I was at the Hilton for a work get-together. On the day we arrived (29 November 2023), a number of our party, including myself, could not check in until 6PM, as the hotel was acting as pre-match host to the Arsenal football team. Furthermore, the entire reception area and restaurant/bar was "reserved" for the team for the duration of their stay. That basically meant that the entire hotel, including our rooms was excluded to a number of our party, despite the fact that our reservations were pre-paid. Due to our own programme and the disruptions from the football team, I only managed to check in after 9PM. A poor way to treat paying customers.

Check in was handled super efficiently by Ammi, who has a great personality and is an asset to the brand..I was an hour early, but she managed to check me in, and as my room wasn’t quite ready, she found an alternative - room 320, which was an upgrade… There are two lifts to all 4 floors. My room comprises of a safe, tea/coffee making facilities, a large screen TV, with all the Freeview channels, Iron, ironing board - and a lovely king size bed, which was extremely comfortable. The bathroom has the usual condiments, also no bath, but a power shower… Breakfast is from 7am every day, I find that a little late, as during the week I would be happier from 6am. There is. Good choice of food, including my favourite - fresh mushrooms… There is a 24 hour gym, which is tiny, but a good balance of weights and cardio machines… It’s all a little pricy, and serves mostly as a business hotel, but it is very central to all local attractions in Angel, and some amazing restaurants close by……

When arriving at the hotel, we were greeted by a lovely receptionist called Lakshami, who was so polite and helpful. We asked to see the room before making a decision and was greeted by the manager, Kacey Tubb, who was so welcoming and friendly. She showed us to our room and we were very impressed. The hotel was clean and comfortable. We were a bit weary because we had been walking around London trying to find a hotel to stay at following a terrible experience with a different hotel, and Kacey was very sympathetic with our situation and went above and beyond to help us out. Nothing was too much trouble and she took the time to listen to our woes and she really helped cheer us up. The breakfast was lovely, with a good variety of choice, and our evening meals were very tasty, and the waiter services was excellent. I have to say, we have never experienced such warm, welcoming, friendly ladies. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and this is mainly due to the fact that we were treated so nicely and the hospitality was first class. Thank you Kacey and Lakshami - you are the first point of call on arrival at the hotel and you both certainly made an excellent impression. I hope all the Hilton hotels live up to your standards. Unbelievable. I checked into a room where the aircon made so much noise it was impossible to rest. When I informed the reception, I was informed they were fully booked and could not swap my room nor did they have anyone who could fix it as it was the weekend. I asked for a manager, who called later to inform me that "I have to work with her" and switch off the aircon on a London night when the temp was 2C. I told her that normally a conversation with a client begins with "we are sorry our product was not to standard, what can we do to fix it?" not demanding I "work" with her. She then asked me to wait as she tried to see what she could do and put me on hold but did not get back to me for 10 min. I hung up and waited for 45 min before I called back to see if anything transpired, only to get an annoyed voice and be asked "what did I want?". I was offered to change rooms the next day, no upgrade, no breakfast, no free drink, no sorry, not even a free water. Moreover, she went on to tell me that frankly I was not justified in being disappointed. Bear in mind, I was not difficult or rude. When I began to unpack, I then also realised no one had even bothered to wipe the surfaces and the room was filthy.…

Myself and my daughter stayed here as it was close to a venue my daughter was attending. We have stayed here before and always found it to be convenient and friendly. This time Carrie on the bar really stood out for us. We needed come cardboard to pack a poster. She very helpfully found some for us. Nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be back!

Superb staff interactions with Kacey and Lakshmi as we arrived bedraggled, exhausted and hungry after a long journey by plane, train and taxi. A quick room change was organised by Lakshmi and the restaurant recommendation was on point. We were treated like family and felt valued. I wish all hotel staff were as responsive and sympathetic as the front desk Hilton Angel team.

A nice hotel in a nice location tucked off the high street in Islington. The hotel lobby and restaurant is very nice, our room was a very good size for a family of four and had everything we needed. The bed wasn’t overly comfortable however. Overall would recommend this hotel.

Stayed her for 2 nights as was exhibiting at The Business Design Centre which is literally next door. Staff are very helpful, polite & professional Car parking just underneath the hotel, closest tuive is Angel. Bedroom was large, clean and serviced daily Pleasant bar/restaurant area Overall, very good can highly recommend if you need to be in this area of London.

was a great pleasure to stay at Hilton ❤️❤️❤️ i had a very good service from HSK , Giongina she help me with the luaggage she was so nice . i asked for extra chair and she brought it to me in less than 10 minutes which was great help . an excellent reception staff .
