You could not find a more perfect location than this hotel. It definitely is located in the center of it all. The staff was extremely friendly upon check-in and I appreciated that I did not have to wait until 3pm to get into my room. I have only one complaint about his hotel, the furniture in my room was pretty old and ratty. I was very surprised when I entered my hotel room and saw this, I almost walked out! This is much too nice of a hotel to not have beautiful, modern furniture in the rooms. I enjoyed my stay so much that I decided to stay another night and they were very accommodating. They went above and beyond having a taxi waiting for me for an early flight to catch and they even escorted me to my cab. I like that this hotel is right on LEICESTER SQUARE, so no cars are allowed in, which allowed for the square to be quiet at night. Other than the old furniture, I rate this hotel a 10!

I had a fantastic stay and wish I'd caught the name of the wonderful lady on reception, what a star you have there Mr Radisson Blu!! I'm not a fan of large chain hotels, preferring the quirk of independents, but on this occasion, the combination of great price and great location made this a no brainer for my itinerary. It goes without saying that if you want to be in close proximity to theatres, restaurants and tube stations, Leicester Square is a superb base. I feared this might mean a noisy room, but this certainly wasn't the case for me, my Premium room, up on the 7th floor, was a cocoon of peace and tranquility. And what a view from the window! (photo attached). Premium rooms are spacious, with a pleasant, fresh but traditional decoration. They offer a mini-fridge (albeit empty) and hot beverage making (albeit just 2 measly teabags!). I didn't dine in-house but the hotel has a restaurant overlooking Leicester Square, alongside its Pommery Champagne Terrace Bar. Would return, lots to commend.

Rooms very clean. Hotel is very well appointed with all that you need during the stay. Furniture in the room is dated however still very useful and comfortable. Thick quality room curtains block out the bright lights of Leicester Square. Breakfast in the hotel is outstanding, wonderful selection of fresh food. Staff in the dining room took care of our family well during the stay. If you ADD breakfast with your room at the time of the booking or check in the charge of the breakfast is much cheaper. Hotel dining not available on Monday and Tuesday nights, missed opportunity here as the restaurant for dinner is sensational. Very warm welcome when you arrive, easy check in process. Small GYM with cardio machines. If you are after something right in the heart of the tourist area in London this is the place. So much food/entertainment/pubs/bars within metres of you leaving the hotel.

I have been going to the Radisson Hotels for years , it was my favorite hotel, when arriving i would be treated like VIP, however it has all changed , since it has been taken over from the new company they have taken everything away that use to make the hotel enjoyable and special , its not anyway near a 5 star hotel ! For the price you pay you would expect a lot more . No longer do you get bath robes and slippers in the room , i was told only the suite get them , so if you pay for the superior or executive rooms no robes but you pay premium price . Down in the main bathrooms you no longer get towels to dry your hands ,instead tissue paper the one you use for your nose , as you dry your hands it all sticks and break on your hand.I was so disappointed but yet you pay ÂŁ450 for a night , the only reason i stayed was thanks to the staff Adina and Usman that did there best. So sad to say after years of loyalty i will no longer be going there any longer . Better hotels in London for the same price .

We chose this hotel due to its great location for the West End theatres
The lobby area is modern and clean looking.
Rooms are dated and tired, we were upgraded to a Square view but couldn’t see much as the windows were filthy.
Post theatre rather than visit a loud busy pub we thought we would enjoy a glass of wine in the hotel bar before bed. No such luck, the bar shuts ridiculously early at 10:30!!!! Told we could order room service but really didn’t want to sit in our room. I have never heard of a large chain hotel at the weekend turning away hotel guests, it’s shocking this is supposed to be a 5* hotel in a capital city on a weekend!!
On complaining we were offered a glass of wine, great for us but nothing for the other guests also looking to enjoy a late drink.
Breakfast wasn’t great, the food was lukewarm even after just being replenished. Raised this with the server whose response was, “well you should come down at less busy time really” Not helpful! Had to ask for plates as none had been put out on the servers, some of the staff looked like they really didn’t know what they should be doing.
Tables were beyond slow at being cleared, the staff seem to have developed a skill for looking busy but actually doing zilch! Surely the staff shouldn’t return to a kitchen empty handed when the restaurant is busy. It was almost amusing watching staff picking up 1 cup off a cluttered table but not returning to clean the rest away.
Such a shame because we use Radisson hotels worldwide a lot but thinking twice about using this brand now, based on this hotel.

