My Husband booked a surprise visit to The Egerton House Hotel for our 5th Wedding Anniversary. He chose it apparently based on the glowing reviews but was still somewhat sceptical that the hotel could be ‘that good’. Well, from the moment we arrived until the moment we left; nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is a charming, boutique townhouse in the heart of Knightsbridge with the kind of hospitality you don't expect in Central London... The hotel is run by a wonderful Manager (Michelle) and her team clearly enjoy working for her. Each and every staff member we came into contact with was bright, cheery, helpful and professional. The decor is fabulous and the seasonal decorations -just beautiful. Our bedroom was comfortable, cosy and well appointed. I cant think of anything i’d change. The breakfast was fantastic and the lounge and bar area are charming. You must sample one of their famous Martinis! In summary a fabulous hotel with fabulous staff - a real hidden gem and we cant wait to return.

I had booked afternoon tea for 2 and a doggy afternoon tea for my 13 year old Westie and we loved every minute of it. Staff prior to our visit were amazing with some dietary requirements and organised a bear for Lola too. We received a warm call to confirm we were still attending the day prior to our booking and on the afternoon of our booking the dietary requirements were reconfirmed by the staff to ensure our afternoon tea was ready for our arrival. The hotel is a short walk from Harrods and looked stunning with their festive decorations adorning the outside of the hotel. From the moment we walked up to the steps, the door was opened for us, we were warmly greated by the team and then given a choice of seating areas ahead of being made comfortable at our table. The stunning decor continued throught the hotel and really added to the atmosphere. At our table, we were walked through all the different tea options and Lola's doggy afternoon tea options were all reconfirmed. The afternoon tea itself was beautifully presented and the cakes were amazing. The doggy afternoon tea was presented in 3 lovely ceramic dishes and looked fantastic. The attention to detail and ensuring Lola felt at home was amazing as she was given a comfortable blanket to sit on, which also meant she was able to sit on the furniture with the blanket, she was poured her water and fussed over by the staff. As we couldn't quite finish all our cakes, these were boxed up in lovely red branded cake boxes for us to take away with us and Lola received an extra portion of the homemade meat loaf and biscuits for her journey home - even this was careful wrapped and placed in a lovely glossy red gift bag. Just upon leaving, we were also given some giant candy canes as part of the festive experience. From start to finish we received excellent five star service from all of the Team and were made to feel like VIPs. I can't recommend a visit to The Egerton House Hotel highly enough and we have taken away some lovely memories of our time there with Lola so if you have a dog who you love to travel with then this is the place for you! Thank you again everyone for an amazing experience

Dear Lolawestieadventures, Thank you for taking the time to write this glowing review of your experience here at The Egerton House hotel. The entire hotel team takes such pride in ensuring that every guest has a wonderful time here and that all dietary requirements are catered for, so that everyone can enjoy their Afternoon Tea to the fullest. We loved getting to meet Lola and couldn’t help but make a fuss over her and ensure that she was comfortable and got to take a little extra of our homemade meatloaf that she loved so much. I am thrilled to read that you both enjoyed your visit so much and hope to welcome you back at The Egerton House Hotel soon, in the mean time I am sure Lola is looking after Edwin the bear and that he reminds her of us. Warmest regards, Michelle Devlin

We stayed in the V&A suite with a connecting room as a family of four, two of which were our young children. The Egerton House Hotel team went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Everyone was friendly and seemed genuinely excited to have us at the hotel. I highly recommend the afternoon tea, and I especially like the option for a vegan tea. This hotel truly is a hidden gem, where luxury and unpretentiousness meet to provide a perfect vacation. Thank you to everyone at the hotel for making our long weekend stay a dream.
