We stayed at the Blakemore Hyde Park last weekend to attend the BST concerts in Hyde Park... A huge, comfy bed and a separate living area with dressing table/desk, fridge, tv and sofa, plus a lovely bathroom with bath and shower... A twenty minute walk to our concert venue in Hyde Park, a short bus ride into Oxford Street and a five minute walk to the tube to get further afield...

...The foyer is lovely and bright and welcoming...

...The superior room was spacious and clean... Some of the furniture was a little worn, but in general the hotel seemed relatively modern...

Maybe we were very unlucky with the room but definitely wouldn’t stay again & couldn’t recommended it...

We arrived at the hotel after hours of driving to a nice friendly welcome, and a free upgrade to an executive suite... Only to find out when walking into our room there’s a piece of paper on the desk saying there’s no water to the hotel at all... Worst thing is, as we left, they still weren’t telling guests about this issue, and just leaving them to find out by a piece of paper in their rooms...

We stay there for five nights in December... We stayed in an upgraded room as we had elected not to have breakfast included, and found ourselves on the first floor, with absolutely no view other than a brick wall, a few feet away... The room was adequate in size, but not as large as the pictures make it to be...

I walked by the hotel and was able to get the last room at a very reasonable rate for the Christmas time in London. The rooms are quiet, modern, and comfortable...

This looks like a nice hotel from outside and the reception, but the corridors and rooms are a little dated and need some work... The rooms are adequate, but for the price we expected larger rooms...

...Kensington Gardens, part of the Royal Parks, are close by so if you enjoy a stroll each day you have a magnificent setting to enjoy along with multitudes of dogs, squirrels, bike riders and mostly locals... You can walk past Kensington Palace to Kensington High Street and shop for just about anything... There is a nice little pub just down the road from the Blakemore and a Greek restaurant I can thoroughly recommend... Breakfast at the Blakemore has always been a treat - all the simple goodies in abundance... The hotel also now has its own restaurant on the ground floor... The underground is a short walk away...
