We stayed in room 102, gallery suite o 5th November 2016. Great room with very comfortable 4 poster bed. Lovely to be in a residential area in a hotel with all Italian staff. Very good full English breakfast. Excellent coffee. Good views from roof terrace. Next to King Road but far enough away to be very quiet. Very good restaurants... More

location perfect. Concierge's so helpful and professional. You knew as soon as they met you at the door that this hotel was a cut above. We just loved every second of our stay and we will be re-booking. We are very picky but this place is faultless!!!

I have to say that we loved our stay at San Domenico House. We would definitely stay there again and recommend to anyone looking for a small boutique hotel in lovely Chelsea. Everyone at the hotel without exception was extremely friendly and helpful before and during our stay. We had a 2 level suite. I think it was room 204.... More

My wife + I unexpectedly stayed in the honeymoon suite (photo top left of this) , it was cold on arrival + warm enough by the time we left 2 days later. The en-suite was grubby + poor e.g. plastic toilet seat (not soft-closing) + toilet roll holder and bath tap hanging off its base. Breakfast was 3 star not... More

Room was really nice and spacious - I had a balcony with a lovely view over Chelsea. Bathroom was great, spacious and clean. Location is great, right in the middle of Chelsea! Staff were very helpful, and really couldn't do enough for me.

The hotel is very nice with large rooms. We stayed in a gallery suite. We had plenty of room. The bed is only a full, so beware if you are used to sleeping in a king. The room has lots of amenities like robes, slippers and nightly turn down service. The towels are soft and really big. The hotel is... More

Did spend two nights on a business trip at the San Domenico, and been very impressed by the Hotel since the moment I walked in, a lovely town house very well converted in a small hotel. My room was very spacious on two levels, decorated in a very elegant colonial style, with lot of care for particulars, also the bathroom... More

San Domenico House is a beautiful hotel in a very convenient location. For those arriving from Gatwick Airport, Victoria Station and the Gatwick Express is an easy walk away. I loved the comfort and character of the room, and the staff were all very helpful. The quiet, elegant rooms felt like an oasis in the middle of London.

Staying in Chelsea

Neighborhood Profile
Chelsea
Wealth courses through The King's Road, Chelsea's upmarket artery of West London life packed with shops, eateries and glitzy nightspots. For people-watching at its best and luxury retail therapy that's largely unrivalled, this area cannot be missed. But if this showy street starts to overwhelm or a moment of price tag shock sends you reeling, a quick detour down pretty much any of many King's Road veins will reveal a quieter side of Chelsea. Here the stately Royal Hospital hosts its world-famous flower show, and the Thames rolls along at a lazy pace, with leafy Battersea Park and its Peace Pagoda beckoning from across the river.
