Bedding very clean as were towels. The Hotel however is in serious need of a makeover, very tired! The Staff were friendly but distant. I have given the Hotel 2 stars but only just. If your looking for somewhere to lay your head without the frills this will. I shan't be staying here again

This hotel is all about location, location; just off Oxford St., however it could do with a some tlc! My room needed a lot of attention like a paint job, new carpet, new curtains and a new bathroom! And some of the reception staff need a lesson in people skills, however the breakfast room staff were good. I won't be... More

So I booked this through Expedia secret hotels, and I can see why you wouldn't want to know where you were booking before you booked it! Expedia stretch the area description by saying it includes kings cross / st Pancras - no it's not - it's a good 45 + minutes walk. It's is pretty shabby, stains, scratches, frayed carpets.... More

OK so it's not Gleneages, it's not even the Travelodge by the side of the motorway in Newport, but in terms of somewhere to lay the head for a night it does a job. For someone who has stayed in hostels the world over I've stayed in worse, not much worse, but worse places. My problem being that I've never... More

We stayed here for several days. Upon check-in, the desk clerk was on a personal phone call, which continued for at least 10 mins before he gave us attention (while still on the phone). He also asked for full payment before we even saw the room. Our room, while small, which we expected, was quite shabby. The window locks were... More

Excellent location, very close to the Marble Arch underground and buses. You can walk to the centre of London and see some of the major attractions. Hotel facilities need renovation and breakfast is quite limited (but included in the price), but it’s a fair price for a few nights in London. Upper-storey room for 3 people was ok. Staff is... Rose Court Hotel is located very near Oxford Street and the marble arch tube station. It is a great hotel for both families and business when travelling on a budget. The rooms are spacious and clean. A strong wifi connection is offered in the rooms. The breakfast is fine. I have stayed in this hotel for the past 4 years... More

This hotel is situated just minutes away from Oxford Street/Marble Arch and Hyde Park which is fantastic. The rooms are fine, the bathroom door didn't have a lock function and it wouldn't close completely. Some of the staff were friendly but some were quite cold.I wouldn't recommend paying for breakfast as it is quite bad.Just croissants, jam, cereals, cheese spread, orange juice, milk, coffee. You would be served with scrambled... Stayed here for one night whilst at a works function. I booked last minute and so this was the only available place (within budget) near to where other colleagues were staying. It is in a fantastic location and sadly the plaudits stay there. Unfortunately it is just shabby and in dire need of a revamp. However, I think the owners... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
