We stayed here for a night on a sight seeing trip to London. We arrived early morning and although it was too early to check in the staff were more than happy to look after our bag. Our room appeared to have been recently decorated and the bathroom was newly fitted. It was all quite stylish, very clean and adequate...

Out of 2 rooms one is so small the cat couldn't swing lol. Window fan is always open. So extermally loud traffic noise. I have not had any sleep. Bin behind door. When we opened it, it swung back on us. Dirty cups in room for tea/coffee. The floor is on a slope you feel drunk when moving or lying...

We stayed here recently for 5 nights, we were struggling with our luggage on entering the foyer and were ignored by the 2 young guys behind the counter, there was no welcome or smile, we were not told where the restaurant or anything was but pointed in the direction if the lift. Our room we found was in the basement,...

The headboards to the beds were all worn and damaged, the room had no air conditioning and it was a very hot few days, the little electric fan was near useless in cooling the room down. The bedding was thick fleece blankets and counter panes. The tv did not receive any channels, however it was well placed for our visit...

This is the second visit to the Sidney Hotel and it's been renovated (luckily, last time I stayed about 5 years ago the rooms were a disgrace, as was the dining room). We asked for a quiet room away from the street frontage and were given a newly renovated room in the basement of the adjoining property (it's all part...

The hotel room we had was only a small one (which was fine) but it was boiling hot in there an without A/C we had to sleep with a fan on and the window wide open! The bathroom mirror was boiling hot as in you couldn't touch it! Couldn't sleep with the heat

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
