My partner and I took our 10 month old daughter to London for the first time and couldn’t have picked a better hotel. We chose a junior suite for an absolute bargain rate and it had everything we needed including a travel cot. We were able to use the bar for drinks as the exec lounge was closed. We felt completely safe in the hotel and used the Hilton app for check in and for our door key. The rate also allowed for cancellation up until the day of our stay. This is so important in these uncertain times. The proximity to a reasonable car park was also a bonus. Overall we were delighted with our stay.

Hotel's Favorite
In this time of Covid I'm always cautious about hotel stays; however this hotel has everything in place for the safety of its guests. (Clean Stay. full information on the Hilton site) This excellent hotel is located at the Angel Islington next to the Business Design Centre about a 5 minute walk from the Angel tube station. The newly refurbished hotel has beautifully appointed rooms well equipped with A/C, TV, tea & coffee facilities, with either bath or shower etc. Upon arrival I received a warm welcome at the check in. I had checked in online before and my room was beautifully prepared. Whilst the executive lounge is closed because of Covid the hotel is offering drinks in the bar i.e. house wine, beers, and snacks in the evening. (Table service) There is a limited menu available which is reasonably priced. Just to add the service provided by Isaac in the evening of my stay went above and beyond to make me feel at home. A full breakfast is available which excellent and the staff (Alex and the chef) provides a first class service.

Don’t stay @ chain hotels, Especially North American ones when travelling aboard. However needed to stay in Islington so choose this one. Very happy and surprised by room, service, breakfast and staff. Had more of a boutique feel than we expected. If we needed to stay in Islington or close by, would definitely stay here. Why superior to the Plum Guide AirBnB that we stayed at in the area in Nov 2019. And cheaper!!!

We - two of us plus the dog - have stayed at the Hilton Islington twice in the last month (Sept and Oct 2020). Everything is very COVID-secure. The rooms are great. We've stayed in a King Exec, King Exec Suite and a Terrace Suite. Even the King was nice and big, but the suites are really big. Great showers, fridge (why don't all hotel room have a fridge!?), somewhere to work, sit, eat. Olive, our dog, was most welcome. In fact all the staff loved her! And the staff! Every one was polite, friendly, professional and just lovely. It makes such a difference when staying at a hotel and the Hilton Islington scores top marks for its staff. We were upgraded free of charge - twice! But, that not the point really, the staff just make you feel really welcome.
