Terrible. Keep away. I asked to be moved and was told there were no other rooms available. Sorry. Then the Aircon kicked in around 23.00. the noise was horrendous. I was wired up to heart monitor to be returned the day after to Harley Street. We went downstairs, I let my other half deal with it so I could try to keep calm, and were moved in 10 minutes. Funny that. Different guy, different room availablity. Don't go. You have been warned.
Tiny room, clean. The lift is very very very slow. It says breakfast included, but when you go to the buffet it has two parts and you have to pay extra to get eggs etc., then why is it breakfast included? Location is okay not far from the underground station.
Tried to change a booking late due ti the corovirus issue... Manager was very unhelpful and wouldnt accept the change of dates ...so they took all the money for 3 nights booking although i didnt go to the hotel ... i have been staying in the hotel once a month for 2-3 nights each month for the last 6 months...They just took the money away. Totally unacceptable and no respect to a loyal customer.
We paid for an upgraded Executive twin room, with large granite bathroom , full engis and late checkout, at £15.95 per person per night. Our room was on the 5th floor and seemed to be an attic type room with sloping ceiling. The room was very small and the bathroom was tiny. We asked for our room to be changed and the manager was helpful, offering us a choice of 2 rooms ...1st room was also on 5th floor and was drab and dull with double bed and sofa bed. 2nd room was in the basement, it was large, with a small window which was totally barred with fire escape stairs right outside the window. The bathroom was great , the window was also totally barred. We opted for this as the best of a bad bunch. Unfortunately the room and basement area smelled of damp which didnt make for a very pleasant stay. The fire escape nearest our room had laundry piled behind the door, it wouldnt stop the door opening but would have been a nuisance to negotiate in an emergency.…
The bedroom we had was very small and the bathroom was extremely small, it was difficult to close the door once you were inside it and difficult to open the door once you were inside. If you full English breakfast you have to pay more for it. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. The hotel is clean and tidy and very warm. If you want a large room then try another one. OK for one night.
