We only stayed two nights but I would quite happily have moved in. From start to finish we were welcomed, looked after amazingly and made so comfortable. It is 5* so you know they have their bases covered, however no small detail has been overlooked and they all add up to a superior experience. Even down to a lit candle...

After using Egerton House as my home base several times over the past 10 years, I'm now fully committed to staying there For All Time whenever I'm in London, and have urged friends and family to do the same. It is, hands down, perhaps the most welcoming, warm, delightful, and comfortable boutique hotels - or any hotel, come to think...

Another stay at Egerton House, this time with my grandson Max. What a pleasure to be there! So hospitable. Flawless service. Great comfort. The staff are like old friends. We've stayed in many good hotels around the world. Egerton House is not good: it's great!

We had the good fortune to wrap up our European vacation in London. We had been told by many to go to the Egerton House Hotel for one of Esley's famous martinis! We consider ourselves martini connoisseurs, and are thankful that we truly did find the BEST martini in Europe. Esley Gunaratne is so charming and gracious and set the...

I stayed here in August of 2015: The Egerton House is by FAR the best hotel experience I've had to date-- the staff and the impeccable efforts to personalize your experience at the hotel is what makes it so truly special and worth the stay. What makes this place stand out from any other hotel is their attention to detail....

Had an amazing afternoon tea with mum and close friends for a 60th Birthday. The afternoon tea was lovely and several little touches made it really special. Now for the twist...my friends Dog ALSO had afternoon tea! It's a dog friendly hotel and they were wonderful with him. Please see photos attached

Fresh Scones, tasty fresh ingredients, sandwich fillings go perfectly with the variety of breads, tasty fresh tea, great service. A warm and genuine welcome, service that came from the heart, and a perfect attentive crew that made our short visit an excellent experience. Without a doubt the best Cream tea we've ever had.

We enjoyed an absolutely fantastic stay here in March 2017. From the moment we checked in, every member of staff was genuinely friendly and attentive. The breakfast staff couldn't do enough for you! Special shout out also to the housekeeping team, who left a beautiful display of roses and candles in our room one evening (I won't ruin the surprise!)...

I visited this hotel as my mum came to visit me from Italy. She decided to treat me with a one night stay in occasion of my birthday. Everything from the start until the end was perfect. We were welcomed by a very nice young man who showed us around and took us to our room. As soon as we...

What set this place apart was that the staff somehow made us feel as though we were the only guests in the hotel. Every single interaction felt personalised and sincere, and the hotel is full of delightful little touches like Berocca in the mini-bar just in case you accidentally have one or four too many of their amazing martinis. We...

Staying in Chelsea

Neighborhood Profile
Chelsea
Wealth courses through The King's Road, Chelsea's upmarket artery of West London life packed with shops, eateries and glitzy nightspots. For people-watching at its best and luxury retail therapy that's largely unrivalled, this area cannot be missed. But if this showy street starts to overwhelm or a moment of price tag shock sends you reeling, a quick detour down pretty much any of many King's Road veins will reveal a quieter side of Chelsea. Here the stately Royal Hospital hosts its world-famous flower show, and the Thames rolls along at a lazy pace, with leafy Battersea Park and its Peace Pagoda beckoning from across the river.
