Great service. Though our trip was cut short due to COVID-19, the staff was extremely helpful with our check out and asked if we required any additional help with getting to the airport or any other items.

Hotel's Favorite
This is the continuation of my epic solo journey. I am a superfan of a band called the Hu. After seeing them and hearing how nuanced and yet hard they play, using traditional instruments and throatsinging, I confess I allowed my enthusiasm to blind me and I got ripped off by a shady Instagrammer. I felt crestfallen and realized I love these guys. I love their costumes, their skills as musicians, and their presentation. So I booked tickets for other dates in England, not knowing whether I would or could otherwise go. I booked vacation and took some savings to just "go". And my crazy gamble is beyond exciting, frustrating and wonderful. This hotel is a small boutique hotel that I would recommend to someone wanting a stay near the tube *underground/subway. It is close. To transit options, and safe at night. It has restaurants and shops and cafe's nearby. It gives deals to visitors to nearby vendors. It is quiet at night. My first hotel was a B&B that had little water pressure, no decorative updates in decades, and while the staff were polite and nice, my room felt like a cell. This is not about comparisons though, it served its purpose. And I can now tell you why I give this place, the Resident Kensington, a 5 out of 5. Clever use of space. The double bed is propped against the wall. Giving more space to walk and even do some stretches. Only 1 night table with a cool knob to control the foyer and overhead lights. Press down and lights go on or off. Turn the dial and it dims. An entry key slot. When leaving or coming, it automatically turns lights off or on when you pop your key card in. A closet with multiple hangers. A drawer, shelves and a safe. A desk to stay organized. Another door...Oh goodness, some creature comforts like cutlery, glasses and mugs and plates. A microwave, a tiny fridge and the kettle, Nespresso and a sink with a faucet. Did I even get to the Brita filtered tap switch? My bathroom is modern with a quartz shelf across the width of the mirror. A magnifying mirror helps with makeup, but a full-length one is near the desk. The shower is a decent size. No tub. But no matter. A floating toilet makes it feel more open and bigger. And there is a heated towel rack. Totally a wonderful luxury after the last few places I stayed at. The staff were welcoming, helpful and there's a nice social mixer in case you want a complimentary glass of wine in the evening, with some packaged snacks, and meet other travelers. I spoke with a nice Romanian IT sales guy named Dan the other night. What's not to love? The only downside is for anyone mobility-challenged, as it does take a few steps to get to the front door. I would not hesitate to book here again.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Nadler Kensington, now called the Resident Kensington. If NOTHING has changed, this review should be solid - we had a ground level room with a nice patio, and the room was clean and had a kitchenette with a small fridge. The only annoying things - one small wastebasket, no plastic wear, no plug for the hairdryer in bathroom, and no bathroom ventilation. Other than those minor items, we thought the service was outstanding, pleasant and professional, the room and hotel was clean and comfortable, and it was a short walk to the Tube. If everything remains the same, we will return here on our next trip.

Hello NCHS80, Thank you for your review, we are delighted you enjoyed your stay. Rest assured, there have been no drastic changes. Some in room improvements, and we will be updating our lobby to complement our new name... but we are still the same people providing the same service. The name change was more to reflect what we were already doing, which is focusing on the residents of the hotel, and making sure everybody feels at home both here in the hotel, and in the neighborhood. We look forward to welcoming you back on your next trip! Warm regards, Brendan

I have stayed here for three times. Staffs are so helpful and friendly. This area is very useful to go anywhere. So, I always many art galleries and museums. And I sometimes go to Royal opera house to see ballet at night. So you can go hotel only using Piccadilly line after enjoying ballet and musicals in London. By the way mini kitchen in room was very useful and clean. Like my room, I always feel relaxed. Empty refrigerator was good for me to stock my favorites. Before check in and After check out, you can leave luggages! This is my best place to stay in London. Thank you!
