    Central Location
A fabulous central location in Westminster and walking distance to so many major attractions, as well as buses and trains. Staff were very friendly and able to answer any questions we had. We arrived rather early expecting to have our luggage stored and our room was ready for us so were able to get into our room when we arrived. A nice surprise was the chocolates and wine left for us to celebrate our wedding anniversary! We had a one bedroom apartment and while small, gave us enough room to spread out for the 10 days we were there. Having a full kitchen and washing machine in central London was also a great cost saving thing. The free coffee machine in the foyer was awesome! We hope we get the chance to stay here again when we finally make our way back to London. We were here for Christmas and New Year - even got to see the fireworks from just outside the hotel on midnight on NYE.
Hi deneller2018, Thank you for your feedback. I'm delighted to read you enjoyed your stay with us! We lok forward to welcoming you back again soon.

    Good Location
An easy location to jump on and off the Tube. Our first time in London and we found it very easy to walk to a lot of attractions ie The London Eye, Buckingham Palace, etc. The tube is very close as well as several small convenience stores (The CO-OP store near the Trafalgar square tube entry was best). Easy walk to Picadilly and we also walked to Soho and Tower Bridge one day. The rooms are small but comfortable & clean and ours had a washer / dryer so very helpful when living out of a suitcase for a month. While its definitely not a cheap place to stay, we would definitely stay here again.

Superb location for our visit, great apartments
I organised a family weekend in London for my wife's birthday. The main attraction was to be the London Eye. The location of Citadines, in this prestigious area right between Trafalgar Square and the river, proved perfect and great value. We were given two double rooms and a studio for the family of four, close together, and were all very happy with the apartments. Service at the front desk was very good, and we very much appreciated the complimentary hot drinks in the lounge. Walking across to the Eye and to Trafalgar Square, also catching a river boat from Embankment Pier, were all enjoyable and memorable experiences.
Hi David W, Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback. I'm delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us. We look forward to welcoming you back again soon!

We were there for three nights following a cruise. The hotel is basic but clean. We did not eat breakfast there (about 17 pounds I think) and just grabbed a coffee in the lobby. The rooms were quiet and the staff helpful, but they don't provide any tour or conceriege services. If you want an alternative for breakfast we ate at the Caffe Concerto across the street which was very good. The staff will call for a taxi which we used, and around the block is Trafalgar Square with the National Art Museum and a location for the Hop-on-off bus.

What a brilliant place to stay, from the moment we arrived, my daughter & I were made so welcome. The hotel was spotless, bed so comfy & having a little kitchen area was such a bonus. The staff so helpful & when we had to ask to have the settee made up they were so apologetic thst it had not been done, on our return to the room, there was a lovely surprise....box of chocolates & bottle wine. Edd on Reception was so helpful & eveytime I saw him, he always had a smile on his face & extremely helpful It's a 2 minute walk from Embankment tube station & walking in the opposite direction is Trafalger Squ. Crossing the road is Old Scotland Yard Rd that leads to Whitehall,.so this place is strategically placed for going to watch Changing of the Guard & then on to Houses of Parliament or Buckingham Palace

I stayed with my family at Citadines Trafalgar Square London for a week. The location is perfect, 3 min from Trafalgar Square & less than 10 min from (Whitehall gardens, Victoria garden, The national gallery, Sant James Park, among other attractions). All the services needed are available in the area, supermarkets, restaurants, cafes and pharmacy in less than 5 min walk (Tesco express, M&S food, Pert a Magner, Starbucks, Costa, Donut time charing cross, McDonald’s, Boots,…). The building itself is an art piece from outside with a large beautiful lobby. It is safe as the doors opened only by card as well as the elevator. Reception is available for 24 h. There’re coffee, tea and hot chocolate for free in the lobby in addition to the complimentary ones in every room. We were 5 and we stayed at the studio and the one bedroom apartment. They’re well designed, clean and spacious. Unlike the most of London hotels this hotel has an AC. The kitchen is efficient and well equipped. My only problem is the dim lighting. The staff was great, they’re attentive and mad me feel welcomed. The check in and checkout process were easy and quick. They arranged us a housekeeping service and a late checkout for free, offered us umbrellas when it was raining and the housekeeping lady did a great job thanks to her. And finally the nice lady with the dark hair (sorry I forgot the name) who made our stay way better, she provided us with everything we need and answered our questions with a big smile. One of the male staff were cold and rude, but in general the staff were polite and helpful. I’ll definitely stay in Citadines Trafalgar when I visit London again.

Nice location and great concept but unfortunately, not well executed. Head of Housekeeping and maintenance must have a very low threshold of what is acceptable. Usual areas were clean but no one had wiped down let alone deep clean all the walls around the toilet, which were disgusting. Other walls around the apartment needed cleaning to. I doesn't take much for maintenance to put a fresh lick of paint over scuff marks, chips in wall etc. Certain doors on the kitchen cabinets were badly chipped and should have been replaced. I wouldn't stay here again, unless this was addressed, and certainly not at the £240 - £330 price tag for a night. I also got fed up with 4 emails in 24 hours asking if I wanted to upgrade my room to a more expensive one. Would this have been equally dirty and disappointing. Happy for Citadines to contact me, presuming they are interested in providing a good product. Even one of the complimentary bottles of water had previously been opened. Clearly no attention to detail.

