The Egerton House Hotel is located within a few blocks of Harrods, the Victoria & Albert Museum, Hyde Park (beautiful gardens), the Museum of Natural Science, and two tube stations for easy access to anywhere in London. The staff were friendly and helpful--traditional British concierge service--the breakfast generous and delicious, the rooms have updated amenities and are beautifully decorated with... More

A terrific oasis in London- a small luxury boutique--where the staff will take great care of you. After doing so much of what there is to do in this great city, it will be a welcome respite. I had a quiet room in the back facing private gardens. Although the rooms are small as is the case in most of... More

I cannot even begin to do justice to this hotel! It was probably the best hotel experience my husband and I have had...so much so we tried to change a reservation we had on the back end of our trip to stay here again. Unfortunately, the hotel was booked! The staff was outstanding. We truly felt that they genuinely wanted... More

Our first stay at the Egerton and we were not disappointed. Our room was beautiful, very spacious with a lovely big comfy bed. Our breakfast and food that we had in the bar was delicious and plenty of it. As always at Red Carnation hotels the staff were exemplary. Our special thanks go to Kathryn, Laura and Alex for looking... More

What a great hotel! Our three night stay felt more like visiting friends than staying at a hotel. The staff is more than incredible; more than friendly; more than just helpful. Our room was cozy, beautiful, quiet and thoroughly comfortable. The location could not be better, right off Brompton Road. Yet it felt like we were in a quiet neighborhood,... More

This is such an excellent boutique hotel. Housekeeping leaves behind little chocolates, shaving oils and wallets to surprise visitors! What's more- it was 35 degrees when we were there and they offered us ice cream! Great location, just 10 mins walk to Hyde park and harrods. Hotel is located in a quiet street off the main road. Can't stress how... More

Our stay here was perfect, nothing could be improved upon; our relaxing morning coffee and delicious lunch in the luxurious drawing room, our beautiful comfortable room, sumptuous breakfast and amazingly attentive staff from the moment we arrived, The Egerton made our celebratory weekend very special. Thank you to you all.

My wife and I stayed here with friends to celebrate our joint 30th wedding anniversary. This is a 5 star hotel but with a personal touch you couldn't get in any of the more famous and large luxury hotels, and in a perfect location. The rooms were luxurious and all the staff were very welcoming. They couldn't do enough for... More

After a hectic week of wedding planning & the event itself, myself and my wife visited the Egerton House Hotel for 3 nights of R&R. Upon arriving at the hotel we were greeted by Alex, who signed us in and showed us to our room - a true gentleman at heart. He was polite and most welcoming. We stayed in... More

We visit London each year and always stay at Egerton House Hotel. This year we spent 5 nights, 2 in May and 3 in June. The experience continues to be excellent. Returning each year to familiar faces and surroundings in one of London's best Hotels in the best location is always a great and memorable experience. It is faultless.

Staying in Chelsea

Neighborhood Profile
Chelsea
Wealth courses through The King's Road, Chelsea's upmarket artery of West London life packed with shops, eateries and glitzy nightspots. For people-watching at its best and luxury retail therapy that's largely unrivalled, this area cannot be missed. But if this showy street starts to overwhelm or a moment of price tag shock sends you reeling, a quick detour down pretty much any of many King's Road veins will reveal a quieter side of Chelsea. Here the stately Royal Hospital hosts its world-famous flower show, and the Thames rolls along at a lazy pace, with leafy Battersea Park and its Peace Pagoda beckoning from across the river.
