Trafalgar Square / Embankment
With its iconic Nelson’s Column, majestic oversized lions and brightly-lit fountains, Trafalgar Square is not just considered the heart of this bustling London hub, but the very core of the city itself. Beyond this esteemed gathering place are more famous icons, as well as a disproportionate numbers of the city’s most popular cultural attractions including the National Gallery and many West End theaters. Along the way to these major sites are quiet lanes and antiquated pubs to discover, as well as riverside vistas to enjoy on the embankment. With a calendar full of celebratory events, any time of year is a fine time to visit.

On our 28th Anniversary holiday in London, we carefully selected this property based on the great reviews. Boy are they accurate. Upon a late arrival, we were warmly greeted by two of the kindest and nicest staff members you could hope to meet at a reception desk: Michael and desk manager Jairo. They went out of their way to find us a spacious room (complimentary upgrade), threw in a complimentary breakfast and Michael graciously offered to send up a glass of wine or dessert to make our day even more special. We were then escorted to our room by Michael who took the time to go over all features and amenities. This level of commitment to customer service is rare - even at the 5 star level. Michael and Jairo have inspired us to try other Radisson Blu properties elsewhere. The property is wonderfully located in the heart & excitement of Leicester Square. Theatre District around the corner as is Covent Garden and Trafalgar Square. The rooms are plush, spacious and chock full of high end amenities and features such as one would expect at this level. We could not be more delighted with our choice and wish to thank these two splendid fellows for making our stay so unforgettable. Most HIGHLY recommend this hotel....

Close to almost every theater in London's West End. Great place to stay. Lovely staff. Rooms are small but no need to spend too much time in the room! In the middle of all the Leicester Square activity, but very quiet and safe.

I am a regular user of Radisson Hotels and this was booked on loyalty points. On arrival reception was excellent- we were a bot early so they said we would have to wait a while for the room but it was available within 10 minutes. Room was excellent - good size and clean. Breakfast was included and this was also excellent. All staff we interacted with- reception, doorman, turn down service and restaurant service were all first class. This hotel is also in a fantastic central location. Thanks for a wonderful stay for what was a special anniversary celebration.

Perfect location in the center of possibly the most socially happening place in London, Leicester Square and immediately behind Trafalgar square. Museums, art, theatre, street performers galore, a variety of cuisine to try with in walking distance and connected to every part of London by tube literally a 100 yards away. Also within minutes of Soho and China town, Picadilly square and the theater district. This hotel is an oasis of comfort and peace in the middle of such an active place. The rooms are very spacious and everything is immaculate and very thoughtfully put in place. Beginning from treats to greet us on the day we arrived to chocolate covered stawberries on July 4th, the service was beyond anything we could expect. Staff are genuinely friendly. Everyone from the reception staff (especially Eva), concierge, bellman housekeeping, etc, etc are thoughtful, kind and friendly. We felt that each and every member of the staff were invested in making sure we had the best stay. This hotel and it's staff helped to make our first family trip to London a wonderful experience and we will be sure to return in the future. We are especially grateful to Georgina from housekeeping who was kind enough to keep safe, our 9 year old daughter's highly treasured pink stuffed seal which was accidentally left behind. Georgina, Eva and the other wonderful staff made sure that the seal was safely returned to us, turning tears into smiles for a small child. We cannot say enough about our experience and recommend this exceptional, warm and family friendly hotel without reservation.
