Well this is a never again experience. Organized a 7 person meeting for my global sales management team here. Many arrived to find their room not ready, despite booking a room for the day prior to their early morning transatlantic arrival. Rooms are fine especially in the context of a 100 year old property - larger than many in Europe... More

This place was a great place to stay if you wanted to be within walking distance to all the attractions. There is a lot to see within a mile in either direction. The staff was very nice, the service was great and our room was very good. The hotel is not a true Waldorf Astoria, but it's very nice with... More

I stayed there for 4 nights, i had a beautiful stay in general. The staff is helpful and the quality of the services is definitely 5 stars. It reminds me of the Waldorf Astoria NYC. I would highly recommend it and i look forward to coming back again. Thank you for such a beautiful experiece.

Very expensive for one night, very standard room and small. Tiny window which look out to a brick wall.Wanted a bath but the hot water wasn't very hot. Breakfast was ok (we ordered to our room) and when leaving the receptionist tried to charge us even though it was included in our room. Didn't find the staff overly pleasant either... More

The Waldorf Hilton exceeded our expectations. The staff was extremely attentive to all of our needs. The location was perfect, Covent Garden is such a lovely area. The underground transportation, taxis and buses were steps away. Also wonderful restaurants and theatres right next door. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Bathroom ceiling paint peeling off, indicating a lack of attention to detail, or perhaps worse a lack of concern. It makes me wonder if it is a management oversight in delaying scheduled maintainence or lacadasic employee care.

You can't fault the location but one of my most expensive one night stays and the room was very dated and poor value. Breakfast was great, contacting reception was an issue as they just didn't pick up. Overall better value available

A very enjoyable stay. Our room was a twin deluxe situated at the front of the hotel. We were surprised how quiet it was, no traffic noise and no corridor noise. Very clean and comfortable. Some food on the breakfast buffet could have been hotter, but still enjoyed it.

Context: I stayed here for a long weekend stay based on location, gym, pool and a bit of luxury. The Waldorf in Edinburgh is a landmark building of beauty and charm, and this swayed my choice. Plus Points: Great building, location and gym. Free bottled mineral water in the room and nibbles in the bar when ordering a drink. It's... More

Stayed at the Waldorf on a weekend break with my nephews and was not disappointed with our choice of hotel. Lovely hotel, good location, friendly, helpful staff. Stayed in an executive suite which was very spacious and well equipped, nephews particularly liked the TV in the bathroom. would definitely use this hotel again.

Staying in Trafalgar Square / Embankment

Neighborhood Profile
Trafalgar Square / Embankment
With its iconic Nelson’s Column, majestic oversized lions and brightly-lit fountains, Trafalgar Square is not just considered the heart of this bustling London hub, but the very core of the city itself. Beyond this esteemed gathering place are more famous icons, as well as a disproportionate numbers of the city’s most popular cultural attractions including the National Gallery and many West End theaters. Along the way to these major sites are quiet lanes and antiquated pubs to discover, as well as riverside vistas to enjoy on the embankment. With a calendar full of celebratory events, any time of year is a fine time to visit.
