Centrally located hotel next to Gloucester Road tube station. Walking distance to shopping, restaurants and museums. It's a lovely and well maintained Victorian hotel with attentive staff located in a long row of five interconnected buildings. The room was spacious, clean and quiet even though it was facing Cromwell Road. I slept very well in the comfortable bed, it's actually...

Friendly and welcoming staff. The room were OK, clean and quiet. I really liked the hotel gym. The tube only a short walk from the hotel. We did not have breakfast at the hotel, but there were many other options nearby. Natural History Museum and Albert & Victoria just up the road.

The hotel is nice and a few steps from Gloucester Road underground. I stayed for 4 nights in a single room, tiny bathroom . In the room there is a kettle, iron and a hairdryer. No drawers to put the clothes but a wardrobe with light. Breakfast very nice ( even if it costs £15 per person per day and...

I was delighted with my stay at this hotel. The location was idea for walking into the city or taking the tube from the stop directly across the stop. Our room wasn't huge, but it was large enough for two people and the high ceiling and bowed window made the room feel larger. The bathroom was small, as other reviewers...

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
