We stayed in room 128, opposite this room was a bedroom we believe was being renovated... Multiple workers in high-vis (builders attire) were coming and going from the room, being very noisy, as well as using tools... It would have been nice to have been informed this was going to be happening across from our room during our stay - especially as it woke us early (just before 7am) on the Saturday morning of our stay... We felt a little disappointed with our room in comparison to the room we stayed in during 2019 - this time it was very small, the bathroom was discoloured, the bedroom floor was dirty and there was a heavy layer of dust on the bedroom skirting board... We are frustrated as we really like this hotel but it was disappointing how much the room had cost us considering the overall experience...
