I stayed here for a week recently, and let me start off by saying that this hotel is fantastic. Very good location, lots of cafes/restaurants close by, train station just down the road and the buses go straight past. This hotel is very popular and has a lot of guests coming/going which sometimes makes the lobby crowded, but that didn't...

My husband and I stayed in a studio for a week vacation 2 weeks ago. It was small, but just right for what we needed since we were out most of the day anyway. It was very clean and modern, and centrally located. It's about a 5-minute walk to Embankment Underground. Though my husband and I walked a lot, we...

As others have mentioned, the location is unbeatable. Absolutely in the middle of everything. I was actually surprised how nice the studio was. I was given a room on the 7th floor, as requested, and it was quite new and practically arranged. My only niggle is the really bad lighting, I had to make up with a hand mirror on...

The Citadines Trafalgar Square has a great location, just a few steps away from Trafalgar Square and Charing Cross underground station. My room was spacious, which is a luxury in downtown London at this price point, and the bed was vert comfortable. The thing that bugs me about any Citadines is their housekeeping policy. If you are staying less than...

I was put on the 8th floor which is a two story room. Lounge, kitchen AND the only toilet on the lower floor. Then climb a spiral staircase (impossible to carry a suitcase up it) to the bedrooms and bathroom. NO toilet on this floor so if you need to go in the middle of the night you have to...

This hotel was lovely and so convenient to walk to everything. We walked from there to big Ben around past Buckingham palace, through Piccadilly square and across to the eye. And we were only in town for less than 24 hours. I would definitely stay again. The room had a kitchenette ( we did not use) but nice feature. Coffee/Expresso/tea...

Stayed here a 2nd time as I enjoyed my first stay. I wasn't impressed this time around, the room wasn't great at all, it needed a repaint and looked tacky (not maintained properly). The apartments wasn't that busy so it wasn't like the last apartment to go. Could do with just a fresh coat of paint. The staff on duty...

My wife and I stayed here for a quick visit to London. Excellent location near Trafalgar Square. The breakfast each morning was terrific. We had a basic room which had a refrigerator, microwave and cook top. Would definitely recommend!

We have stayed at Citadines Trafalgar Square some 15 times. The property is well run, very clean and the kitchen facilities appeal to us because we usually stay for some 10 nights. Staying in Trafalgar Square / Embankment

Neighborhood Profile
Trafalgar Square / Embankment
With its iconic Nelson’s Column, majestic oversized lions and brightly-lit fountains, Trafalgar Square is not just considered the heart of this bustling London hub, but the very core of the city itself. Beyond this esteemed gathering place are more famous icons, as well as a disproportionate numbers of the city’s most popular cultural attractions including the National Gallery and many West End theaters. Along the way to these major sites are quiet lanes and antiquated pubs to discover, as well as riverside vistas to enjoy on the embankment. With a calendar full of celebratory events, any time of year is a fine time to visit.
