We've stayed at The Cavendish before and found it ideal when visiting the West End. It isn't the most luxurious hotel but the combination of great location, comfort, service and decent value make it a compelling proposition for a central London stop-over. I had forgotten how good the staff are but, from the time we arrived to departure, we were delighted with the way they looked after us. Can't wait to return.

We are home from a lovely overnight stay. On arrival we had a friendly greeting. Easy check in & temperature check. Our room on the 10th floor. Not the biggest of rooms, but adequate. Nice big bed, a large walk in shower. With all you need eg shampoos etc. Coffee machine . We only found the kettle at the end of our stay in the wardrobe on a pull out tray. As we were only one evening we didn’t use the wardrobe. We had a lovely full English breakfast, cooked beautifully, hot and ample tea/ coffee & toast. But we were seated on sofas at a low table, not ideal to eat a breakfast from. As we wasn’t sitting up at the table, it was more leaning forward to eat our food. Not comfortable and definitely not how we wanted to eat. If you were 1 or 2 dinners you had a proper table & chair. Looking at previous photos on trip advisor it seems this isn’t the main dining room. I assume due to covid a smaller room is being used. But unfortunately we didn’t enjoy eating like this. But we couldn’t fault the service nor the lovely cooked food. The hotel is situated close to great shops & original old pubs. If we had the chance again we would definitely go back to the Cavendish Hotel

Well what can I say. The Cavendish hotel in London is absolutely incredible. From the front of house staff to the ladies and gents serving breakfast and the management team are just something special. We arrived early and our room was ready and we were upgraded to a lovely big room with a fantastic view of London. On the second day it was my birthday and there was a problem with the bathroom so the manager that day upgraded us to a penthouse suite and gave me a bottle of champagne for my birthday what amazing customer service thank you so much. I can’t wait to return with my friends and family. Absolutely fantastic you should be also proud of yourself thank you and see you all very soon.

Chose the hotel based on location and price, having returned from a one night stay I can confirm it represents very good value for money. We have stayed in better appointed hotels, but paid three times the price. In current times, there are clearly restrictions on what can be provided and how the services are presented, however I think the hotel and its staff dealt with all the restrictions extremely well. We stayed on a top floor room which was good, comfy bed, smallish bathroom but exceptional southerly views and the emblematic London skyline. What made the stay exceptional was the staff, from the room cleaners to concierge, staff at breakfast were all exceptional. Thank you. Particular shout out to Cristiana in reception, very efficient, genuinely nice and friendly. It makes such a difference to a stay. Big thank you.
