Me and my partner Dave stayed here for my 40th Birthday we had the best time ever. Absolutely amazing. Loved everything about the whole experience. Would definitely stay here again giving the chance. Close to all the places we wanted to visit and lovely on an evening just to be able to relax with a drink after a long days... More

My husband and I spent 5 nights at this hotel for a sightseeing trip. Since we knew what roomsize to expect in London, we were not at all surprised when we got to our tiny room on the 5th floor. The room was well-equipped, well-maintained and clean, though. Bathroom, carpets, bedlinens all seemed to be rather new. The cleaning staff... More

Stayed 3 nights. Very welcoming and comfortable. Clean and cheerful room. Breakfast was fantastic and again service impeccable. Concierge helpful and courteous. Nothing wS too much trouble. Good position, walking distance to Museums and Harrods. Thank you Park International from visitors from Australia

If you're looking for one review that will help you decide not to book here, let it be this one. The room is small, which is expected in London. But the hotel seemed like it hadn't been cleaned in a decade. The staff couldn't care less. Calling IKEA furniture "colonial" doesn't quite make the cut. The bed is literally 4cm... More

We only booked for 2 nights. on first night discovered bedide spot lights did not work. Onsecond morning discovered plu to bathroom basin didn't work. Reported faults at breakfast. Reported them again in afternoon as they had not been fixed. Man came and said he would fix the plug the next day (no good to us) and come back to... More

Booked up a room here through Lastminute and with the booking was breakfast included and a double room. I booked this through my work as it was for a course id be attending so could only put my name down. My husband was coming with me and as such would be checking in on the day. I called the hotel... Bling bling reception hall, but that's where the glitter stops. Dark, dank corridors, badly functioning lift. I can live with a small room when I'm only staying two nights, but when I paid for a double bed, clearly confirmed on the voucher, and I get a single one literally leaving no more than a centimetre from the very badly insulated... We had four nights at this hotel; for a (reasonable) special internet price. The hotel is a grand place, though I am not sure when it was built or how long it has functioned as a hotel; in its day it would have been spectacular. I wouldn't call it quaint, definitely not quirky (that would be an insult to the... More

I have stayed at Park International for at least 4 times now. To me, it was a decent, clean hotel in a central location, minutes from Gloucester Road tube station. I even have a favorite room, 314. That was until I stayed last August. I checked out of the hotel, paid all my dues and traveled back home. I then... More

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
