Egerton House is perfectly positioned for access to the V&A, Natural History Museum, Schacci Gallery, Parks, Harrods and other shops and great restaurants. The hotel itself is charming with considerate details everywhere. Rooms are cozy and comfortable with every need met. Staff are attentive and kind and especially Rosie is superb. I will return.

Dear Fathima D, I would like to begin by thanking you for your most kind and positively glowing review, it was a real pleasure to read this morning and brought a smile to my face. It is wonderful to see you enjoyed the proximity of the Egerton to many of London's finest galleries and museums, with many of them being within a short walk. In addition to the bountiful parks, Retail therapy offered by Harrods and many high quality restaurants, there is as much to enjoy outside of the Hotel as there is to enjoy in it. Thank-you also for your kind words on the team, with their attentivity and kindness being of notable quality. I am delighted that their attention to detail and tiny noticeable touches ensured that your time as our guest was as enjoyable as it was unforgettable. I will be certain to pass on your compliments to them and in particular to Rosie who you felt was superb and went above and beyond during your stay. We would be delighted to welcome you back once again to what we hope you now consider to be your London home from home. If there is anything we can do to ensure your next experience is as enjoyable and worthy of another 5* review then please do reach out and let us know in advance. Warmest Regards Michelle Devlin General Manager.

Hotel's Favorite
The Egerton House Hotel is exactly the kind of quaint, full-service, 5-star London hotel we had hoped for on our first trip to London, and it did not disappoint. A short walk up Brompton Road from the South Kensington underground station, one turns off the busy London thoroughfare to be greeted by the flower clad facade (in a nod to the Chelsea Flower Show) of the Egerton House - an “only in London” image. It was a hot afternoon and we were greeted at the small front reception area with refreshing strawberry infused ice water and the hotel’s homemade shortbread. Three cheers to Jacques who was our all-around reception host and concierge for our 3-day stay. He presented the highest level of the storied English service and efficiency one would expect from a 5-star hotel - all with a personal touch. The room was small, which we expected (and wanted) from this type of hotel, and incredibly comfortable and cozy. The bathroom has a large tub/shower. The king bed was incredibly comfortable. The windows opened for fresh air, and the air conditioner worked perfectly to cool down the room on the hot afternoons. And the room was beautifully and somewhat whimsically appointed and decorated. Breakfast was delicious. We didn’t have a chance to enjoy afternoon tea in the salon, but love that they offer it. We will stay here again on our next visit, and it will feel like coming home.

Dear Katie, It was an absolute pleasure to read through your truly thoughtful and in-depth review. It is simply wonderful to hear that your experience of the Egerton did not disappoint and you will be happy to hear that neither did your feedback. Where to begin with a review that fully encompasses all that we strive to achieve and offer our guests. I will agree that the exterior of the hotel is a real spectacle of colour and summer vibrancy. That theme is brought inside as well, through a continuation of out floral display and our summer refreshments table, which I am glad to hear quenched your thirst. Thank you for highlighting the exceptional service that you received form our team, especially Jacques to whom I will pass on your kind words and praise. I am also overjoyed to see that that our storied Egerton hospitality met your expectations, with our personalised service and efficiency achieving the 5 star standard. Our individually decorated rooms bring a true whimsical feeling to the hotel and its is pleasing to read that not only was your room incredibly comfortable but that you found it to be beautifully decorated and cosy. The team and I are delighted to hear that you will be retuning and we look forward to welcoming you back to your London home from home. Please dont hesitate to reach out directly for any and all future reservation enquires so we can ensure another perfect stay at The Egerton House Hotel, we will also make sure to book you in for one of our afternoon teas. Warmest regards, Michelle Devlin

The best of five star traditional English service. The staff are exceptional and all seem very genuine in the care and attention towards their guests. The location is great - tucked away from the frenzy of the crowds but they are accessible if you need them. The lack of gym onsite was not an issue given how close the park is for running and their partnerships with nearby facilities. Highly recommend.

The best hotel we've ever stayed in !! The hotel deserves higher than a 5*. The staff are attentive, friendly and professional. We stayed in a double room for my partners birthday and the personalisation was perfect. Concierge arrange balloons and drinks in the room and a handwritten card was also given. The bed was very comfortable, wish we could take it home with us! The decor is wonderful and little extra touches like tea, coffee, cookies, fruit and mini bar made such a difference. The breakfast was amazing and we thoughly enjoyed our stay.

Stayed for 2 nights to see theatre performances in London. We stayed in a luxury Queen’s room, had breakfast included. All members of staff are very friendly, breakfast was excellent in the small breakfast room. Had a great whiskey in front of the open fire. Room was well equipped, will definitely stay here again

I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough..Each and every member of staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. A particular shout out to Billie Jean who was friendly yet professional at all times. There were so many personal touches. I don't want to spoil the surprise for anyone planning a stay at Egerton House but it is the little touches and extra special service that makes this hotel stand head and shoulders above anywhere else I have stayed. Thank you Egerton for a wonderful stay.

This is a particularly lovely hotel. Service was impeccable. Food was delicious. I had a queen room and it was very well appointed. If I had one complaint (sorry) it was the construction that there had been no prior warning about. But I made do. I particularly like the apple pie!!
