New Lobby & Restaurant launched in January 2019! This property has just completed a full renovation to the restaurant and main reception/lobby area. The hotel is situated in elegant Bayswater, just a 5 minute walk from Hyde Park. This newly refurbished hotel now resembles a more luxurious 4 star property with all the 5 star trimmings including gold tinted marble flown in from Italy and all furniture hand crafted to create a unique space to relax and unwind. The check-in process is made easy as you are welcomed in with the fragrant scent of fresh Jasmine then shown to our seated check-in desk where porters are on hand to assist with luggage. The Terrace Restaurant houses a stunning conservatory style seating area with floor to ceiling windows, a creative cocktail bar and a beautiful terrace to enjoy some al fresco dining in the summer months.

Stayed at the Blakemore with my wife and we found it to be very clean and comfortable. The bed was great as was the bathroom, we also liked that there was an interface to plug your own devices into the TV. The staff were helpful and friendly and there is a good selection of restaurants close by plus Hyde Park. We would stay there again

This hotel was well located for us and close to a number of underground stations. We even found it a nice walk from Soho and Covent Garden after dinner on two occasions. The room was pleasant enough with a large comfortable bed. However breakfast was truly awful. Due to Covid you ordered on a very basic tick sheet - using communal pens!. No fruit salad - but you could have a banana! The cooked breakfast was poor - underdone tomato, cold tasteless scrambled egg, and a single small slice of bacon. Served on a tea plate. Cheapest sliced bread used for toast. Despite Covid, we had to help ourselves to juice, tea and coffee from a table. So, everyone was touching the urns etc. I refused the tea as it had been stewing in the urn for so long, and they did bring me a fresh mug of tea. I would have expected a tea pot and coffee pot in a 4* establishment. All very disappointing and not Covid secure.

We stayed at this hotel for the weekend and although the room was nice, albeit a little small, the breakfast and restaurant service was terrible. We turned up before 10:30 and waited where the sign told us to. Multiple staff didn’t even acknowledge us waiting there, including the manager. When we finally got noticed we were rudely told where to sit. It then turned out that they had nothing we wanted to eat. We were left to wait and didn’t even get the breakfast we ordered. Then the manager came over and argued with us, he didn’t have his face mask on btw, and be tried to blame us! This manager then claimed he watched us waiting to be sat down and it was our fault we hadn’t arrived on time. I then pointed out we DID arrive on time and I asked him why he didn’t seat us himself if he supposedly watched us. He said they “had no tables available” which was a total lie as we could see the available tables and the staff were busy ignoring us to clear the tables. He walked away in a huff when I told him this. After arguing with the incredibly unprofessional manager, we were then served a plate of badly cooked scrambled eggs. That’s it. That’s all we got. This is meant to be a 4 star hotel and they served us bland tasting scrambled eggs served with a side order of attitude from the manager. Disgusting. We hardly ate anything as it was that awful. We made an official complaint at reception and we are seeking a refund for our breakfast cost, as we paid for both days but we didn’t go back the next day due to this rubbish experience. The breakfast is not worth the extra cost and neither is the managers attitude. The receptionist apologised when we complained but we never got an apology from him. I’ve worked in a 4 star hotel restaurant myself and I know this service we received is completely unacceptable. The McDonalds breakfast we had the day after was much better! I would advise you to avoid the breakfast at this hotel. It is NOT 4 star worthy. Bland food and awful service. Completely tainted our thoughts of the hotel. We won’t be coming back. Hope the manager learns to be more polite and professional because he has really let the hotel and his team down with his horrific attitude. Hope the chef learns how to cook scrambled eggs better too!

Couldn’t fault the hotel or its location- we were upgraded upon arrival and made to feel extremely welcome. Room was lovely and clean, and the bed was really comfortable. Only issue was some extremely noisy people upstairs on our first night, however we didn’t hear anymore from them after that.
