Tiny twin room which was dirty and dusty and the shower room in a cupboard! The only thing good was the comfortable bed and clean towels. Radiator in the shower room was rusty and peeling paint. Carpets stained. Dust everywhere. Walls tired and dirty. Breakfast ok but surly waiter! Will not be returning.

We booked this hotel because it wasn't very expensive and was located near a major tube stop. The room was barely big enough for my husband and I to fit, let alone with our two large suitcases, this made the room very very cramped. The bed was ok, but very cheap. The bathroom needed work, the toilet wouldn't always flush... More

Very poorly kept! Dirty, shabby, pealing paint, We requested a double bed and ended up with twins. The Windows would not lock, the carpets were stained, the lighting was horrible. Very disappointing. Although, the clerk let us out of this agreement provided we spend one night. We had booked it for four nights.

Overall, this hotel was decent and cheap for a place to stay in London. A very convenient location close by the Victoria Station and the staff was very friendly and helpful which was great. However, the rooms are a bit small (but not terrible), you have to pay for wifi (only 5€ though for unlimited), our tv didn't work, our... More

I have only just gotten around to writing this review from a previous stay, although looking at recent reviews nothing has changed. This is the single worst hotel I have ever stayed in, and with over 500 under my belt, thats some accolade. A Golden Raspberry, if you will. I was actually moved here due to a cock up from... More

Stayed for a few days to go to theatre and sightsee, very unhelpful staff, loads of steps not good if your disabled although there is a lift you have to go down stairs to it which are very narrow. Breakfast is disgusting just cereal and underdone toast which is slapped on the table in front of you, no marmalade only... More

Didn't find it dirty just very tired but for what we paid I wasn't expecting a 5* place. The bedding and towels were clean and good quality. The water was constantly hot and the central heating kept the room warm despite having two large windows. Bed was comfy. Continental breakfast was basic but more than adequate. Ideal location if using... More

Aside from the location, I find it really difficult to find one positive quality about this hotel. After being greeted by an extremely rude, arrogant male receptionist, the first impression alone is enough to scare you off! Very dated, unclean and 'uncared for' - steer well clear! There are endless other pleasant hotels in the immediate area, which offer a... More

Stayed for a week with my colleague, rooms arent very clean which i always use as an absokute minimum a hotel should be but beds are big and rooms are fairly spacious for london hotels, central locations with lots of places to eat and shop and drink within walking distance as well as victoria station.

I don't even know where to start. 1st off, their website is just BURSTING with lies. The overwhelming filth & decrepitness was an incredible shock after a long flight in. There is no way on earth that this place is a "FODOR'S Best Choice Recommendation". Just can't be. Things they say they have, but really don't: WiFi, Working in-room phones,... More

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