Have emailed twice prior to arrival advising I was bringing wheelchair dependant mother for special visit, specifically stating mother needed a walk in shower as she was unable to use bath . Just checked in for 5 nights at a cost of over ÂŁ2,300. Disabled access door to hotel does not work which means a struggle to prise door open and manoeuvre wheelchair in , the same problem accessing bedrooms with heavy doors. Biggest problem is over bath shower , and as previously advised hotel this was unsuitable as mum is unable to climb into bath. I really feel it is out of order to charge that amount of money yet not be able to offer a disabled guest shower facilities for a 6 day stay. Voiced my concerns at check in but no other solution offered as another disabled guest already has disabled room.

I had emailed the hotel prior to our arrival that my family had allergies to fungus and molds. The hotel promptly replied that we can expect that the rooms we booked will be up to standard. We weren't disappointed. The rooms were so clean, the cups, glasses and utensils were even individually sealed in transparent plastic! Housekeeping was so thorough and they checked ever so frequently. You cannot find a better location in London. It's in Leicester Square and a few steps to the park, movie houses, restaurants, Covent garden, Lego, M&M store, Chinatown and theaters. The vibe in Leicester Square was incredible. We had a coffee machine in the room. That was all that I needed. :) My rating out of 5 stars: Location : 5 stars Staff: 5 stars especially housekeeping Food and drinks: We weren't able to dine in their restaurants Bed: 4 stars Pillows: 5 stars Bedsheets: 5 stars

Great location on Leicester Square but an awful hotel. Supposed to be a 5 star hotel but service and rooms more 3 star standard. No doorman,no offer of assistance with luggage, not offered 2 keycards for room. The room itself was very shabby with peeling paint and worn furniture. Worst of all was the bathroom. It was tiny and with brown discolouration around the bath and gaps around the sink.It was disgusting!

I emailed the hotel beforehand to inform them that my family have allergies to molds among other things. I was promptly assured they would have the rooms ready to standard when we arrived. Sure enough, when we checked in, you could tell that the rooms (we booked two) were pleasantly sanitized. I mean, the utensils, glasses and cups are individually wrapped in clean, clear plastic! Housekeeping was just so thorough everyday!
I personally appreciated the expresso machine in the room.

Really disappointed, booked our stay here 4 months in advance for a Birthday visit to London, booked early check in for our rooms to coincide with train times thinking we'd be able to drop our bags and freshen up before hitting the shops, from the minute we walked in you could tell it was going to be awful, Staff had absolutely no idea what they were doing, rooms weren't ready even though we were later than the early check in time, we were told to give them an hour so went off to explore, we returned 3hrs later so now past the regular check in time, we were told only one room was ready, we were taken to said room to find someone else's luggage in the room, we then had to wait while they located our luggage, they then informed us that we were actually in the wrong room, we were eventually taken to the correct room and reunited with our luggage but our second room still wasn't available, we decided to go out again for something to eat, upon returning our second room was now ready but the hotel was so busy had to wait 30 minutes for a room key, upon settling in the rooms they were found to be very cold, tired and worn out, bathrooms were clean but so dated, I can't remember the last time we stayed anywhere so run down and can't believe we actually paid for our time here. The level of service and accommodation at this hotel is no where near the standard you expect from a Radison and certainly comes no where near the 5 stars it's supposed to have, I actually think they should be reported to trading standards as people make bookings based on the standards they expect with it being listed as 5 stars, anyone thinking of staying here, do yourself a favour and find somewhere else, the Londoner next door is very good!!
