I stayed here for 1.5 months when I first relocated to London. It's in an amazing location, with the tube station merely steps away. The room is decent, amenities are of high quality although not all of them look new. Laundry room is on the ground floor and although it's mentioned that you get free laundry once per week, the tokens were always unavailable and the front desk staff wasn't always helpful with it. If you're thinking about working in the room, the experience won't be best because the room is so dark. My curtain couldn't be fully opened for some reason so my eyes felt really strained at the end of the day. Soundproof is also bad. There was a family with two young kids living next door for about 2 weeks while I was there. The crying and screaming sounded as if it was right next to me. Getting help from front desk was quite frustrating as well. Most of the time I got a confused reaction when I stated my queries. For things like where is the best pick up location for taxi when I move out, or requesting for a dish scourer. They didn't seem to be well trained to help the guests, nor make us feel welcome. Building is quite old so be ready for major wear and tear. During my time there, I've witnessed broken main door, collapsed ceiling at the walkway, and a malfunctioned elevator.

Booked a 1 bedroom apartment for a couple of nights, as a family of four. Arrived at 11am to be advised that the room wasn’t ready - which is understandable, however returned at 5pm and the room was still not ready! Not ideal with two children and no apology for the delay. We eventually checked-in and I’m not convinced that that room had actually been cleaned. Sub standard living area, dirty sofa bed; covered in pen marks and stains! Bathroom was moldy. Overall the location is great, but I’m not sure that I’d return.

I stayed for 2 months in this hotel while working in London in the summer of 2021. Will try to cover everything in this review! Location: you can see on the map that the location is great, it's right in the middle of central London. Holborn station is 2 mins away and is on the Central and Piccadilly line. The Piccadilly line is convenient for getting to museums (e.g. V&A, Natural History, Science). For groceries there is a medium sized Sainsbury's and Waitrose practically right outside. Room: I stayed in a Studio room. The bed was a 'superking', absolutely gigantic, but could have done with plugs closer to the bed – charging your phone while using it on the bed isn't possible with a standard 1m cable. The desk and chair were good enough to comfortably do some work from. One of the plugs by the desk was broken but there were still enough. The shower is fine, no complaints about the water pressure here, but the shower curtain sometimes didn't 100% stop water from getting to the floor. The bath worked fine too. The kitchen was good, there are two hobs, a microwave, and a fridge with an effective freezer compartment. The hobs are electric and take some time to warm up but work well. Pans, plates, chopping boards, etc. are all there when you arrive. Obviously don't plan to make a full Sunday roast but you can make a proper meals without a problem. When the bin is full you take the bag to the rubbish chute. There's a small table and chairs where two people can sit and eat, but I wouldn't exactly call it comfortable as it is pretty small and low. There is a TV with standard channels, maybe 50 or so? There's also a large wardrobe with hanging space and a chest of drawers. In a cupboard by the entrance there is an iron, an ironing board, a hair dryer, and a safe. The air conditioning worked well. I was facing the main road, High Holborn, on the third floor, and with the window closed it was quiet enough to sleep. There is still some noise on Friday and Saturday nights but you can mask it with air con hum. With the window open it's much louder, especially during the day. Regarding noise from neighbouring rooms, I didn't have a problem apart from a few days at the end where the guy next door was full on shouting, though I was staying in Covid times so I don't think I had people next door the whole time. WiFi: works throughout the hotel, I got about 80mbps download and 60mbps upload speeds in my room which was enough for any kind of normal use. Lobby: there are tables, sofas, chairs, music playing quietly. There is also a free coffee machine that does a pretty good espresso and your cappuccino, flat white, etc. It was really great to have, I loved it. There's a dispenser for water that is really cold and tastes better than the questionable London tap water. There is a locked luggage room just off the lobby where you can put your bags on check-out day, go out and come back later for them. Gym: it has a treadmill, bike, crosstrainer, weights, a leg trainer and an arm/upper body trainer. It's pretty small but it was almost always empty when I went. Definitely does the job. Laundry: the washing and drying machines work with tokens, or rather, they are supposed to. Be prepared to make several trips back to reception to swap out for a new token and try again. When you do get them working, the washing machine is good and automatically dispenses detergent, but for heavier loads the tumble dryer on max heat still left clothes slightly damp. Staff: the staff are very friendly and helpful, check in was easy and they were accommodating of requests. Food was on pause due to Covid so can't comment on that. Overall I found it a pleasant place to stay!

The appartment we had was very spacious for a family of four with older teenagers. There was a separate double room and an appartment main area with large sofa bed and kitchenette off to side. Both rooms were very clean and everything to a high standard including bathroom and a separate toilet room. The facilities were as described by hotel with everything we needed including a good size fridge, dishwasher, kettle, hairdryer, ironing and microwave, plates and cups etc . Good location 15 minutes walk from Covent Garden. Near holborn underground. Plenty of shops in local area ( Waitrose and M&S) for breakfast stuff. We did a lot of shopping and went to the theatre and this hotel was just great for this and I would definitely use it again.

We loved this aparthotel, it served us really well and was in a fantastic location close to Covent Garden and Holborn tube station. The staff were excellent, looked after luggage and were on hand if we had any issues. Our room was third floor at the back and was very quiet apart from the Saturday night when there was music playing into the early hours from an adjoining building, but not so loud that you couldn’t sleep. There were a few small issues with the dishwasher and a window which didn’t really bother us too much but I flagged them up to reception, which I had to go out if my way to do. On check out no one asked if everything had been ok, hence 4 stars. We had a one bed apartment which worked well for us and a teen - who didn’t complain about the sofa bed so must have been comfy! The kitchenette was good for breakfast and making drinks. There were several cafes, a Waitrose and a bakery opposite and we enjoyed popping out to grab bread and a latte in the morning. Due to Covid they weren’t doing breakfasts, but the lounge area was very nice with a free coffee machine Lovely little home from home. Would definitely stay again.
