My wife and I just returned from a weeklong trip to London, including our (first) stay at The Resident. In short, we had a great experience at the hotel. The staff was exceedingly helpful and friendly. Our room was small (by design), but very comfortable and efficient. Kitchenette, closet space, and bathroom were all welcomed and supremely functional. Location on a quiet street a short walk from Earl's Court Tube station. We took the Underground from Heathrow to Earl's Court with minimal expense (£3.30 peak/£1.90 off peak with Oyster card) and fuss, and Earl's Court is very well-positioned to get to all parts of Central London in under 30 mins Tube + walk. 15-minute walk to Kensington and all its sites. We'll be back the next time we visit the City!

Hotel's Favorite
This was our latest stay at the hotel and there was nothing to disappoint. From the friendly and helpful staff to the well appointed room, we had everything we needed. The kitchenette area was a godsend as we were able to cater for ourselves when we needed to. The location is great for travelling to the host of attractions London has to offer. There were so many within a reasonable walking distance (especially if this was on a strike day) and if slightly further, the tube or bus connections were readily available. We'll always choose to stay at the this Resident hotel when we return for future holidays.

Dear Michael M, Thank you for again for a such lovely review following your return visit with us. Happy to hear that again we have exceeded your expectations and that we have everything you needed this visit. Our kitchenette is indeed very convenient to have, can easily store food and snacks. A great money saving tip. It is also good to know that we offer a fridge refill service, you simply give us a food grocery list prior arrival and we do the shopping for you. Something to consider on your next visit. We look forward to welcome you again! Kind regards, Edgardo Cruz Reception Manager

We just returned from our trip to England. We spent 5 nights at the Resident Kensington. It is a lovely and cozy hotel. It is beautifully maintained, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The location is also great being only a block from the London underground. We'll definitely stay again.

We were thrilled with the proximity to the Earl's Court tube stop and with all the neighborhood had to offer. There was a great bakery/coffee shop across from the tube and a lovely pub on the corner. The staff was super helpful and friendly, able to answer all of our questions and provide great tips on getting around and enjoying London. Room was immaculate and spacious. Neighborhood was quiet but not sleepy. The bed was comfy and the free bottle of red wine was a great welcome gift. Would definitely stay here again. Hopefully soon!

Room was a little tight, however, while the hotel was fully booked, never heard any noise from other rooms. Great location—good restaurants within 15-30 minute walk (Phillies for breakfast, Tendido Cero great tapas). Walk a block for the Piccadilly underground. And last, but not least, everyone at the hotel was extremely helpful and pleasant to deal with.

I found the hotel on the SLH in London website. I wanted to spend three days in London to celebrate my birthday and I wanted to do it in style. And that's what happened in my Deluxe room and thanks to the whole staff. A special mention to Maria, Angelina and Gemma. Edgardo was the icing on the cake: a real Chocolate Delight!!!

I love staying here and find the kitchenette in the closet so well outfitted - simple, clean with everything you need including Nespresso machine, kettle, microwave, fridge plates...which for me is a huge bonus. Rooms are small (small double is where I stay) but everything you need is thoughtfully supplied and feels the right level of luxury for a value price. The bathrooms are spotless and serene, fixtures and amenities are of a very good quality. The hotel is quiet and the service is excellent. Location also excellent easy walk to underground, M&S food, other eateries, shops, quiet and safe.

Dear claudiadO8570AE, Thank you for the perfect 5* review following your stay. I couldn't agree more. Our kitchenette is indeed a great bonus and it is was seperates us to other boutique hotels. Having a kitchenette equipped Nespresso machine, microwave, Brita filterred water, etc. provides convenience to our residents. It is also good to know that we provide a fridge refill service wherein we restock your kitchenette. Simply provide us a food grocery list and we will do the shopping for you.
