This is the only hotel that anyone needs to stay at when in London. Location - Close enough (just a few minutes walk away) to Piccadilly circus, but far enough to have a peaceful goodnight sleep. Food - The food and service is faultless. We enjoyed the breakfast so much, we had seconds! The pastries are something I would like...

Dear nitubal, Thank you very much for your great review and kind comments about the whole team, who I know will all be very happy especially the Concierge team. As we all know breakfast is the most important meal of the day and both the operation and kitchen have been putting a lot of effort into ensuring we get breakfast...

I think this was our 6th stay at the Cavendish and I can't imagine staying anywhere else when visiting London. For us it's situation is perfect, the staff are friendly and efficient and our executive room had everything we required for a perfect stay. (Thank you Mr Braude) Then there is the wonderful buffet breakfast that caters for all tastes...

We stayed for one night over Easter and enjoyed a really lovely room with views over the rooftops towards the London Eye and The Shard. The Superior King room was very nicely appointed, with an extremely comfortable bed (we both slept well!). There were two decent armchairs to sit and relax and watch TV with plenty of space around. Bathroom...

We stayed overnight on Good Friday in the executive double room and yet again this hotel did not disappoint. We have stayed at this hotel on many occasions and never had any problems or issues. This hotel treats you like humans and not a number. The location is perfect and the service is excellent. Would not stay in any other...

Of course affordable is relative to other hotels in the area, so for some it may still be expensive. But this is a very nice hotel, in Jermyn Street minutes walk from Picadilly Circus, the Theatre district, Soho, etc. the hotel rooms are smaller but typical for Europe. They are clean, and well furnished. The hotel is not your typical...

Our main reasons for returning to the Cavendish are its perfect location for visiting just about anywhere in the West End and the City and the fact that, by London standards, it is very reasonably priced. However, the service is variable, though very good at breakfast, and we were not entirely convinced about the room cleaning nor the sound proofing....

I have stayed at the Cavendish numerous times and generally I love it. However, despite giving it 4 stars it has a few issues and I almost gave it only 3. The rooms are very good, albeit small. However, the service is patchy at the front desk and at breakfast. Breakfast in particular needs sorting out, especially since it costs...

Staying in St. James's

Neighborhood Profile
St. James's
Perennially fashionable since the days of Henry VIII, the aristocratic “Clubland” of St James's is a premier destination for high end craft and bespoke design. Here you’ll lose count of the Royal Warrants (which indicate that the Royal Family patronizes the establishment) seen in shop front windows, even during a short stroll to bordering Green Park or St James’s Park. With the brightly lit and constantly buzzing junction of Piccadilly Circus at its northeast corner and none of Central London too far away, this is an surprisingly central and accessible part of town, especially given its prosperous demeanor.
