Recently while visiting Wandsworth to visit a family member we called in to the Alma Hotel initially for a drink but ended up having an evening meal there. The service was very friendly and excellent overall. The three of us had fish which was very nice and good value.

I stay at the Alma regularly for business and pleasure. The rooms are stylish, comfortable and a generous size for London. The hotel is well connected for central London just across the road from Wandsworth Town Station with trains running to Clapham Common, Vauxhall and Waterloo. Staff are friendly and breakfast is always a treat. Hotel rooms adjoin the Alma...

We stayed 6 nights at The Alma and it was a great hotel, the rooms are spacious, king size bed, large bathroom, a hot breakfast included in room price. The staff is wonderful and is quick to handle all your inquiries. The hotel is directly across the street from the Wandsworth Town train station entrance. We purchased the Oyster Card...

Found myself in inner London, saw this quaint pub and wandered in looking for some refreshment. The establishment was charming as were the quite helpful staff there, serenading me to stay on for most of the night. The traditional fish and chips and beer probably hurt my diet adding more calories than I would care for but it was well...

As London Hotels go, The Alma is very reasonably priced. The location in South London is very convenient with an Overland train station across the street and a bus station at the door with buses that take you to the heart of London I booked last minute through the hotel website and decided to splurge for a one-night booking by...

The private bar upstairs was efficiently managed, We were able to order individual lunches from downstairs. Hubby and I had fish and chips and the fish was excellent,...

We did not overnight, but thoroughly enjoyed a private function in the bar and upstairs in the more personal surroundings of the Alma's Bramford Room. The staff were polite, attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The private bar upstairs was efficiently managed, sadly lacking the usual Youngs' beers but obviously available downstairs. Great burgers too. Love the traditional format...

Very conveniently located across the street from the Wandworth Town underground stop. It is easy to get trains from there to any part of London. The hotel is very cosy and quiet. Our room was right above the entrance and near the stairs, but we rarely heard foot traffic or other guests. The room was very comfortable and had nice...
