Loved my stay at this hotel. Exceptional staff, very friendly and took special care of our group. Hotel is in a lovely location and Earls Court Station is almost on the door step - so close. Rooms and bathrooms were lovely and English Breakfast was very good. Once again, very friendly service from the staff in the Dining Room. Lots...

This hotel is in an excellent location that is very close to the Earls Court station. The pros: good price on the room, very friendly staff, quiet neighborhood and great location for walking anywhere you need to go. The cons: my husband and I were very surprised that there was NO AIR CONDITIONING. At first we thought it may not...

This quiet hotel is well located near Earls Court tube station. The single room was well equipped albeit small. The highlight was the full English breakfast cooked to order - a marvellous change to the standard hot "buffet" which many hotels serve.

Very, very small rooms, but clean. The rooms are badly soundproofed but OK for a short stay at a city tour. The good location close to the Metro station is a big advantage. A typical roll on roll of hotel for tourists with low room rates compared to other hotels in good locations.

Situated in a quiet leafy square and five minutes walk from Earls Court station (with an M&S food store at the end of the road) the Burns Hotel is in an ideal location. The staff are all friendly and welcoming. Having booked a twin room as I was meeting a friend I was disappointed to find a super king sized...

My husband and I went to this Hotel for a weekend on an offer. Because of this we didn't expect a big room and we weren't disappointed. Having said that the room was fine, held everything you needed and was clean. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, The breakfast was cooked and presented very nicely. The location of the...

Rooms are very small as is the lift which is supposed to hold four people. However, staff are friendly and helpful. Currently undergoing refurbishment and updating small rooms to larger facilities which will make this hotel one of the best to stay

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
