We were the last guests before the hotel was closed for renovation and rebranding. It will soon reopen under the new name and brand, no longer part of Marriott. It is pity as it was our favorite hotel in London. I just want to use the opportunity to say a big thank you to Paul, a concierge. He was incredible , helping us with every minute of our stay . Even gave us a free piece of luggage when the city was in lockdown . Probably the best support we have ever received from a hotel. I also want to mention Mark, who was also very helpful and nice. Barbara on the front office helped us with a number of requests. Let’s see what becomes of this hotel. I still hope we will return.

Stayed for two nights. Location is fantastic so central. Smell of the lobby was gorgeous on arrival. Received early check in and got to the room by 10am and late check out. Room was very big and spacious. We were placed on the ninth floor. Lifts were fast. Beds were extremely comfy. Very clean. No tea and coffee tray in the room which we thought is this because of the virus? But no you have to request it. So it was sent up within 10 minutes. Bathroom is massive, a bit too big perhaps. Could have potential for a walk in shower??? There’s space and would look lovely in that bathroom. Views were great. There was a party between a few rooms on a lower level from us and it was extremely loud, called down and the next morning we were offered a room change. We didn’t take it but appreciate the reception checking in on us and calling. Staff are all lovely, scottish man on concierge desk was very friendly and kind. Gentlemen called Nicola was also very kind and helpful. terrace was lovely to dine in. Such a shame there was only one other table there. But very beautiful setting. Staff were nice. Just didn’t feel for the price it should be if it wasn’t included that it’s worth it. But wasn’t a massive deal and wouldn’t deter us from returning. You should try piggy’s which is just around the corner for great salads and sandwiches really lovely. Would definitely return to this hotel.

I had stayed at Le Meridien Piccadilly a couple of times before but a very long time ago. It is coping brilliantly with the various constraints resulting from the Pandemic. It was almost ideally situated for our first indoor live cabaret at Crazy Coqs being a sort way from the Hotel. We arrived about 2pm and had been allocated a junior suite on the 7th Floor with stunning views. I dropped my wife and went off to park at the Q Park in Leicester Square. The welcome by the Staff was excellent and they could not have been more helpful or attentive. When I got back from parking we went to the Room which was well appointed as I would expect. We had some afternoon tea as the Lounge was - understandably - closed. There were few other guests to enjoy the excellent service which was a great shame. We felt safe and thought the additional measures were comprehensive but not unduly intrusive. We went out to the Cabaret and returned late to our room. We took breakfast in the Terrace Restaurant where Raoul and our server looked after us very well. The whole Concierge Team and Front Desk Staff were first class. They looked after my wife while I collected the car. Parking was a challenge as it often is nowadays as Construction Work was impacting access to the Car Park. But I managed a good deal with My Parking Space despite the problems. Our breakfast and tea were delicious and nicely presented. Housekeeping is not permitted into the Room while guests are present. Room Service delivered our tea trolley to the door and we thought this was very sensible and thoughtful. All in all an excellent stay despite the vicissitudes and well done and many thanks to all the Team who looked after us so well. It gives us confidence to visit again and we really appreciated all the precautions and safety measures they had in place.

The hotel location is very convenient, it’s very close to Chinatown. The service is pretty good. The rooms are small and the facilities are a bit outdated. Very bad soundproofing. The breakfast is excellent.

I was taken here for a birthday treat and we were very disappointed with the room, despite being a Junior Suite it was close to being the most depressing room I’ve ever stayed in. It was dark and tired and we complained and were moved to another room, only slightly better, very disappointed. The bathroom was tired and not sure why the bar of soap was replaced every day, seems a waste of money and bad for the environment. The air conditioning was not great, I would hate to be in the room on a warm day, luckily we were there in March so we managed. We had access to the Club Lounge which was nice and the staff attentive, a nice place to relax after a day out in London. Breakfast was nice, very extensive but the food started being removed very soon after the end time so you need to be down for breakfast well before the cut off time. The gym and pool area was quite good for a hotel. The younger doorman was very good, the older one less so, more interested in gossiping with the staff. Great location but that doesn’t compensate for the tired building, sadly we will not be returning.
