We stayed here this past weekend. I was initially nervous about the hotel, but when I met the very friendly check in staff, I was put to ease. Check in was hassle free, and the hotel was located in a good part of Cromwell Rd., close to the museums and plenty of restaurant choices nearby. The room was clean and...

We picked this hotel because it's in walking distance from Royal Albert Hall where we were attending a concert. The staff in the reception was very welcoming and, after check-in, actually walked us to the elevator and also showed us the breakfast room. There are long cooridors with twist and turns, the floor squeaky and covered with a beautiful carpet....

The welcome is second to none, principally extended by Mr Jubril who is alert to all the hotel's clients needs. The welcome makes a big difference to any hotel, as we looked forward to returning there everyday, knowing that we were not strangers in that hotel. The rooms are good, beds comfortable, clean barthroom and the room service is excellent.

Excellent location, 5 minute walk from Hyde Park, in a beautiful old building. Single room was small but bed was excellent. Wifi worked, etc. Staff were incredibly friendly. Breakfast great. Amazing value if you get a good deal.

Spent Wed night here with 7 work colleagues. Good location for the underground and the circle/district line past Westminster to Tower Hill. The hotel looks fantastic and is well maintained. The breakfast spread is excellent and there is something for everyone. I stayed in a twin room (327) which was adequate in size for 1 night but i didn't sleep....

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
