The people in the lobby and in the breakfast area went out of their way to make this a nice stay. They offered two rooms and were very polite. However, the room itself was extremely warm and took hours to cool down a bit. Opening the window was not an option, as there was a lot of noise during the...

Have stayed here many times on past trips to London. Excellent, quiet location which has good access to the city via the central, circle and district tube lines. Bus routes are also handy and Hyde Park is just minutes from the hotel. Plenty of restaurants close by, as as well as a Boots pharmacy, Marks and Spencer and the Whiteley...

Great little hotel in central London. Clean & tidy, comfortable, great price inc continental breakfast. Really friendly staff. I've got zero complaints! I'd have no hesitation in coming back here again. In fact, will probably book here for my next planned trip in a couple of months. Fabulous value for money.

Stayed for one night - chosen for prize and location - and I was very pleased. My room was tiny BUT it had everything I needed. Clean towels, comfy bed, good pillows, plenty of hot water, really good telly, no noise, decent kettle and tea/coffee, hairdryer. My room was smart and modern - very little signs of any wear. Stayed on my own for just one night. The room was very clean with tea/coffee making facilities. The bathroom was also clean and a shower with plenty of hot water. Close to a couple of tube stations. Continental breakfast was good - plenty of choice and quite fresh. I was given a double room even though I had booked single,...

I just had the one night here when traveling for business but it was very good. I had a single room and the bed wasn't that comfortable, however I had a newly renovated private bathroom which was nice. It was also very reasonably priced and came with a decent breakfast. Service was good

We have stayed here before and the hotel has always been good value. However, we stayed there again last week and the hotel has gone through a great refurbishment. Our room was quite large for a London hotel and everything was new from the bathroom fittings to the large flat screen TV. The bed was a large double and very...

Knowing this area of London from previous visits, I booked this hotel to stay in whilst on family business last week. Only needed a single room, which was very clean and comfortable and exactly what I needed. Staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast was plentiful and of good quality. Will use again on my next visit.

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighborhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighborhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
