My partner and I have recently spent two weeks at the Novotel Waterloo. The room was clean and comfortable, we were in a fantastic location and able to access all transport very easily. It was a fabulous way to see London and very easy to get back to, in the evening when we were exhausted. The breakfast was good quality and substantial. The staff were always very helpful, friendly and happy to share useful information about London. Our plane was delayed and the staff happily arranged a late check out for us as the room was not booked back to back. This made the end of our trip very comfortable, we did not check out until 1700hrs.

I would give the hotel 5 stars but the restaurant staff in the evening are abysmal. No regard for customer service. The food is excellent when you get it. They have no excuse not busy -Breakfast & staff great in morning. Asked several times for tea & milk in room to be replenished even left note- ignored 🤔. After a ‘not good enough’ they were slightly better in restaurant. Shame like staying here

The hotel was lovely and clean. We stayed in a junior suite which was a great size- the bathroom was huge! It was spotless and the Nespresso machine/robes and slippers were a nice touch! We had a great night sleep and couldn’t hear any noise at all. The hotel is in a great location with Southbank only a short walk away. Overall we had a fantastic stay and I would definitely recommend this hotel!

The family at AtlasAdventured highly recommends staying here! Awesome hotel. It is in a great location within walking distance to Buckingham Palace, the Thames, Big Ben, and just a few minutes drive to Waterloo Station. The lobby of the hotel is very clean and modern, and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The rooms are great. Spacious, clean, comfortable beds, and good sized bathrooms. A kettle with tea and coffee is provided. The hotel is very kid friendly. Upon arrival, our toddler was given a little Novotel stuffed animal, and inside the lobby there is a little kids' corner filled with toys! Our daughter thought this was the best thing she’s ever seen. The hotel has everything you need with parking on site, a restaurant that serves breakfast, and a gym. Next time we are in the area, we will definitely be staying here!

I am currently staying at this hotel. Upon initial arrival the lady on reception was unable to check me in but she was lovely and stored my luggage for me. I then had a meeting until 7.30 pm so arrived back for check in, totally different experience, the make checking me in wasn’t really friendly at all. Having worked 14 hours I decided to ring for room service to eat and rest. After speaking to three different members of staff and waiting an hour for a promised call back from the restaurant it was clear I wasn’t getting any food. I accept at times it can be busy so I thought I would go down and try to order. Waited five minutes to be even seated and when I did sat there for twenty minutes and wasn’t even served or spoken too. The poorest hotel service I have ever experienced. I’m currently awaiting a just eat take away, my room is fantastic but if you want to eat here make alternative plans!!!!

After reading the other reviews on this hotel (some not great), I was really worried. HOWEVER ...... from entering the hotel to leaving, the staff were excellent. Our room was very clean. The beds were really comfy. The breakfast was fine with lots of choices. The kids loved the kids area near reception. It is so central. I would recommend if your a family going to Brewdog waterloo, as it is so geared up for kids at night time. Best bit of our whole London trip for the children, was the hotel. Thankyou Novotel we had a great time 😊

Not a bad hotel; does have parking which is very convenient. Location is ok. Do not take any cash at all which was rather inconvenient. Beds were a bit hard, but room was nice and clean. Fridge did not work and other customers stated the same. Room service was extremely slow as well. Took around an hour to receive. A little expensive for what you get.

Dear Jane S780, We very much appreciate your comments regarding your stay at the Novotel London Waterloo. After pandemic we indeed decide to go cashless as many other businesses in London. I am sorry to hear that you found our room service not as quick as you would expect- it will be share across the team for future improvements. Our minibar chillers are not fridges hence they will not provide as much cold as house fridge. We hope that despite small inconveniences you will stay with us in the future.

The hotel is ok. Reasonably modern and nice location on the Thames. About 20 mins walk from Waterloo through Lambeth park or along the Thames, but slightly awkward and you wouldn’t want to do it solo in the dark. Rooms are ok, bed comfy, a bit noisy near the back goods entrance. However the food / bar experience is poor. Mediocre food for dinner served at a dirty table with no salt / pepper, etc. I was also charged £1 for slices of lime in my soda!! Unbelievable. Plus when you order a drink at the bar (no table service) you’re automatically charged a 10% service charge - just for ordering a drink. I would recommend saving your money and ordering delivery. Breakfast nothing special. Chaotic table arrangement makes it challenging.

Stayed here many times over last few years. I really like the fact the rooms are a decent size for London and as I travel alone for work I love that I can connect my devices to the very large TV and play Netflix, BritBox etc. hotel isn't the easiest to get to as no tube very close. With luggage or mobility issues or people nervous to walk alone at night this hotel is best reached by taxi/ Uber etc. I tend to get Uber from Euston at circa £15 as I struggle to get taxis often at Waterloo station (which is closer). Main downside is breakfast - really very poor now, choice much more limited than most hotels I stay in and my last three visits here the sausage has been cold and today undercooked, hash browns overdone and just generally a poor experience. If I had to pay for it I wouldn't.

Pleased with hotel location, reception staff helpful, room was comfortable but cupboard doors came off the hinges when opened, I forgot to mention this on checkout. Only problem we had was in the bar, a Baileys was ordered and when given it was a 25ml measure, this was queried at the time as a standard Baileys should be 50ml the bartender was quite rude that 25ml is the management rules, it was so small in the glass it hardly showed over the ice, we were told we had to order a double and pay twice the price! I suggest you check the regulations on measures as I believe we were wrongly overcharged.