I really can’t fault this hotel! Stayed for one night with my best friend as we were celebrating her 50th birthday. I emailed the hotel on booking to request early check-in and late check-out & explained we were staying to celebrate a milestone birthday. Unfortunately as there were problems with the trains (for a change!) we were unable to get to the hotel in time to check in early as we arrived at around 2.45pm. But our room was ready & we checked in 15 mins early! The hotel staff were friendly, courteous and efficient. They were also very smartly dressed which is always a good first impression. The room itself was an apart-hotel, so in addition to the usual bedroom, it also had a separate kitchenette which was fully equipped with all you’d need for a stay, including a dishwasher, microwave, kettle and toaster. Plus a separate bathroom with shower & sink & a separate toilet with a nifty little sink above the cistern! The room was very clean & well presented with modern, bright decor which is always a plus for me! The bed was a good size & although we had booked a twin room they had none available at check-in so offered an extra bed in the room for no extra charge. A really lovely touch, which I’m really grateful for is that the hotel had left a bottle of wine and a bar of chocolate with a ‘Happy Birthday’ label on. It’s the little things like this that make a hotel stay exceptional in my opinion. Now, the cost. For the quality & cleanliness of the rooms the rate for a one night stay was very reasonable, i booked a few days before arriving and paid £244 for the night. That didn’t include breakfast (which was an extra £15pp per night). I should mention that we had an issue with the electrics in our room and within five minutes of reporting this, we had maintenance staff at our door to fix the problem. All in all five stars. Great hotel, great location, a five minute walk to Embankment station and close distance to Theatreland. Thank you so much to Citadines Trafalgar Square for making this such a fantastic stay, I really appreciate the extra effort that made this stay so great and most importantly that my bestie had such an enjoyable 50th birthday celebration. 👏🏼

London hotels are as expensive as any big city but this hotel has reasonable size rooms with kitchenettes that were perfect for our four night stay. Staff do not service rooms unless you ask and I prefer that. The rooms are a bit tired, but perfectly fine. There is a free coffee machine in the reception. The location is superb for a holiday or business visit. All round a good experience.

This is perfectly located near Trafalgar Square and the train station. We would base ourselves here again when we next come to London because it is within walking distance to many tourist attractions. We walked to the theatre easily and there are plenty of restaurant options nearby. The room was fine, it’s not five star but it’s very practical and clean. We also used the in room kitchen area to make breakfast and dinner and it was all ok. We also used the on-site laundry which was easy once we downloaded the accompanying app.

There was much to like about the Citadines Trafalger Square: Great location, the two bedroom apartment had plenty of room and we appreciated that the one bathroom was divided between a space with the toilet/small sink and a separate space with the tub/shower and main sink. Well equipped kitchen w/a small dishwasher. It was super quiet. Appreciated the coffee in the lobby. All this made traveling with teenagers much smoother. I hadn't fully realized that it was a 2-floor suite, so you had to climb a flight of steps to the bedrooms. The largest off-notes: the furnishings and carpet were quite worn -- with visible stains on several cushions and on the carpet. The space is quite utilitarian -- you aren't paying for charm here. And while I appreciated that there was a laundry room, it was quite complicated to get all setup on the necessary app in order to use them, and 2 of the 4 dryers were out of order.

Should have kept expectations even lower than we had them. Most of staff are new 1-3 months, some a year, but still, that is short period. When we called the front desk to ask how the hob (stove) works, they could not answer the question! We had to find the model number online and figure it out ourselves. First room had issues including a broken window where a large pane of glass almost fell on our head; the room also smelled of dirty baby diapers, so we got a room change. In the 'new' room, the bathroom smelled of urine. The toilet is also a sink - difficult to explain as it's separate. Good for environment to not waste water, but rather disgusting to look at soap and dirty water from hand washing return to toilet bowl. They told us ahead of time that we could use the gym next door for free. This was a perk that influenced our choice of hotel. Unfortunately, the perk turned out to be untrue. No free gym access next door! Also, the washer/dyer on mezzanine level - super small washers and dryers -- 2 of 4 dryers not working, is pricey for the size of load you are able to do. And... you won't believe this - me and other guests appalled - the housekeeping staff washing rags and tea towels in these guest washers and used 2 of 4 washers and the dyers so we had to wait. Several guests took wet clothes from washer back up to rooms to return another day. No wash/face cloths. Safe too high up in closet to reach, had to use chair. Rooms feel institutional and have cheap looking furniture. Feels a bit like they could hose the room down after each guest and call it 'ready' for the next. They are supposed to upgrade the rooms in the future at some point, but really, how does that help for now. Terrible, ugly, depressing and dark hallways even with lights on. No ramp access for luggage from taxi to lobby. Be ready to drag your suitcases up some steps. Kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans and utensils. Very good overall (once we went online to figure out how to unlock the child safety function on the hob). Note: Rooms cleaned only once a week, so they want you to bring your wet towels down to lobby to exchange. Some guests just leave them in hallway. Guests are also required to empty their own bathroom and kitchen trash. Not exactly what you want to do on a holiday. Trash has a chute, but only one extra bag. Two staff told us we might be able to check into room earlier around 1:00. Both separately told us this exact time. So, of course we were excited. Then when we did exactly as they asked and came back to see if room was ready at 1:30, they said no and that they don't guarantee room prior to 3pm. Rude about it. Room was finally ready by 3:30. Why tell people it "might" be ready around 1pm when you know it will not. And, why act like we are doing something wrong, when two staff told us to come back early and see if room would be ready. Francis at front desk excellent. He should find a job somewhere else. Most all others dishonest or unprofessional and rude. Location great, but that's it. There is a reason for the lower price for a kitchen in hotel room. Beware. You get what you pay for.
