With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.

I’m a frequent visitor to London and to the south Kensigton area in specific, and over the years I tried most of the hotels and apartments around , and to my pleasant discovery I found that 130 Queen’s gate is the best place to stay in and will be my only choice of stay when in London . Location is ridiculously ideal. Steps away from the most renowned museums in London , and its only 20 minute walk to Hyde park & Kensigton park. If your visit is medical then the apartment is only 10 min walk from the Royal Marsden Hispital and the Royal Brompton Hospital. Harrods is also a 15 minute walk away and the two underground stations South Kensigton & Gloucester are also 5 minutes away. Waitrose and Tesco are steps away and surrounded by great restaurants , pubs and variety of stores .The apartments are well maintained , clean , modern . Kitchen is well equipped and is ideal for long stays. Daily service to the apartment and is always left spotless . The reception staff are extremely helpful , friendly and caring. Managment of the facility is always available to respond to customer needs. I stayed in one bedroom apartment with my wife for 7 weeks and never had to complain at anything and our needs and requests were always met . So yes it is from now on our choice of stay whenever in London.

The locations is amazing, clean apartment, the beds and bedding are good my only comment is the side beds and sofas requires refurbishment, which they said it will be changed next year. We stayed on the ground floor, everyone walking in the street we can hear their talks, and if we are in the living room our voice is heard in the reception area, do not recommend the ground level, choice the upper floor.

My family and I stayed at 130 Queen's gate once again during our recent stop-over in London. As always, we found the service impeccable, and the convenience and comfort accorded by the property unparalleled. It is within walking distance to 2 tube stations (South Kensington and Gloucester) and makes travel to the West End and central London a breeze. The property is also near to supermarkets, eateries and tourist attractions! Having stayed at 4 different hotel apartments in London over the past decade, we will definitely rank Queen's Gate as the best.

the concierge, VANGELIS made out trip. We were there for four nights visiting our grandson who was studying in London. Mr Vangelis arranged our theatre tix, made dinner reservations and recommended many good sites for all of us to visit. He was extremely helpful. He always had a smile.

We arrived at this apartment on a wet Friday evening to be warmly welcomed. We were upgraded to a two bedroom apartment which was warm, clean and very spacious. Everything one could need for a very comfortable stay. If one way staying more than the two nights we stayed the washer drier would have been very useful!! Our apartment was at the back of the building so away from the busy road. No view out of the windows, but this didn’t matter as it was still light in the rooms. We visited Knightsbridge shops, the V&A and Chelsea for dinner and for the Tutankhamun exhibition. All within 20 minutes walk. All in all much better than expected and thoroughly recommend.
