This hotel, well situated for who is travelling via St Pancras station or for who has to do at the Design Business Center, is a standard Hilton. The exact same design as any standard American Hilton in the US. No charm, but ok. It also rather ageing. Not the best choice in London, specially for that price, but convenient for a business night. The staff is professional and friendly. Breakfast opening too late (7:00 am) for business travellers.
Three night stay early June, hotel was nice and clean, rooms excellent and modern. The Executive Lounge was open and nice to have it for the occasional coffee or soft drink although evening reception was held in bar, hotel still quite quiet so not usual number of staff. Breakfast was good, almost buffet service but not for hot food. Good location and great price for London at this time of year, couldn't fault the visit.
I have attended afternoon tea twice this year and liked it so much I decided to go the third time with my friends. The reason i went the third time was because the tea was reasonable price and thinking that I would get the same type of amazing customer service I got last time and I was wrong. No one came round to check if we were ok. The Manger was present but no friendly approach was made by him. The hotel was empty so the staff and manager had plenty of time to make us feel welcomed. I felt so embarrassed as I told my friends that they had amazing customer service. Most shocking was there was a blind lady who was approaching the bar to get someone's assistance and the 2 girls at the bar ignored the lady as they were busy chatting until the lady struggled to reach the bar and then the girls asked if she needed help. Food wise- The sandwiches not that great. The jam usually comes in a pretty jar but this time came in sachets- very cheap. I dont think I would come here again. I rather pay extra money and receive great customer service and food.…
Stains all down the walls in room and hallways Pubic hair on the floor in the bathroom where it wasn’t cleaned properly! Dirty bottom sheet Breakfast was the only redeeming feature. This hotel is dirty
This place does ‘four star Hilton’ and does it well. Yes it’s not the Savoy but it does like after diamond members and is a super comfortable place to sleep. I’ve stayed in almost all the London Hilton’s and this place is one of my go-to’s. The recent renovation is lovely and the bar is now somewhere you want to stay for a drink (or three) before a meal out. I’ve always been loyal to this hotel and will continue to be so (I’ve got two more stays on the diary - just in case you guys wanted to say thanks 😉🤣 ). Seriously though, highly recommended.
This is my second stay at this property and I had the same complaint of very noisy AC like a factory machine. Also the room/bathroom cleanliness isn't top notch. One can see mould just sitting down using the toilet all round the sink.
I chose this hotel for its location close to family and ease of transport to tube and sites in central London. It is a long stay 23 days ending on 12 Sept 22. I am so disappointed with the hotel for the reasons: * room was dated * bathroom needed a good clean and strong smell came from it at night * no lift to first floor and no one offered to bring my suitcase up many steps to my room * no water left in room even if once in 3 days * no information provided re Wifi or breakfast when I arrived, I had to ask. If the hotel was 4 star, I would honestly rate it at 2 star. I’m disappointed for the price I paid. The only positive is: * staff at Halo at breakfast especially Samira was excellent, highly recommended. * and a few others Otherwise I am disappointed with my stay I’m still here for another week and hope things will improve. We really want to recommend the Hilton hotel in Angel. We stayed for two days and received excellent service at the reception. The room was spacious and comfortable. We would like to highlight the high level of cleanliness and in particular the rich breakfast with a wide choice of hot and cold food at the buffet. A special thanks to the lovely Samira who provided us an excellent and attentive customer service making us feel welcomed, she was friendly and smiling. 10 out of 10
Lovely hotel, great location with great staff. We stay regularly as our family live a short distance away so it’s perfect location. Very clean rooms and quiet, breakfast is really good and the executive lounge very relaxing.
The hotel double charged me, once on arrival 24/07/22 and then again on departure on 26/07/22. Despite calling and emailing several times and being assured that the money would be returned to me, it's now been 3 weeks and I still haven't had my money back. This has caused me great financial and emotional distress. I am disgusted by Hilton Hotels failure to refund my money. All I can say is double check what you have been charged before you leave the hotel.
