personalised note welcoming us to the hotel and wishing us a good time at the Wicked musical we were in London to see (including some top notch sketching). She even threw in some snacks for the show for us! Thank you Charmane! Hotel was very nice, rooms to a good spec, but staff were star of the show!

Fab hotel experience. Very welcoming staff in all areas of the hotel and lots of cosy corners to sit and relax. Lovely little touches like the books to make children feel really welcome. We had a great stay and would not hesitate to recommend.

Went today to visit the hotel as we are staying there for my sisters wedding in June and the whole experience was spectacular. The hotel is beautiful, and luxurious. Charmaine gave us the most wonderful service and nothing was too much to ask for. We look forward to staying here (with the dogs) in June!

Excellent hotel on an average location. Probably the best breakfast experience we had in a hotel. The rooms are very comfortable and the staff very friendly. We definitely would recommend the hotel and would probably return for our next trip to London.

We needed a hotel for one night near Baker Street. This fitted the bill. It was a lovely clean and comfortable room. The bed was comfortable, the pillows soft. The staff were friendly and helpful. We have already booked again when we return in April.

This is the second time we have visited our return was based upon an excellent experience last time. This time we booked a deluxe room, and on check-in we were "upgraded" to a Deluxe Heritage. Well i am sure this was not an upgrade - our room had few of the features that the website promotes for a Deluxe Heritage room. Certainly no expansive windows with lots of daylight. We got a tiny window with a limited view of a dingy courtyard, we got a room which was more long corridor with barely enough space to get round the bed. Impossible to view the TV from the bed or the seats. Noisy floor with creaked on every step, including the next door room as it woke us up. Noisy plumbing from above. Noisy fridge, Noisy AC and rock hard mattress On the plus side the staff are brilliant, and the breakfast is very good. Hotel is in a very good location, and the public areas are nice. Avoid room 203

Fabulous first time stay. Way better than most 5 star hotels in London. Might even be the best I've stayed in for a long time. Last minute booking, booked the suite. Very roomy. Huge bedroom, living room area and spacious, stylish bathroom. The staff could not have been more friendly and if I remember the name of the exceptional receptionist who brought beautiful, thoughtful gifts for my daughter I'll add it here! Breakfast was fantastic - huge a la carte menu that can be taken in your room or in the restaurant. Has boutique feeling, and zero noise in the rooms (some reviewers mention noise - our room was silent). Sure, not much storage, but the room was elegant and stylish. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we look forward to joining you again soon!
