My family and I spent two nights at Holmes in Nov 2020 and couldn't say enough good things about the hotel and the service. First, it's in a great spot in Marylebone and near anything one needs to experience classic London. Second, the rooms are really well done -- interesting design without being overboard, very comfy bed and linens, super clean. Lastly, the staff did everything they could to make us feel safe, comfortable, and have a pleasant experience. Their level of courtesy and attention was of highest level. I also felt like they were very attuned to covid safety and took every precaution as standard. We will return and stay again at this hotel.

Hotel's Favorite
I stayed in the Holmes Hotel from Christmas through and past New Years, and want to say thank you to everyone there for making me feel so at home! It's a lovely hotel in the perfect location - close to the tube, the best restaurants and shops, but far enough away from Oxford Street that you can unwind. The rooms are lovely, the lobby & restaurant welcoming, and if anything was off, they did everything within their power to help. Special thanks to Carolina & Georgi for their hospitality. Will definitely be returning next time I'm in London. Thank you guys!

We needed somewhere to stay overnight prior to my husband having an operation and the Holmes Hotel went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. We booked a Townhouse Loft Suite which was very spacious (over two floors) with sofa and dining area on the ground level and a mezzanine bedroom and bathroom on the upper level. It was stylishly furnished with amazing TV screens on both levels and even in the bathroom! The bed was very comfortable. Carmine organised room service for all our meals ensuring my dietary needs were catered for and we were also offered a late check out should I need it. The Covid measures in place made us feel very safe and we were so relieved to find somewhere that made the whole stay so easy. We would love to go back once all this is over and without the hospital visit as the hotel is located in a great area for sightseeing and shopping.

The Holmes Hotel is lovely. The whole hotel is very well furnished with a smart, up market feel. Rooms are nice with good decor, Sky Tv and comfortable large beds. Location is perfect and only a couple of minutes walk to Baker Street tube station which has great tube links with 4 different lines that can be accessed. Also close to Madam Tussaud’s, Regent Park and plenty of bars, restaurants and cafes. All staff are really friendly and helpful and were really good with our kids. Food overall is really good, evening menu is very good quality, and the breakfasts were lovely (albeit it would be nice if they were able to make a runny poached egg). The only reason, we have given 4 stars as opposed to 5 stars is that we were there for a 4 days with 2 children and the room was not attended to at all during the stay (I presume due to COVID restriction). Now we are not people who are concerned about having housekeeping attend each day, however as we were there for 4 days, it meant that our bin was overflowing come day 4, and we had to request fresh towels, extra toilet paper, extra cups and tea bags etc during our stay. I should say that every time we asked for anything it was brought promptly and had we asked for the room to be cleaned I sure they would have arranged it but for 5 star service, sometimes you really shouldn’t have to ask. This did not massively impact on our stay however and I would not hesitate to stay here again in the future.

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay, Adam. We are thrilled to see you had your family had a lovely stay with us! It is so nice to see our friendly team made such an impression on you and that you really enjoyed your dining experiences at Holmes Hotel (we will take on board your comment regarding the poached eggs!). Due to Covid-19, we are currently limiting our physical presence in your room during your stay to help minimise risk for our guests and team members. We are paying special attention to increased cleaning and disinfection of your room before and after your stay. However, we are happy to attend your room on request, and I apologise if you were not well informed about this. We are delighted to see you would return for a future stay with us, we are already looking forward to welcoming you back on your next visit! Best regards, Lucy
