We had a wonderful stay in the hotel - Jackie went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed at dinner. Her bubbly personality and fun sense of humour really brightened our trip! Thank you so much to all the staff who have been working so hard during a very difficult time! Thank you for everything!
Location Location Location! Fabulous position directly opposite Kensington Gardens. We were given a balcony (think this may have been because we mentioned it was a birthday celebration) and it was wonderful sitting in the afternoon sun watching park goers around The Serpentine, a mere 100 metres away. We were also automatically upgraded from a standard double to a deluxe double due to having Booking.com Genius membership. The room number we stayed in was 111 and it had two sets of patio doors onto the extensive balcony. Both the doors, the ceiling height and room size were of generous proportions. We are definitely planning to return and would thoroughly recommend for the tariff we paid: £69.00 including complimentary breakfast!
Spent there 3 nights in a horrible room old , dirty not following the council procedure with the poorest breakfast had in my entire life : only a toast with jam. NOO even a juice mono portion! Plus at the booking time i kindly requested a room not facing the road avoiding my issue with sleep and i HAD a room on top of the main road exactly on top of the bus stop.!!!! Just watch the picture as they properly show how it is and you can make your mind up.
I spent nearly all of the lockdown in the London Elizabeth hotel, from mid March to mid June. Another big hotel chain I was staying in abruptly closed their doors with just 2 hours notice. I was so glad to find the London Elizabeth. I can not praise the staff here enough. I felt so welcome from the start. Safvon, Mahsa, Thomas and the chef treat their guests as real people, not just paying customers. Always smiling, friendly and ready to help in any way needed. The house keepers were just as nice too. The hotel is in a nice part of central London next to Hyde park which is lovely. My room was comfortable with a balcony and a nice bathroom. The decor in my room was to be honest a little dated, but I would over look this because there are so many merits to staying here. The biggest asset to this hotel are the people that run it! They are lovely! They are gradually refurbishing too, so some rooms will be freshly finished. I will always make the London Elizabeth my first choice for staying in London in the future. The big chain of hotels I have always used before have lost me. Considering the location it is great value for money too! I would score the staff 5 stars! Peter.…
