During our 6 days stay, bed sheets not changed, towels aswell. It was very small and noisy room at 2nd floor. Wifi was not good. Windows were not closing properly, so always cold air was leaking to the room. Definetelly we will never come back here again.

2 night stay. Nice clean room in a pleasant hotel. Good location, near two metro stations. Reasonably quiet area, considering it's London. Amazing local eateries, cuisine from all over the world, 5 minute walk from the hotel. Very comfortable beds, but no drawers for clothing, just one wardrobe which is not easy to access due to tight space. A very...

We stayed in one of the studios for 4 people over new years eve for 4 nights. It was very clean, well appointed(good kitchen) and beautifully furnished with a fantastic homely feel. Bayswater was a great location for accessing all attractions around London with so many food & takeaway options around the studios as well as 2 tube stops close...

Generally everything here was very nice. It was homely as in the halls they have carpet entrances, travel gear as decorations, and there was a cat lounging in reception at one point. Staff on the phone and in person were happy to have us visit so we certainly felt welcomed when we visited, checkin/checkout was swift and straightforward. Reception has...

I stayed here for a week traveling solo in London. I had a balcony room for 6 nights and a single room for one night. Pros: -one of the more cost effective hotels in lobby - has a quaint English vibe - 5 minute walk from bayswater underground where you can hop on district or circle lines, and about a...

I had just the 1 night here and it was OK. Can't complain, but can't rave about it either. The staff were friendly enough, did their job and nothing more but that's OK. Room was small but had everything I needed. Wifi was OK, bathroom again small but adequate. £80 for the night probably about right, though a number of...

Stayed for 7 nights with my teenage son in a large twin room. The room gave us an excellent base of operations for our stay. After flying in on a red eye, we took the Heathrow Express to Paddington and the tube one stop to Bayswater. It is a very short walk to VC from there. It was easy to...

Perfect location with two complementary Underground lines close by, also many bus routes and a variety of food outlets & food shops. Hotel close (but not too close) to a busy road, so no anxiety returning late on foot. Room had everything needed for a multi-day stay.

I booked a studio apartment mainly because of the reviews on TripAdvisor. I was in room 306 which was small but had everything you need - though I did a bit of rearranging of furniture. On the negative side, going up so many flights of narrow stairs wasn't ideal and I would have preferred to be facing the courtyard because...

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighborhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighborhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
